Even where I live (NW Ohio) it's been starting to warm up. Rode last week as well as today with a high of like 40. I plan on riding all week really. As long as you layer up, you're peachy. Let the adrenaline do the rest. N650 gang!

So much fun dude. It’s definitely different riding experience for sure.

20 degrees, keeping your face warm without fogging is a challenge. The cold snow isn't too bad depending, but keeping in mind that the ice water is instant slip even while going straight with the bike upright. Any ice patches can be brutal to the tire's grip in a split second, even at slower speeds. I'd recommend frame sliders, which I have on my Ninja 650 too just in case. The salt is corrosive, yes. Stay safe as always! I avoid the winter riding these days, but it's definitely an experience riding in snow slowly.

When I first got the bike my mask fogging was an issue. Now I ride with….well looks like a sky mask but open in the front. I don’t get any fog or condensation now which I’m real happy about.

@@BlackArroToons definitely does. I didn’t realize I needed it till I was riding in real cold weather. The helmets definitely circulate air which is great in normal situations.

@@CityNinja650 Thanks. I have a few helmets, but the newest full face HJC helmet is the best one I ever bought, keeping most of the wind out thankfully with the vents closed, unlike my prior HJC helmets of the same size. What brand do you have for your full face helmet?

I've riden in - 15 c weather, was it cold, damn right lol, legs were leg pops by the time I got to work. Stay warm bud

No shot dude. I put the bike away in December, I won't even consider it until the cold breeze is gone. It's really no fun riding when you're fighting the cold. It takes all the fun out of it.

I love it. Honestly my favorite is when it’s raining. Never got cold tbh. I dress pretty warm. Now the salt. 1 run and my chain is kinda rusty. Thought I got it off fast enough but guess not. Learned my lesson tho. Getting a beater next fall for sure

@CityNinja650 your channel is cool dude, I found it looking up ninja 650s. I'm looking to get one because I do a ton of city commuting, and the seating position on that won't break your back and wrists like 600 will. It's between that, and a Mt07. I like the way the Yamaha sounds, but I like the fairing look of the ninja. It's a hard choice, whichever I find a better deal on first I guess.

@@DELL.ACNT. really appreciate that. I wonder if the r7 is the same as the mt07. Kinda like the ninja 650 vs z650 where they are the same bike but the ninja has fairings. I’m really hoping to ride a mt07 on a demo day.
