The more you do it, the better you get and more comfortable you feel…(solo travel). The Triumph is a great conversation piece, the two comments I typically get from strangers: 1 - My Dad used to have a Triumph 2 - I didn’t know they still made those Just 5 minute conversations, but one of the things I enjoy on my solo trips. Beautiful video

what a pleasure to hear an American talking about Triumph motorcycles.Some of the vids from England, are, well, I have a hard time even understanding what they're saying. My wife and I sometimes overwinter in Houston, Tx. Preparing to dump my Harley softail for a Speed Twin, or t-120. Difficult decision!!!
This was the first video of yours that I had seen; it was great. Have you vlogged before? You're doing a fantastic job with your videography; the editing, b-roll, and overall content are top notch. I binge watched all of your videos and have enjoyed watching your motorcycle journey. keep the videos coming.

Just got home yesterday from a 500 mile round trip from Tucson to Silver City NM, where I visited the Gila Cliff Dwellings. Then rode thru the White Mtns of AZ. My '22 Street Twin is absolutely built for mountain roads!. Nothing like solo riding to reach that "moment of clarity"...

You've certainly cracked the whole glamping thing, that looks like a fantastic placed to stop. I think there's something extra special about an overnight trip, that feeling of being at one with the bike and with our surroundings just seems heightened by knowing we don't have to turn back on ourselves the same day.

Thank you for great video, solo riding is not for every rider but its def takes you to another higher level of travel experience. Last week i was riding w my friend from PA to AZ where he lives, now on my way back to PA by myself.
One of my favorite bikes was a deep metal flake purple with a black frame, Triumph Bonneville 650! Sleek and very fast!
Good job.👍 Arriving in darkness in what I thought was the middle of countryside to hear the sound of emergency sirens in the distance was a surprise for someone based in the highlands of the UK.

Come to America; start in NYC and ride to Oklahoma, out thru the Texas Panhandle, across NM, up thru Colorado, out across Nevada, to Seattle. Long stretches of solitude country and 5 different climates. But get a saddle you can sit in for 10 hours a day, for 10 days, and still get off and stand up straight and walk straight.

Always a pleasure to watch your videos and see the places you visit. On Easter holiday I did a 600km (370 miles) trip on my ST and I missed a lot the windshield of my previous bike, a Himalayan. But we get used to the wind on the chest, and it's always good to take short breaks to stretch our legs and arms and eat something. Nice to see that your bike didn't get jealous about the little cheating in the Yamaha... hahaha

Hi, great video! Can't imagine how much work went into shooting and editing. I ride my Bonnie T120 around this area often and it always a great experience and keeps me coming back. One note though. Caliche is pronounced Kaleechee, not Kalaaachee. Its a type of stone that is found a lot in the Hill Country. Kalaachees, spelled Kolaches, are pastries with fruit fillings/toppings.

Wanna show me some good rides in TX? I will b hitting Houston in 2 days! Lets ride...
Admit it, you pee'd in the hot tub didn't you? Don't worry. I sub'd anyway. Hooooooray chocolate chip cookie for breakfast! Well done. Did you dunk it in regular milk? If you dunk in 2% milk you're a commie and Santa will stuff your stocking with house cleaning supplies. Don't ask how I know that. If you're gonna be doing distance trips I recommend raising your handle bars 6"-8". 6" tall and 2" pullback risers with a low bend handle bar will do it. You're body position is leaned forward, which is not good for distance riding. You want your back as upright as possible for distance riding. Bringing the bars closer to you and raising them a bit will give you much more comfort, damn near ideal body position, and improved control. ALWAYS keep two fingers on your front brake lever (AT ALL TIMES). You lose 150 feet (or more depending on speed) of time and stopping distance if you don't have fingers on the brake lever in an emergency stop situation. There's more, but I'll shut up for now. Fly low and avoid the radar...
@moto_des
Жыл бұрын
Oh interesting, thanks for the suggestion on the handle bars. I definitely try to keep two fingers on the front brake a lot, especially driving through intersections. Thanks for watching!
