I just picked up my wife and daughter from the airport earlier after they went and visited in laws for a week. I just realized, after watching this, all the work I did around the house this past week.... The pool, the house, the cars, I got everything clean and perfect for them when they got home. Even though they were gone a week, I did that to make them happy when they got home.

Leanne’s relationship with the girls is so special, I hope to have that with my daughter

I love both Bert's wives. Stephanie and LeeAnn def need to do more together.

This is beautiful.” And then the Mother’s Day story came up and I was crying because I lost my mom early last year and miss her so damn much. Y’all have a beautiful family and such a beautiful friendship here, too, and ugh. Just. So refreshing, heartening, and rejuvenating for the soul to get to share in it. Thank you for making this and sharing it with us. ❤️

This was a great episode. The more I watch Burt do his thing and just talk and be himself, the more I like him and feel that he's such a genuine, loyal, kind, caring loving man to his wife, his family, his friends. His wife and his children are amazing! Great family! Great friends! Wonderful times! That's what it's all about and what we're missing in this world.

This was the best episode of Somethings Burning! LeeAnn and Stephanie are the best and the conversations provoked heartfelt tears many times. Awesome. So happy for the success of the movie. I loved The Machine and saw it in the theatre opening weekend. Can't wait for Fat Astronauts!!!

This was genuinely the best episode yet. Everything hit for me. Great job guys. Having grown kids myself, that part was awesome.

Truly teared me up, the laughs and the sentimentality. Loved this episode! It’s in my Top 5, for sure!

That Mother’s Day part brought a tear to my eye. I’ve definitely been taking my mom for granted and that was the kick in the ass I needed to start appreciating her more while she’s still around. Georgia sounds like a real sweetheart

From Omaha, thank you for all you do and have done for me Burt and his 2 kick ass wife's. One of the best sometimes burning I've ever seen.

Stephanie has sounded great everytime she's come up in Machine stories, great to see her on the show and her chemistry with both of you. Hope to see her in bigger roles in more things!

This almost hour flew by. The 3 of you are so lovely and down to earth and hilarious. I've known Stephanie a long time, and she is and has always been one of the most authentic, kind, honest, talented people you could ever meet. And, thus, I could see what truly awesome people Bert and LeeAnn must be. The joy that you all manifest and put out into the world feels limitless and therapeutic, especially in an era as hard and as in need as we are these past few years. Congrats and thank you!

Were lucky to have these podcasts...My day today as like many of my days was boring, filled with work for ten hours, I'm kind a broke, haven't got much going on, yet an hour or so of Bert's podcasts, I feel like I have been social, I've laughed, learnt things sometimes, de stressed, de compressed. I feel we are privileged to know these amazing people by proxy. I know it cannot be easy being so accessible to the public, but I can say from me as one person, it really is the highlight of many of my days, and I am grateful to you Bert, Bert's family, Joe and Joes circle, and the whole podcast community really. Especially during the lockdowns of the pandemic, but now so more than ever you were a shining light, keep up the great work.

Stephanie was a great addition in this thruple. I hope she does more podcasts.

As someone who is from the South (Kentucky) LeeAnn is a wonderful representative of our area. She's kind to a fault, amazingly open and inviting, and just unimaginably fun. She reminds me of an aunt or two as well as many wonderful women I've known over the years. She's great and I am so glad that she and Bert have found each other, as it sounds like they keep each other happy and honest. They balance in a weird way that makes no sense on paper but is perfect in practice. I feel like she would be perfect for the host of an "At Home" style sit down and talk show. She invites on a female guest and they talk about life, marriage, children, and everything else. (Though I bet that's not what she would want to do. I still think it would be wildly successful.)
