Kamil is an absolute beast! He saved my ass when he covered up a giant, dense tattoo on the back of my neck. Not only that but he is an incredibly nice guy. Super professional. And an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with. Genuinely the best tattoo experience of my life. I am forever grateful to him for what he did for me.

This comment is to both of you if you don't mind. Is he very heavy handed? I have a big piece on my leg that I've had lasered twice but I'm too pussy to go back and get any more sessions. Any of the artist that I get tattooed by in my state don't want to cover it up until I have two to three more sessions. I know I know but my God does laser fucking hurt. Watching the video made me think he might be heavy handed which I understand you have to be to a certain extent with a cover up. Just the way the guys skin reacted to even halfway through the tattoo scared me. He might have sensitive skin though. So what's your guys's opinion on that? I got tattooed by this awesome artist named Bunny but he was so heavy handed I couldn't get it finished in one session. And if I would get tattooed by Kamil obviously I don't want to go back for multiple sessions since I would have to travel. So what's your opinion should I even bother? I have a lot of tattoos ranging from 2 hours to 8 hours to get it done but I couldn't even last 2 hours with Bunny granted it was on my hip but still I couldn't take it! LMFAO And I've also aged quite a bit since my last tattoo so that also scares me since it hurts worse the older you get.

This world will never change That’s a valid concern for sure but Kamil constantly used numbing cream throughout the entire time he was tattooing me. It was seriously the most pleasant tattoo experience I’ve had (and I’m pretty covered). The session lasted 5.5 hours and we took one 5-minute bathroom break. I could have gone another 5 hours.

@@The_LE_Crooner thank you so much for your reply! I've never been tattooed with numbing cream used before. From your experience without the numbing cream would it have been unbearable? If I would have continued with bunny I would have puked my guts out and probably passed out! LMFAO even though that didn't happen and I just tapped out I still felt like I wasted his time and I embarrassed myself but luckily I knew him well. It would be a completely different situation with a tattoo artist I didn't know obviously. And traveling from Ohio to New York for a single tattoo that I couldn't get done in a single session would be incredibly dumb lol I've always wanted to visit New York anyways but still I don't want to waste anyone's time you know? Do you think the whole healing process is different or the same if you use numbing cream while you're being tattooed? I don't know if the healing process is different just because I would think putting numbing cream on in the middle of getting a tattoo done would be worrisome if you have sensitive skin like mine. My skin doesn't react bad to getting tattooed but if I use scented lotion after I shave I can have a rash. Or if I use something other than Aquaphor while healing my tattoos it could become a big mess you know what I mean?

This world will never change yea, I honestly wouldn’t worry too much about it at all. If you’re thinking about getting tattooed by him I would just reach out. I can’t imagine you being disappointed by the experience and the end product.

I think the idea that he's trying to express is that he likes for his clients to have trust in his artistic vision. When you pick a tattoo artist you should have a pretty good idea about what they do, and trust them to execute the best possible cover up. It's not like a client explains that he wants a Hello Kitty cover up and Kamil busts out a demon, it's that, especially with a cover up, a lot of work is done on the fly adapting to the tattoo that has been there previously.

Hello from the future. I've got one of those. It's technically a great tattoo, but the experience of getting it was so unpleasant and icky that I hate it. Doesn't help that it's actually somewhere super visible to me when I'm hanging out on the couch, minding my own business. I'm going to do something about it. I haven't decided what yet, because I don't want to think 'adding a kracken will make it feel okay' and then have a kracken and a tattoo I still feel awful about. I've talked to another artist, and she's really enthusiastic about doing something to make me not hate it. Its my body, it shouldn't make me feel icky. If you go to an artist and they aren't 100% enthusiastic with your reasons for covering a 'good' tattoo, find an artist who is.

Yeah I have something similar. I have two tattoos on my lower leg that do get a slight burning sensation if I am outside in the sun. They are both over a year healed and are just black and grey. I have also googled it and could not find anything for healed tattoos either haha. I am assuming it is nothing to worry about but it is definitely weird

I understand it's a heavy cover up but my god that guy is heavy handed! At the start of the video I was about to look him up and see where his shop is at to get a piece covered up that I've been too pussy to go back and get lasered again but after watching the rest of the video I think the laser might hurt less! LMFAO That's too bad because his art style is exactly up my alley and I think he would be down to cover up my piece too. Yes I know tattoos hurt but there's no reason to go to someone who's extremely heavy handed if you don't have to, I've learned that lesson already. Unless I might be mistaken and that guy has really sensitive skin or doesn't like the inks he used. Still that piece was gorgeous even more so as a cover up!

that final tat looks good cause it's fresh, once it heals you will still be able to see the tattoo under it, it requires many passes of white ink to actually cover the old ink under it, videos and pictures are these are deceiving

nobody cares, ive been in and around the industry for over 10 years + and that cover up is not going to look so good in 1-2 years !!! nothing to do with being realistic or style but the colour choices from warm to cool tones in this will blend in to one blob with light spots of blue here and there, just honest seen from experience NOT The internet, 🍻cheers

Cheddar Cheese tbh I disagree. A friend of mine got a chest piece that’s a coverup with similar colours and hers only started to fail after 5-6 years, and then she got it touched up. I think it depends how it’s put in, the types of ink, aftercare and the skin quality.
