It bothers me that these new lux brand shoes require additional $$ to-make them safe and wearable. Really appreciate your shop and family photo tour.

They are perfectly wearable as they are, this just makes the original sole last longer. I tend to be particularly hard on the toes of my pointy shoes. If I didn’t do this, I’d wear right through the tip in no time.

I don't find that I have to do this with my luxury brand shoes. I prefer to have the leather soles personally. I feel as though they wear more comfortably and form to my foot better. I know there is a huge divide on people who are die hard about resoling their shoes once they get them, and others are very much so against it.

I have to tell you as I watched this video I was thinking okay sole guards on ladies how long can it take. Then as always you save the best for last. Steve, watching you trim those ladies shoes would worry the hell out of me slipping and cutting through the uppers, but not doing it comes with your experience.
