Seeing the grass growing in some parts of the lagoon is definitely a change of scenery, some happier fish around in some places.

To keep the noseeum off on the cheap without nasty chemicals. 12 oz witch hazel 12 oz original brown Listerine 5 drops tea tea tree oil Put in any clean spray bottle spray on exposed skin liberally feels clean smells good. You do have to reapply every 15 min as it is not full of oils but that’s why it doesn’t feel nasty. The noseeum in the lagoon are usually only the first and last hour of daylight most days. No breeze and overcast conditions can make the last longer.

Honestly, where I live tides don't play a huge factor in fishing. The wind matters more.

I don’t know what’s been happening but the reds aren’t biting. I haven’t caught one in like 2 months. Same with big snook. They aren’t hungry and I don’t know why. I’ve tried every bait and lure possible.
