That first lady’s acknowledgment and accountability was refreshing. She didn’t make one excuse for her actions, she owned it and how she hurt her boys. I’m so proud of her! You can tell she genuinely loves her boys. I pray they heal and wish them nothing but the best.

Ghosting someone is a problem after he made a commitment with money involved. The thought of drugs came after he ghost her because as close as they were she believed it had to be something extreme that’s going on. She found out he was just being childish and didn’t speak up. He was dead ass wrong and he used the drug as a reason to deflect on what the hell he did. Periodeeet.

Yea he definitely deflected him taking a drug test on the show ive been ghosted before a couple times actually and not once have i said oh its because my friend was on drugs He was spending rent money on hoes For her to jump oh hes on drugs is crazy as hell She is acting like that because she operating from the bases that he is a crackhead and this is an intervention tf i would've ghosted crazy ass to if this is what she do

The First Lady who sat there and took accountability for actions, realized she was wrong, and genuinely apologized to her sons is so amazing. I was in tears watching it. I wish them happiness going forward. And congratulations to her for her sobriety ❤️

He literally dropped off the face of the Earth after making a commitment to her to share an apartment, which I’m sure put her in a predicament to where she ended up being responsible for 100% of the rent. Adding insult to injury, he then blocked her, and then he had the audacity to come on the stage saying that SHE should have been reaching out to HIM. HOW, when you have effectively cut her out of your life?! Now, he is trying to make HER feel guilty for his dirty deeds. Fredo backing up makes sense. Asking a man (claiming ur only friends) to move in with you and your kid is a BIG commitment. My guess is he doesn't want that extra responsibility (especially if they aren't connected romantically) of having a kid in the house. That's gonna change the dynamic and freedoms that he has, regardless of what people say. Its so odd not many folks watching this can process that lol. The mom in the first part is so REFRESHING. I know she made her mistakes and they had a big impact on her boys, but she loved them enough to give them a genuine apology and she’s actively trying to be a better person and parent. I wish my mom was like that.

If he had been her daughter, and not her son, she would have done the same thing. She was strung out, and the oldest child, no matter the gender, often winds up having to act like they are the parent. There’s nothing unusual about that.

Yes they will always have the memories but that's doesn't mean they all can't move past this and have a healthy mother-son(s) relationship. Therapy would help them tremendously. But that's just my opinion. I like to resolve issues because who has time to be bitter and hateful. It's exhausting.

I do feel that she is a bit “extra.” Lol… But, if I knew you for 15 years, AND we also looked at apartments, agreed on a place to stay, and I put the $1,200 deposit down for it with the agreement for us to split the rent, and you just completely disappeared, I personally would have thought you were either on drugs or had lost your freaking mind. How he did her was so traumatizing. I’ve had a friend ghost me, and it is very abusive emotionally.

I think what was a key point that was missing from Fredo’s conversation was the part that he felt as though he had to be a father figure or play “Dad”, which I think is what REALLY needed to be cleared up. From what was told they were just friends, but feeling as though one may have to play a parental role, ON TOP OF, moving in like I can see where he got upset enough to ghost. No justification but there just wasn’t enough context from Fredo’s side about how he felt about their relationship to really apply the lesson of maturity in moving in together. Because it is her lesson as well, I am not certain why she thought it was best to live with her friend when she had a child… especially one that isn’t invested in her partner in raising her children. Like she HAD to know that would be the reality of sharing a space, because she has been a mom for some time. But when Fredo’s began to speak on the nature of their relationship, she began to cut him off before he could really explain what it is. And I’m not certain why she went first if HE wrote to the show…. so idk I’m not certain what went on here but I wish the best for all parties!

No offense but a young single guy should not be moving in with his friend and her child. He would never feel comfortable bringing other friends over or even being loud if he wants and if he’s of age and using something that is legal in his state any mother would not want that around her child and only he can change himself. All of the pleadings from her will only work if he wants it to work.

Addiction is an illness like any other,no one is immune to it. It more often than stems from trauma. Believe me when I say,I GUARANTEE that mother will carry guilt for the rest of her days. Yes,she made a selfish decision. But is anyone perfect? I'm a professional psychologist so I understand the complexity of it

I feel like they didn’t say a key thing that would have helped Fredo get what was going on. If my BEST FRIEND of many years suddenly ghosted me after making a big decision with me, I would be thinking there was no way they’d do that to me if they were in their right mind. It doesn’t sound like she had a lot of evidence to go off but it makes sense she’d look for another explanation for what was extremely unusual behavior in the context of a best friendship.
