The red pinstripe was a unique idea
It's good to say what the price is. That way people who can only afford around $30 won't bother asking for a quote.
What an honour to have the man that I've watched for years and that I've admired finally work on my only pair of dress shoes! Steve, I cannot thank you enough. I look forward to growing old with these shoes and returning to the video to watch how they were re-crafted... maybe one day pass the pair onto my son. Appreciatively, J. Boadi P.S. I will try my best to find a cobbler as good as you here in Ontario and within Canada. Thank you for encouraging us to spend money locally, however our only hope is that the customer service and overall outcome is as good as what you have offered. EDIT: For those that are wondering why I would send CLs to Steve even after paying for them at their retail price: It was an impulsive purchase back in 2017 and since then I’ve only worn the shoe twice. As I’ve gotten older, Ive realized that I am not a fan of wearing items that are too noticeable to the average individual; especially if others that know what I’m wearing costs thousands of dollars. Hated the pointing and attention the shoes got when walking down the street.

What you've spoken is exactly my sentiment! I too live in Ontario so it'd be greatly appreciated to share who it is if you do ever find a great cobbler locally! Your pair turned out beautifully, especially with the attention to detail Steve added.

Joyce L Thank you Joyce. I simply cannot wait to wear them especially now that they are not so “loud” and “in your face”. Hope you have a wonderful day 😊

J. Boadi aweeeee good for you enjoy them!
Christian Louboutin can learn a lot from you, what you did blows what was the original shoe into a much better looking shoe that will last longer. Great job as always. 👍🏻
Love that you share prices! Honestly, I don’t follow anyone that does not share prices.
Every video is you outdoing yourself. More than just a resole, this makes them unique.
The fundamental aspect of Louboutin shoes is the red sole. After seeing at the before you started work on them how horrible they wear, I understand the customer's desire to keep it natural. The red touches nicely keep the spirit of a Louboutin shoe!

I see a lot of people put some sort of clear or red pad underneath if they want to keep it red.

Steve, such a humble man...recommending you to go to your local cobbler to re-establish the local market. That's a nice message.
I am a cobbler from Sydney Australia and seeing you transform that red sole to JR sole natural look with the red touch was something I can adopt and suggest to my customers thank you for the great idea

Yet another "better than original" repair. The red pin stripe looks much better than the red soles.
No job too big or too small or too difficult for you Steveroo...! When it comes to leather, you could fix anything..! Love watching you work buddy, you're a true MASTER...! Greg, Indiana
Fabulous job! I think it’s smart to give your price, it keeps the phone from ringing with people wasting your time looking for cheap work. You do quality work and you deserve to get paid a fair wage!
that red border on the sole is a fantastic, subtle nod to the original. Great work as always.
Great channel. Great work. Very considerate of you to shoutout all local cobblers, had not thought of it, but going to send a couple of pairs their way this week.
Thumbs up! Dunno why, this never gets old!
Whats nice about the work you do Steve, is the quality and full attention to detail. You never just get a job and do the basic, you always go above and beyond. You fulfill your clients brief but still add a unique, handcrafted and thoroughly beautiful work at the end. There's no scrapping by, making do. You only create the best of the best. Often your work is far superior to that of anything done by the manufacturer
Steve is a stand up guy for putting out his PSA to help other cobblers. I do a combination of mailing orders and local repairs. My local guy (in Germany) is a 'Meister', but his crafting has left much to be desired. I'm going to share Steve's channel and a few others with him, and see if he's open to doing things to my expectations. If not then 'oh well'...
You should dissect more of these high fashion brand shoes

also another cool idea would have been a single red screw in the gold plate at the bottom, the dovetail was a brilliant touch either way
Nice work Steve ! I was surprised that the customer wanted toe plates, because I have not seen them on shoes for years...thanks for the video.
Morning Steve superb work once again the little touch of red was an excellent finish 👍 also Steve telling people to use there local cobbler during these troubled times was a touch of class from you it shows what a great man you are 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What you said about supporting local cobblers is really classy!
Steve you are the kind of man we watch because you are a normal good guy
Beautiful work Steve. You are honest enough to say what your prices are. You aren't cheap, but you do exquisite work. True to the old adage that you get what you pay for...In your case, indeed its true. The fact that you threw the local cobbler's a bone was a great kindness good sir.
those soles look stunning , I love the idea of the red stripes, it subtle.
I love that you share your prices!! Your worth it.
Steve whistling to Believer while fixing shoes! A+
Wow 🤩! Amazing job as always Steve!
Steve, your talent is undeniable. Your caring heart is the icing on the cake. You touched my heart on the outro. Gratitude is so important, and you are a great example. Thank you for your videos and your commentary.
I love the red line design! Great job!
I think your right about pricing, people need to know what price point they should expect for the type of work you do.
Love to watch you work....perfection personified. Love your version of dovetail heel.❤️
Wow that is a incredible job Steve love that touch of red.
Awsome "touch of class" Steve, you did a great job integrating the red into the soles which makes them one of a kind, Awsome!
Really like what you did with the pinstripe and the dovetail heels...wow!
Really like the red line touch as a hint to the past of the shoe. Superb job yet again!
Very great videos, and thank you for being open and forthright. Honesty is good.
What a gentle referb, with the tiny bit of red. ....I just knew Steve would do some piping on a shoe at some point. They came out great . Bet the customer will enjoy those. Especially with the red highlights around the outside edge. Master craftsman strikes again

I they look absolutely fabulous and that special dovetail you did with the red leather was SO COOL!!! TYFS
Love the red accent on the edge! Great job!
Beautifully sculpted sole. The red line and insert are great nods to the shoes origin. Thanks again for an entertaining and informative video.
Love to see you add your creativity to every job!
Love how you kept the red alive on the soles.fab
I love the way you are so open with your pricing. Totally unnecessary but so insightful. Much appreciated, I watch your videos immediately upon release.
Another great project, also great attention to details👍
Omg!!! 💖💖💖😱💖💖💖 love your dove block heels with the red accent!
You're truly a craftsman, someone who really cares about what he produces!
Wow! Great job! . The red stripe was a thoughtful and unique touch 👍🏼
Thanks for sharing Steve. Nice appeal to support local cobblers!
Louboutin is better made than some but, you definitely upgraded them.
I like when you fix the purses

I would never go local. I’d ship them, because I KNOW they would come out awesome. Love the red trim.
these look amazing
Wow lovely transformation, definitely one of my favourite. Great job steve. 👍
Oooohhh, that red looks awesome!!!
If he were trying to impress he succeeds in spades. But I think he does it for his own pleasure. Which pleases me more. Love this channel.
ahh you knew, i was thinking fiddle back hammer was too quiet and was looking forward to hammer time at the exact time you said grasshopper, your final comments about supporting local businesses was spot on.
Lovely Job Steve as always :)
Impeccable work as always.
Beautiful Classy job well executed as usual! ;-) Loved the red pinstripe, understated but sharp...less is more!...Thanks for sharing.
The shoes came up awesome , with the red accent you put in. If they were mine dark soles would have been on point for me . Keep up the good work Steve .
Love the shirt. Looks great!
Love the price reveal. Great video. I am becoming a shoe expert!
Beautiful work!
Another great job Steve
This was a very satisfying and pleasurable video, Steve. The little piece of red in the dovetail was a nice touch. I never cease to be amazed by the way these shoes turn out. Thank you Steve for another new favorite resole! Love ya Dude.

Worth every penny Steve.
I see you've weaved your magic on the shoes Steve they look brand new now well done.
I definitely subscribed because I enjoy watching anything hands on.. I myself don’t own a SINGLE pair of dress shoes of any kind but i do OEM a shit ton of sneakers.. But these right here, SHEESH THEY MAKE ME WANT A PAIR.. Without putting them on and have you bless them like this.. 🙌🏼😍🙌🏼
Yes, my fav desinger shoes 💯 great job 🤩
Hi Steve, the red detailing on the sole was a lovely little nod to the iconic and trademark red sole. Love and respect to you and yours from the UK 👍
I really like the red accent, beautiful detail.
Wow Steve you did a beautiful job on them
Beautiful work as usual. Loved the pop of red, was not too much of red. Thanks again Steve.
Looks great. And thanks for sharing the price. Thanks for the vids.
Your very humble and your right.
Hammertime 🤣🤣🤣it’s the glue Steve ,thx for the time and video ❤️👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️see you next time .
NEAT the final read pinstrip on the edge.
Nice outcome. Cheers.
Incredible work.
Gorgeous!
Hello Steve another excellent job I like the video.
You're an artist, and a really good guy
I loved the red piping.
Liking the new camera angles Steve!
Great job as always nice shoes!
Final product came out great btw!
Gorgeous much better than original sole in my opinion
Nice job that man...much much better with a neutral sole rather than the red. Quality job.
Amazing, you really caught the essence of the shoes. When I was working and wasn’t disabled or skint I used a bonus to buy a pair of drop dead gorgeous CL stillies and was horrified to see how the soles marked and discoloured. Now I don’t get designer but fabulous quirky shoes that I don’t need to worry about the soles I dearly wish we had a local cobbler, we used to have a fabulous cobbler till he retired. Now all there is within a 20 mile radius at least is chain heel bars 😖
Awesome work as usual, that Blake stitching machine is damn neat!
I'm glad you say what the charge , if I should ever have to do something like this , ill know what to expect
Oh, I wished my town still had a shoe repair shop. The last one closed down almost 10 years ago. What´s left is taking your shoe repairs to a not shoe related shop that passes them on to some repair place (which is the quick repair kind and delivers poor work at high prices.) Meanwhile I´m my own inhouse shoe repair shop. This way if the repair turns out poor I can always try and make it better or do it again at only the cost of the material and will learn with each sole cover or heel I do.
