My wife and I just moved. I feel like I got run over by a truck! 24 years of accumulated stuff. I’m glad you are now home again. I only wish we could move as fast as you high speed camera does. I’m looking forward to your next project and hope one day to own one of your beautiful and brilliant turns. I’m glad you’re back! I don’t even turn and never have, but it’s nice to vicariously turn through you Mike!

Mike, I’m so glad for you to have accomplished this move with such apparent alacrity. We can only imagine how much work you’ve put into things behind the scenes so to have things in order in the time frame you have seems pretty amazing to me. I’ve been in my house for years and I still have that one room that never completely got unpacked. 😂

Glad the second contractor actually did what was promised. You "essential" turning tool collection is far more extensive than all of my turning tools. I got a smile seeing the dogs make an appearance. A lot of work to get things organized. Well done. Dave.

Moving stuff between storage locations is a hobby in its own right. We refer to it as centrifuge cleaning - because as you spin the stuff around locations, parts of it escape and get donated or recycled.

I’m still so happy that things came together for you the way they did. New home, new shop, and the fun part of setting things up the way that serves you the best. I’ve been thinking about replacing my old metal shed with a slightly larger wood shed. They are terribly expensive here in the states though anywhere from $1200 to the sky is the limit I’ve lost so much room in my garage just with project wood alone. Looks like it’s coming together pretty well my brother. I look forward to future updates. All the best Mike.

Thanks brother, they are not cheap here either. These two sheds cost me £1700 ($2164) , the cost of timber has really soared!

Packing and moving always seems easier than unpacking and sorting! Best of luck, mate!

Was watching a video about left and right brain activities. Planning and organising stuff is pure left, crafting beautiful shapes is pure right. Seems you have been blessed with a perfect balance of artistic flare and joined up thinking to make such varied yet well conceived and engaging content. I hope you christen them left and right sheds, wouldn't it be interesting if the right one became the messy one. Thank you as ever my friend for what you bring to us.

Mike, your new workshop and sheds are looking great! I have loved watching your journey and congratulations on your 2nd anniversary of your channel. ❤🎉🎉 You all seem to have settled in nicely. Your dogs are gorgeous xxx looking forward to your 1st project in your new home. ❤ Update on us.. We are very happy and settled here in our bungalow. We even have 2 large birds of prey that are nesting in the woods at the back of our garden and fly over every day around lunchtime. Not sure what they are as yet as there doesn’t appear to be any details about them , not that I have found. Ongoing searches should eventually come up, we do have a badgers set locally too, we hear them snuffling around at night. Even though we are not really rural we have lots of interesting wildlife that live close. Life always proves that we can and do overcome the difficulties thrown at us. Even when we are sure it is not wanted. People who freely give to others really do reap rewards, even when they don’t appear to be in our favour. Time proves the gift what has been given. 😊❤

The sheds look great, and very well built!! Probably for the best that the first place didn’t build them (maybe they saw you were a KZreadr and didn’t want their work displayed on your channel?!! The wind looked fierce! I’m glad you were able to get so much done!

Ugh, that's the thing I hate about moving. Finding places to put everything, sorting though all the stuff. And it never seems to end. I moved studios about a year ago, and I just now am finally at the point of being organized. Except for the storeroom. That's gonna be the fun part. lol Anyway, those sheds look great. Glad you were able to get someone to finally put them in. Happy 2nd anniversary! :)

Just an idea: Before you build a dividing wall in your workshop or get the plastic sheets, your wife could hang a fabric curtain over the (inside) door from the house. a really nice tapestry type will add a second layer of dust and noise insulation. *50 bowl blanks makes 50 gifts for viewers. (wink😉)
