Thanks for making these guides, I am very envious of you as I really enjoy Combat Patrol but in my area of the world it is 2000 point battles or nothing at all apparently. I just wanted to point out that the Impulsor has the Dedicated Transport keyword, which I think new players could use a bit of guidance on and I would have liked to hear you talk about. Not only does it require the player to deploy a unit inside the Transport at game start (meaning the Blood Angel's player has one less deployment drop), but as well, if you start the Incursors in the Impulsor, the Impulsor gets to make the 6' Scout move.

I have a lot of mixed feelings for this one since it contains NO jetpack melee guys, which are the heart and soul of any blood angels army, but it does have a ton of units that are great for rounding out the support and non melee units in a melee focused list. I guess the deciding factor will be if I can turn the blood angel conversion sprue into something that fits my successor chapter.

So just to give the Blood Angels their due- the deployment of the Death Company is far more fun than just shoving them out of any old transport. They have a specific Storm Raven for them and the Chaplain hypes them into a frenzy before the battle, enough that if a normal marine hears it he could fall to the Black Rage too. Baldermort recounts it at the start of his "Death Company Lore" video. For Sanguinius! (Back to watching this video, gotta make the primarch proud)

That's a good addition! It's difficult to cover everything, but I probably should have taken some extra time explaining the Death Company and the Sanguinary Guard a bit better.

It's crazy they didn't plan that and make the intercessors the start collecting assault intercessor sprue and have them played as death company

Very nice presentation with good supporting slides. You put some work here and it is appreciated. Probably the best KZread on the subject. Now let's see what the Christmas boxes will have for us. What do you think of the Furioso Dreadnought. The store finally got some in. Kind of drawn to the BA flavor. Two maybe?

Thanks for the kind words! I am also curious what this years Battleforces will look like, but it's still a few months until then. I'll do my predictions sometime in October and release should be end of November / beginning of December. As for the Furioso, it depends on what you are using it for. If its for a cool casual list, go for it! Its a fun model to use. Although, in my opinion, I'd probably assemble the Librarian Dreadnought out of that particular kit because it's unique, has cool weapons, and special rules for only 20 points more.

The Angel's Sanguine are so good looking, they won't even show you their faces and only walk around masked in public lol.

Love your combat patrol reviews Eplesh! Do you know what order you'll be releasing the rest of the CP reviews? Can't wait to see your thoughts on the Astra Militarum box.

I only plan 2-3 combat patrol videos ahead. Most of the time it's just whatever I feel like playing at the time, because my interest in the box and the rules/faction reflect on the video and the way I present things. I do take suggestions into consideration, though!

great Video thank you! Looking to get into blood angels but do want to follow the combat patrol rules etc . ( i have lots of imperal fists i can repaint in the future)

Radiant Wrath is super mean into Elves and dark angels. Dark eldar suddenly have their best units zeroed in on. Craft worlds already disliked the Icarus missiles, and now you get to bully their centrepiece too. Same with dark angels and tau (all their suits have fly) Icarus missiles actually open up a lot for marines, it's a shame Black Templar can't choose to swap the multi-melta

Could I beg u enough to do grey knights combat box? These videos r so fing helpful and I rlly need help w the lads.

I will do a video on all of the boxes! I'll consider doing Grey Knights earlier than I planned.

The storm bolters could have easily been listed as twin with twice the shots. Kinda weird they chose to use two despite how much they cut back on two weapons with twin linked

I don't think the intercessor have the sticky objective as it all should be said in the Datacard for ability. Plus is so confusing that the Incursor have their hay mines as it wargear option is not said but in the unit composition say yes.

Yeah, I am fairly certain GW wants you to assemble them with the Haywire Mine so you have the option to use it in full 40K later. They do that with a lot of units in Combat Patrol. As far as sticky objectives goes there is a rule in Combat Patrol that grants all "Battleline" units sticky objectives, so the intercessors having that ability on their datacard would be redundant. In case you are curious, read p.6 of the Combat Patrol Rules document. There is a small dark blue~ish box at the bottom which explains that in more detail.
