Tbh the gameplay is pretty good - especially for a Day 1 release.. It's slower than warframe ( which I lowkey prefer ) - And its as pay to win as Warframe to, as in you can earn everything through a grind. Plus waifus that dont look like the inside of someones anus.

Less than a year apart and nobody can really say destiny copied warframe when it's was being worked on for years. It's obvious alot of the art in this game was HEAVILY inspired by Destiny 2 down to what the first armor looks like. But everyone hates destiny so people will agree with any take that spits on it.

Idk how people compare destiny and warframe, they don't feel alike at all imo. Warframe is like a horde shooter with fun movement and dull gunplay, while destiny has fun gunplay and comparable gameplay to borderlands(minus the looting).

I didn't think i'd actually enjoy it, but the damn thing got it's hooks on me.

They are going hard more so the Destiny players. I liked the first destiny, second one was also good but then they started to lock off content and I had limited time to spend couldnt spend 2 hours or more every single day to get stuff done and wasted alot of money, Warframe I couldnt get into it not sure why. But I am loving this game, played both betas as well and its just fun as hell

Nexon makes good games, but the management is poor. This game is not receiving any feedback from beta testing. Moreover, the director of this game is from NC Soft. Many Korean users are complaining and complaining in the Korean community about the director's incompetence

Make sure to have 3 Ammo Types for your Guns. I Use White, Green, and Orange guns. I found out that Purple Ammo is very hard to get in combat. Oh and Break Supply Boxes when you see them if you think you need Ammo they are Orange.

Gotta love watching streamers playing games like these without reading the tutorials, and then 5 seconds later questioning what button and how-to-do anything in the game 🤣 So chaotic and hilarious that almost all gaming streamers have this same particular trait when it comes to newer game lmfao

What people did not tell you is that the Ultimate decendants are like prime warframes. They can also be earned by playing the game and crafting them. The shop bundle just unlocks it early and has some bloat attached.

Prime warframes are not stronger from the regular ones. The abilities are exactly the same. Only differences are some mod polarities, and slight shield/health/energy/armor differences. Prime frames are not stronger in any way from the regular ones. They are fancier, and on most parts easier to obtain as well.

I'm so tired of every Unreal game now using the same scan assets. The environments all look the same now. Not only looks it all the same but they usually just scale everything up and down and you get visuals with messy texture resolutions. Best example that arid desert area.

Yep, there's a war on creativity rn and people don't realize it because we're all willfully making the conscious choice against it. As I was playing this with friends we talked about how this game traversing around the map didn't feel tedious, the map feels like the right amount of distance. Even "slow" chraracters feel fast because of the grapple hook.

There are some aspects it's an improvement from other titles like the run n gun with the grappling hooks is smooth, gear grind isn't much different, it's a looter shooter after all. Raid boss weak points and having interactive parts is cool. The character building and loadout is the true hook for me... theory crafting builds for each character is gonna be fun. People are free to say their opinions but for me it's a new shiny toy.

The biggest issues for me have been performance issues, and it's really just frame drops every now and then after loading into an area. And the difficulty of the game, I'm only lvl 25. But I'm running through all the raids solo with no problems and haven't died once.

Why are people saying it's $100 for the Ultimate characters? It's $55 for 3000 of the in-game currency. The 5000 bundles come with cosmetics and upgrade materials.

I played this today, I enjoyed it, I’ve played a lot of destiny and warframe, I like the guidance this game gives you, I don’t feel too lost or overwhelmed, it seems a little unstable on ps5 frame rate drops, but as a console player it doesn’t hurt me much they’ll fix it

The Guide looks more like Jean Grey than the Jean Grey in the Wolverine game.

The game is fun, the problem are the "bullets sponge" giant bosses called Colossi, names like Devourer or Pyromancer are frustrating a lot of players in this moment. 😅

At this point if I see "Free to Play" it's an immediate no from me.

When they lock cosmetics in a looter game, they are taking away content from the game and putting it behind paywalls. "yOu dOnT hAvE tO pAy iF yOu DonT wAnt tO". Yeah we f'ing know that. But it's a looter game, you want to find and pick up cool looking stuff. You want your character to look cool. When they keep the coolest looking stuff locked behind microtransactions, it's a piss off. Even if this game is the best thing since sliced bread I wouldn't waste my time and money on it.

100% this, been playing and having a great time so far, much more then I even had with some triple A games. Don´t even feel the need to buy anything. Since you can farm ANYTHING in this game, from skins to ultimate warframes (descendants), I feel like this is a great way to implement some motivation for actually playing, unlike wuthering waves or zenless zone zero etc. I mean sure, they are gacha but first of all they are games, and I ll just compare what I spend my gaming time on.

Right? I understand there's some flaws to this game but these devs seem to treat the players with alot more respect so far than Bungie or DE ever does. Destiny forces people to pay up 100 bucks every year to play 90% of the game, and Warframe has been on a ban happy trip lately with me being affected by this too after 3 years of hard grinding. This game gave rewards for participating in the beta, gives decent battle pass rewards (even the free ones), and keeps up with updates and patches.

@AdrianDWolfe having fun so far the guns are cool and feel good the progression feels good I dont feel like their unnaturally inflating grind gameplay is fun being able to implement web zips into movement is gratifying and pretty good character customization. The micro transactions could be a little better but its not as egregious as charging $20 for 1 skin unlike some paid for live service games. They just need to keep this quality going into future updates and I could see 1000+ hours being pretty easy.

Dayum man.. Korea really pumping up games. Its like they wanted to take back their throne as the center of gaming industry since their domination in 2000s online game. I missed my beloved DragonNest (2010) but fortunately, the OG ex dev on DragonNest is working on good games and one of them similar to DragonNest.

I agree, at first I thought it was going to be overwhelming. But they really streamlined everything pretty well. And didn't confuse the player at all I think

holy shit the starting zone is really smart for the end game fassion. you can see who has new characters and who comes in with big upgraded things. its good ads

remember guys, there are many games with gyatts where you DONT have to play destiny 2.

Destiny 2 is so bad. Even The Final Shape, which is argued to be its best DLC ever, is still at most a 7/10 compared to actually good games. The community is its worst part though. Absolutely insufferable.

You can earn all the characters, including ultimate, through gameplay. The ultimate descendants don't really make a difference until later in the game. You probably can pay to win, but it would mean paying for descendants and materials which you can't buy all of, so you'd still be left farming. Kind of weird, but pay2win is walled off by a grind to increase power. Grinding can alone increase power, but you can skip a couple of grinds by paying.

Love these people complaining about cost of things when you can literally just earn everything (minus cosmetics) for free

i disagree about lasers so far due to the horrific recoil but if you've managed to solve that then yeah, i like it too...

Asmongold: I just had the perfect timing in "the add" moment. Exactly when your chosen "hero" touched that "thing" I got the weirdest commercial with a bearded guy up in my face!! It was such a weird jumpscare, you would not believe!

im sure this has already been figured out but its so painful to watch him not figure it out. The ultimate versions of characters do have slightly enhanced stats over the regular version of characters, in addition to that though the ultimate versions can be earned in game so the only part of the bundle you really need to pay for is the exclusive skins and extras, which if you do earn the character in game the price is deducted from the packages. that has already been answered at least

Watching bro struggle to grapple onto the enemy after blowing thru the tutorial that clearly explains what to do was great.

I'm 15 hours or so in the game, enemies do get more variations, right now my nemesis is the frost slinging no legs robots. Or the invisible blade user ones, they get you by surprise from time to time, by te time you reach the 4 or 5 map there will be plenty of different factions and enemy types

Was just worried the way people were talking like it never changes and it's cash grab garbage but so far seems like Warframe to me and I played that game until I could close my eyes and play lol! Fun is fun

Combat is surprisingly good, but everything else is soulless and bland. If running and gunning is your thing, and you don't care about the feel of the world, then it's a good game. For most people, though, First Descendant will get stale very fast. The new and shiny feel for me wore off after about 5 hours.

What ur saying might be true, but for me, i didnt mind the game, i sank around 150h on it during the betas, but the last tech test and launch made the game so unplayable for lower end pcs, its insanely laggy and the loading times take forever, i played it for like 4 hours since launch and i got sick of how badly optimized it is

To call this combat good is crazy, it feels like a placeholder for an unfinished product Lacks the gunplay of D2, the melee and dynamic movement systems of Warframe and has the braindead enemy design / ai of Starfield on launch. All this despite somehow managing to rip off systems from D2 and Warframe 1 for 1 ( Just look at the upgrade module system, exact replica of Warframe's down to the ui and use of Formas ) I never played redfall but its combat looked more interesting that whatever I experienced here.

Warframe enjoyer here. I'm at 12.6 hours in First Descendant already. It's pretty good. My only cons so far is one-time use colors/attachments, as well as we need more miniboss mechanics other than "shoot 3 floating things". The flow and pace of gameplay is really great. As someone who has played 5.2K hours of Warframe and 55 hours of Destiny (and 55 is quite a bit even if not 100s or 1000s).. the upgrade system, menus, and mission structure are immediately familiar. So far, while the monetization is a bit excessive, it doesn't seem predatory or pay2win. Single-use colors sucks and needs to be changed.. and you shouldn't have to buy attachments per character, but.. other games do way worse. Hopefully with player feedback they will loosen up on the cosmetic stranglehold and also add some free stuff in the mix with new content and events.

I am interested in this game but once human drops on the 9th so i will probably be playing that since i don't have the time for 2 grindy games and im more interested in once human. will keep an eye out on First descendant once they polish it up a bit though

im having a blast lol. i know it's nexon but game's not p2w as in you can swipe for power, rather swiping is just for skins and stuff so i'm ok with that so far.

Everyone Saying this is a more expensive game than warframe while I do accept that to a degree everything you can buy you can get pretty much free on here. Warframe while decently good get pretty complex latter on and while yeah you can farm the currency, you can also buy it as well. Most trading is high tier riven mods or arcane, to get a decent role on a riven mod that’s actually worth something takes either insane luck or a long time, not to mention the amount of stuff for a new player to learn is quite crazy just mod building alone is pretty nuts to the point you can sell builds on warframe for platinum and while against tos most new players won’t know also having to keep and eye on market prices of parts you farming is an issue as well. I do recommend this game to people who would rather like a slower version and not too complex of a game before playing warframe

For the few people who don't know The Ultimate Descendents have access to Unique Mods that the base version does not as well as Additional mod Slot polarities that's the major difference 😂😂

Its not bad, im only like 6-7 hours in but im having fun so far and bosses seem kinda fun, to soon to really say much else for me. graphics are fine.

Ultimates as basically Prime Warframes... but ultimate forms have stronger of the main stat for what they are.. If i had the 100.00 to spend i'd get Ultimate Ajax. that massive Defense compared to normal is worth..

Game is good, it is free and been fun so far for me, 10h in the game. You can get almost everything by just playing the game. Just some skins etc. Enjoy the game, it is not even pvp so no need for that insane competition thinking that you need to have this or that or buy xp boosts.

I love how people complain about micro trans actions but pay for dlcs in destiny lol

Their service is an 'as is' so if something bad happens to them and effects you then they can't be sued or whatever, its on you not them.
