This made me tear up. omg. I want to play a new protagonist in the new game but Lavellan needs to confront Fen'heral. Them facing off is what's necessary for the closure of this arc. This Inquisitor is beautiful btw. #TheDreadWolfRises

Having watched just about ever Solas/Lavellan video on youtube, I have to say this is certainly one of my favorites. Definitely in my top 5.

Arguably the best solavellan video I've seen yet. Well done ! (Also, I absolutely LOVE your Lavellan. She doesn't look like a model all dolled up, but like a real person, if this makes sense. Love her !)

thank you!! honestly i used a bunch of face references when i made her, her design changed a lot and i had to redo her SO many times - but i'm glad, i was trying to go for a realistic look so she fit in better with the npc designs.

I clicked on the video and Cole started talking and I immediately started smiling. Both of my favorite characters in this video. :)

Hey! I watched a lot of "Solas/Lavellan" videos before I got to this one. Once I saw this one, I stopped looking because this perfectly captured (I feel like) the true nature of their relationship, executed damn near flawlessly--at least how it made me feel in my experience with it: acknowledge the pain and hurt but keep your priorities straight and your wits about you. I just wanted to let you know that it was *this video* that inspired me to figure out how to do this and make some of my own. My 'novice' shows quite a bit, but I'm having fun! So thank you for that! :D I have tons of footage and I'm not bored of it yet, so I hope they'll get better. lol If you're interested, in my latest one, I tried to take an original approach to explore the failed relationship from Solas' perspective (since I haven't seen one yet) with Cole meddling in the drama. Ultimately though, I just wanted to thank you for making this and sharing it and motivating me to join you all in the _"I-can't-seem-to-get-enough-Dragon-Age"_ club. lol

oh my goodness i'm so sorry i didn't reply to your comment sooner!! honestly thank you so so much - that's exactly what I was going for - my lavellan was obviously very hurt by the experience (having been incredibly vulnerable and open with herself beforehand) - trespasser saw her as a much stronger, emotionally distant person who was at first prioritising the inquisition and her people. I'm so hecking glad I inspired you to make a video - that's exactly what I intended to do since others had done the same for me, and I'll check it out immediately!!

Clicked with no really expectations - got blown away with how good it is. Just.. Amazing. I don't know how to describe it if not with the word 'perfect'. Ula Polak I’m just not prepared for all the feels! But now that I know for sure Solas is going to be, and even possibly be the main baddie, in DA4, I have to romance him now. If not for the feels, because I’m curious how the game might differ depending on if your inquisitor romanced him or not. But with my current Lavellan, totally romancing him.

I can't begin to describe how much I love this video. It's utterly perfect!!I must've watched in a dozen times today. I'd been spoiled rotten on my first DAI playthrough so I ended up pairing my 'not-so-elfy' Lavellan with Cullen, BUT MAN. THIS COUPLE HERE. They bring on all the angst.

The first time I played this storyline, I just made every main quest with the lowest level, just to see more solavellan cutscenes. 🙈 And then I played trespasser. That was my end. There are too many questions left without an answer (I'm sorry for my english)

Idk why I know this I was just experimenting but this goes so well with 'Runner' by Tennis it's insane (if you start runner first there's a beat they both share)

thank you thank you!!!! I recorded everything with bandicam (temperamental, if i could find another software that doesn't crash all the time i'd recommend that), for a majority of scenes i recorded without the music so I could get clear dialogue, however I occasionally recorded with sound effects so I could get the crackling of the anchor, etc. For editing, I used final cut pro, but only the trial version since it's the video editor I feel most comfortable using! hope this helps, If you have any more questions feel free to ask! x

trespasser was painful! but I'd recommend! it's the best dlc. And yup, I used a fair amount of outfit/hair/skin mods
