Don't forget that Scylla benefits from leveling skipping at lvl 8 to get your crush fully leveled and activating her passive sooner which can be a factor in killing someone

Almost have Scylla on 10000 worshippers and this is a really neat video, it explains her really well! A tip for combo's, you forgot to mention you can 1, 2 (don't detonate), 4 and then detonate 2. The reduced magical protection late game gives her ultimate extra damage and the follow-up crush will most likely kill off anyone that's not a tank or warrior if her ult wasn't enough

@@starcrying6441 I don't think. He mean: root them (With 1), Use the 2 , ult and hit the ult. If the 4+1 is not enough , detonate.

While I play scylla as carry ( is great) I usually pick life steal. You can heal completely because of the minions with her 2. Is amazing

BRUH I JUST WATCHED A VID THAT THIS OTHER KZreadR WAS IN YOUR GAME NAMED DUKE SLOTH... But OMG I love Scylla, and this is a good video for players looking at using her to examine how she works 👍

Excellent guide and advice Teeds! Good luck on getting partner! Keep up the good work, but make sure to take care of yourself :) I have a little pro tip of my own for playing her that I've found very useful. So Scylla is one of those gods where it can be a good idea to hold a skill point after levelling up to max an ability early, especially due to the affect of her passive. With Scylla you want to do is the following: L1 Crush; L2 Sic 'Em; L3 Crush/Sentinel (depending on how confident you're feeling you can get Crush first for more dmg); L4 Sentinel/Crush; L5 I'm A Monster; L6 Crush; L7 Crush; L8 DON'T SPEND THE POINT; L9 Crush AND I'm A Monster. Doing this will not only get you 25 Magical power for free a level earlier, but also gives you the extra bonuses on Crush a level earlier. Happy Smiting o7 (P.S. Desacrator l so at lvl 13 it's more situational cos the extra ult dmg is valuable in a fight. Usually I'll hold the point and make my mind up if I get into a team fight before hitting lvl 14

Thank you for including poly as an item. Even up in high elo, I rarely see scyllas pick up poly as an item, or any lifesteal at all, though I build it for the auto damage. One thing I like to do when playing scylla is to use her 3 to reset poly and get bonus damage on towers. Of course, only use this in safe situations. For ability leveling, I think you should have included point skipping. when you hit level 5, you should have 2 points in crush, 1 in sic em, 1 in ult, and 1 free point. You can level your 2 again, or you can hold onto it if you really need your 3 as an escape option. Point skipping gives her early dmg a nice boost. Also, another level (I forget when) I like to put the point into crush over her ult just to get the power boost. Your ult has a cd and you can just bump it up the next level.

YESSSS, BEEN WAITING FOR THIS. I hate living in South Africa. Our damn ping is always so high, the delay on ranged attacks are insane, so they're hard to hit.... Which is why I can only do good with melee characters....

I like your tips. They are good for newer players. ^^ Just a side note; how about putting some semi-transparent pattern behind the text? It is sometimes a bit hard to read ^^;

Smite is lucky to have content creators like you and Duke. Also the rest of the gang i keep ip with. Mythymoo, Mast, Rexsi, Incon, Trelli, Emilzy, Jeff, etc etc etc. Keep it up squad.

I remember playing against a Scylla in Solo lane while I was Tyr. Not sure if this would count for all Scyllas since this one might've been new, but high mobility gods like Tyr seem to counter her as well since he effectively has two dashes and some knockback capability, I found myself blitzing her pretty hard around the mid game and there really wasn't much she could do in a one on one.

I am so sad that i did not find this epic youtuber before 😭❤️

For people that don't like stacking book of Thoth: Doom Orb is a great early game substitute. Gives 70 power 200 Mana and 20 mp5 for 1700g I think. You can change it out late, I like changing it for rod of tahuti.

For maximum damage, use the items: Time Pendant, Rod of Tuhati, Spear of Desalation, Magnus Spear, Orb of Doom, Book of the Dead, and then something else with a high damage stat for flexibility. This build also comes with the perks of cooldown reduction and magical penetration. This build is most effective in the order given. For the last slot, the best items are obsidian shard or charon's coin for penetration.

I have 31k worshippers with her and I just have one thing to say, poly is the item for Scylla. It synergises so well with her main combo that it becomes free extra damage. Just throw sicem, then crush, then poly, then detonate crush.

One good tip. Don't be afraid to ult to get out of bad situation. Sic'em is and always will be Scylla's best ability so learn to hit it. As for builds I PERSONALLY like to hit people as hard as possible. So things like rod and soul reaver are good but that's just me.

A fed Scylla is scary.

I'll mention Awilix here, so anyone reading this can know that Scylla's 3 (despite being underground) counts as a jump, so Awilix will be able to pull you in with her ult when you use it. She's also good at avoiding Scylla's combo with Feather Step.

For Scylla. Use her root before you ult or your explosion. Also be aware that sentinel is her only escape tool. Enemies will try to silence or otherwise disrupt it.

I have 27k worshippers on her, like she’s just way too fun to play! Good tip, if timed right and no aegis, root, throw crush, activate ULT, detonate crush and ult them 😈

I recommend getting her 3 at level 2 since this is her escape and without it she is pretty easy to gank.

Awilix is a pain in the ass mainly because of her ult. Since you can't escape until she uses it.

I have 5 stars on Scylla and honestly one tip I have is to expect people to walk out of your abilities. It happens wayyyyyy too much. Also ,for more experienced players, ult behind walls it's really hard to counter

I don’t know if anyone said it in the comments but Scylla 3 isn’t just good as an escape I use it for harassing the enemy and making people use abilities on me . I’ll cast it near my turret and run up on the enemy trying to get them to hit me or waste abilities and I just use it before the sentinel goes away and head back safely

I legit have Scylla at 9000 worshipers lmaooo, in regards to sentinel, I use it both as a escape and a ward just to have eyes on the enemy team. It really just depends but 9/10 I use it as a ward

As a scylla main, i advise everyone to try to fit rod of tahuti in your build. Try to fit chronos pendant in too( not necessary) Chronos helps you spam more abilites. Rod helps you secure the kills with your 1 and 2 late game and it helps you do a lot of damage with your ult against tanks. Fun fact: you can detonate her crush while in her ultimate.

Don't build Polynomicon until your 5th item and NEVER build Penetration boots when you built Book of Thoth, especially now since it's more reliant on other mana items.

Poly can be built earlier if you have book of Thoth as first item. Especially so if you have your 2 maxed since it gives 25% penetration.
