Someone DESTROYED My Side Cover - Matching Vintage Flake Paint!

Someone DESTROYED the side cover on my CB750 chopper! A person came into my building and accidentally stepped on the right side cover which shattered it into many pieces. This bike was custom painted back in 1979 in this flake paint so it was not a simple job to recreate. Luckily my friend reached out at just the right time and took on the job! Big thanks to Alex for the help on this! Definitely check him out!

I do love metallic and glittery paint, really does make it that much more special in my opinion. Always cool to meet new people too (that don't want to kill you). Lol

Yeah he felt bad but I didn't want to dwell on it in the moment while he was there. On e he was on his way I broke down and had a pitty party lol

P.S. I have the same type of seat on my CB-1100 as that green 750 he has, and seeing that one makes me wish I had gone with clip-ons or clubmans on my 1100!
The last time I helped a fellow biker he was stuck at the side of the road with a broken throttle cable, I suggested he wound his tick over up to 2.5k revs and rode home, he didn’t want to do that, ok I said I have a universal cable repair kit at home 8 miles away, I’ll go get it, so when I returned he’d gone, no doubt he wound his tick over up, the twat! 😂

He did but It was priceless so it wouldn't of mattered. It worked out in the end
