I have a gut feeling about something, what if... Hanako's existence was meant to be kept a secret from the world?!

I kinda like the idea of Hanako & the devil being related, mainly cause from what I remember they are the only characters that have bright red eyes like that (alongside Kou). if the police and EOS were involved with Hanako's death like you're theorizing it could add more motivation to a potential revenge plot on the devils part.

I Luv the video!! My fav theory is prob why the devil chose his nickname and the Yumeo talent theory. And although I personally don’t believe in the Morita twin talent swap, it’s also interesting to wonder if Shion was Yumeo’s therapist, would it mean Shion lied about not knowing her talent. Why would Yumeo be an exception? Why could he be the only one to remember Shion’s true talent while he doesn’t know Izanami’s despite their closeness? I would also like to add a few of my points here: - I think Hanako could’ve either been the chairman alongside Ryuusei (his nickname does look a little contradictory, but I can’t shake off that he could’ve shared the same position as her considering he mentions the previous chairman must’ve been a great GUY), she was next in line, or a simple helper who also worked as an oiran considering she resembles a lot to a Japanese Oiran, who were entertainers both literally and sexually. Probably the second or third, as I haven’t looked into multiple yakuza chairman’s yet. - Tomoya and Shion’s talent and which parent they stayed with should (personally) probablyyyy not be considered in swap theories, considering the impact of their parent’s divorce seems to have been so hefty on their relationship and with the other parent it couldn’t have been recent, so it must’ve been when they were younger when they didn’t have talents. That means the occupation each one had doesn’t matter. (Unless it was recent but 🤷‍♀️)

I think Izanamis talent is the pure luck meaning that anything she tries will get a good result, and she uses this to catch criminals. Her luck would be better than Nagitos luck

I'd like to add to the Chou part that in the most recent DR:(H)AD Video (a.k.a the Update & Q&A Video). It is stated that Chou's clothing preference is Jirai Kei. And that is strongly associated with darker and controversial themes. The term "Jirai Kei" used to come as a slang term to describe women who are mentally unstable to the point of emotional breakdowns. (I took this info from Japanese Fashion Wikia Fandom,so take this as a grain of salt.)

Izanami and her cousin are The Ultimate Delta. This is basically confirmed in Above the Yellow Spring - Episode 4. Slow the vid and stop/play repetitively you will see the jumbled words hide one with the exact combination while others are complete gibberish. The developers don't seem to try to hide it too hard since this term is still too vague. As to what it means, if Delta means incremental change here, then I have a decent theory. I think their talent is to acquire the talents(generic and ultimate alike) of people around them. In ep3 we learned that Izanami is rather good at everything. She started the monolog-deducing scene, yet ended it with "You noticed it too, right Akira?" I think this has a deeper meaning, alluding to her gradually picking up Akira's hitman observational instinct. She then sensed Akira has a secret, and guess who sensed it too? The Ultimate Con Artist, and she picked that trait. (in Danganronpa formula these incidents could hardly just denote her being super smart or observant ). In ep5, when she mentioned divine punishment, Rei asked if she could sense spirits too. This seems like a haphazard digress from Rei, but if my theory holds weight, it would be another carefully planted and consistent plot link. I am actually really confident in my interpretation and none of my deduction seems far-fetched to me.

How about this? Izabami is a Seer. Someone who can see the future through dreams. She could have seen the killing game coming or at least know Akira’s talent that way. I just thought of the most impossible thing and that came up. Edit: The Devil could also be the mastermind. I mean if he rejected his title out of resistance it highly likely that he started the killing game.

I know there are some people who find her sus and even think she is the mastermind, but I don't think she is the mastermind.. and there is also the fact that she said something along the lines of "If anyone is to become a filthy sinner, they shall suffer Divine Punishment." And then there is the fact that the guy that rejected his title is considered The Devil..

@@oceanunknown Hey if you don’t mind I got somethings for you to review. Danganronpa Desperate Heart,Hazbin Hotel & Danganronpa The Wolf’s Game. Though for the last one you may have to put up a trigger warning because Ch 3 has a lot of heavy topics…That’s all I’ll say.

As interesting as the swapped talents ideas is, there are too many holes for me to accept. One, why do that, what reason is there to gaslight a therapist into thinking she is a criminologist. Two, they’re famous, if this ideas was to work then everybody in the game would have to all be implanted with fake memories. Three, why take away all the talent and experience of a therapist but not their criminologist brother. (I’ll get to why I’m asking this) So then one may ask why I believe them at face value, well. . . While both a therapist and criminologist can help stop crime, a therapist usually has to deal with personal matter that demand privacy and a closed environment. While a criminologist has no such need for as strong secrecy and can be more easily turned into news. Another point is that a criminologist deals with the study and, thusly, the prevention of crime, while a therapist is more likely to deal with the aftermath.
