They will do a new sanguinor surely. Feel like they can easily justify really going to town on him and basically make him a primarch sized/priced miniature Personally most looking forward to a new astorath. Such a unique creepy design, doesn’t look remotely like a space marine and with new posing, scale etc he will benefit the most I think

Preordered Dante, still waiting on him. Hoping i dont wait 27 more years for him. Hoping for a bit of an Angels of Death edition with Lion and Dante getting models

I had the original death company box, it was my favourite unit, spent more effort painting it up than any other unit I seem to remember, got some appreciative looks on the table! No idea where it is now, but I'm currently building up and all metal Death company force (alongside all these other metal blood angels minis).

Really lovely history of the model range. I had no idea the old dante was from 96! The only omissions I can think of are the firstborn upgrade sprue which they still sell, and the stormraven though that's of course no longer exclusive to blood angels. Only a few weeks ago I managed to get the metal sanguinary priest from the honour guard, as well as the death company you showed afterwards. They absolutely still hold up detail-wise. The death company do look small especially since their legs are quite close together but after bulking out their bases with some rubble I've got them to the same height as an intercessor in a standing pose which I'm happy with. Unfortunately only a couple of their shoulder pads came with the ebay lot so I've used more modern death company weapons and shoulder pads for the rest but I'm really happy to have these relics in my Angels Sanguine collection.

The dreadnought kit is great. I used spare bits to make a librarian contemptor.

The Chaplain Banner sticker came in the Death Company box ready to attach. I do still have these models although I redid them with some plastic DC parts around 2012/13

1991.......I had quite a few minis by then. Mainly Space Crusade stuff I swapped for various things at school. I remember the death company release well! I painted them terribly aged 13 lol. I quit warhammer in 1995 and returned fairly recently - 2018. First modern purchace was the Blood Angles tactical squad. I was amazed how things had changed so much and very impressed with that particular kit. Now discontinued as you say. Ive been collecting Cadians mainly. Imperial Guard were probably the only faction I never had any of as a kid, other than epic scale. I did aquire a Space Hulk 4th edition quite recently. They are rather cool but im scared to paint them!

Great flashbacks.. The sergeant with the pointy power fist was the sergeant of Blood Angels devastators. Bloody loved that Death Company Chaplain model too. Somewhere out there is my lost box of around 2500 points early 90's Blood Angels.

I had (still have!) the original Death Company box ... and angels of death is the best book GW have made.

As a kid I played BA in 2nd edition, still have my metal captain, rhino, predator and maybe death company? - Need to dig through the attic - but I stopped playing before 3rd so this video was great, seeing when the BA models were released in those years I missed. Although I can't see myself playing 40K any time soon, I have been collecting a new BA army but it lacks 'true' BA models due to the generic primaris. I have Dante and Mephiston... really hope to see some of the older models get the same treatment. If GW want my money they need only to give us an updated death company with the look and feel of the iconic 2nd edition. That glorious chaplain followed by beaky with his twin pistols!

Original marines were the metal C100s, not the plastic RTB01 & were released a year earlier. The Strike force marines RTB15 (1990) were metal bodies with plastic arms and weapons. The Furioso dreadnought was originally in 2nd edition with a heavy flamer.and re-released with two fists for 3rd edition.
