Though he’s probably long since forgotten the incident it’s good to see Jezza speak with Osman so cordially considering the latter launched a series of stinging and decidedly malicious attacks on him in the aftermath of ‘punchgate’ when both appeared on ‘Have I Got News For You’. Whilst largely devoid of actual humour Osman’s barbs against Jeremy were still modestly funny if only because they were reputedly supplied to him by some off camera, gag-writing chum he’d brought along. Osman was apparently incapable of contriving such ‘rapier wit’ himself… ;)

I can believe that, I've never found Osman funny on anything he's been on. In fact, on pointless it's often quite cringe-worthy listening to him trying to be funny.

They were jokes referencing Jezza’s objectively poor behaviour. Can’t do the time don’t do the crime, I love both and have followed Jezza since I was a kid, but he throws shit out as much as anyone I find it hard to believe he can’t take it as well. Osman is definitely a funny man, check out his appearances on Would I Lie To You.

  • @makara80

@@dragoxk4542 I wasn’t suggesting Jezza didn’t deserve ridicule for his behaviour and it was HIGNFY after all so he obviously knew what to expect. But Osman’s clumsy attacks were undeniably malicious in nature and were clearly motivated by an eagerness to gleefully kick Clarkson whilst he was down. Still, as I say, that humourless Osman allegedly required a lackey to help him malign someone well known for deliberately opening himself up to mockery anyway is funny in itself. ;)

Given they love Clarkson for saying it like it is and not getting offended, why are Clarkson fans so offended and precious about a guy making a few jokes at his expense on a panel show? Snowflakes

People will always have things they don’t know but to think “he no smart he just read” shows the lack of just research you have done into his education. Your argument is laughable and you should be ashamed at your 1 dimensional thinking.
