Sobriety gave me time with my mother before she died and the ability to love fully again. For my mom
My mother died June 22, 2017. I had been sober since July 24, 2016. Being sober was God's gift to my mother and me. She needed me and because I was alcohol-free, I was able to be there for her fully. I will never regret that time.

Had to view this again. 😭💔😭💔 would have been really wonderful to view a longer video of you and her spending more time together. It was absolutely precious to see you and her loving on each other. Thank you again for sharing

So touching Robyn. I came back a few years ago to look after my mother. Gave it all up to serve her in her senior years. God bless you for the time you shared. Such a blessing. God bless you 😥💔❤😇

She was a devout Christian and her prayers are what kept me from total destruction.

@@RobynWingerter my parents also Robyn. Several things I wont share on line. But 3 days before my Daddy passed we reconciled our differences on my knees a broken man in front of him as he wrapped his arms around me in loving prayer. 💔😥

@@brad2548 You're fortunate. My father and I were never reconciled until the bitter end. His last words to me in March were hurtful and terrible. We never spoke again. He died in July.
