Getting monetized in a year: Motovlogging

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The purpose of this video is to point out topics and ideas to better your KZread channel experience. I myself am new to KZread and still have much to learn, however, I have been able to start and become monetized within a year. While that’s not a huge deal it is still somewhat noteworthy.
KZread is a business and I’m hoping that this video will introduce topics and ideas for you to further explore on your own. I am not a professional nor do I claim to be. I am an ordinary person hoping to give advice without all the fluff.

Just subbed brother. Yea that’s one of the main reasons I like to do it. I don’t have any pictures or videos of me when I was younger. Even all the way up to my 20s. Kinda sad and I would like to look back on some stuff. I’m glad the video was ok. Real on the fence on posting it.

That's a nice road at about 20 minutes into the video, going up that winding hill. Nice riding and I bet your tips will help those new to youtube. Today I managed to change my '21 Ninja 650 tire for the first time. The back tire change wheel was easy like my prior bike. The front wheel was easy for removing, detaching the 2 brake sets, removing and then changing the tire with an 8" clamp vice made it extremely easy. It grips the inner edge, and breaks the bead with no struggle. Using 3 tire spoons, the vice clamp again and a long screwdriver for grip made putting the tire on easier, but still a good challenge at the last part. Getting the 14 mm Hex Bolt back on through the front tire was easy, but then it wouldn't catch the threads. It took me a good hour to realize I needed to grab/pull the wheel rim near the bolt, and at the same time, grip and push the 14mm attachment hex bolt wrench in with steady pressure while tightening and it finally caught. What a relief. A new tire for $100, saved money and time not having to visit a mechanic.

I need to have you teach me how to work on mine lol. I got to do my front breaks. It don’t look to bad but still nervous. I also have to do that air filter and plugs. I’m just reluctant because it requires taking the. Whole tank off. That’s really good you do all that work yourself. You are saving so much money and more importantly you are really understanding your bike. I need to do better in that relm

@@CityNinja650 The brakes look easier than my old Ninja 250 2008 and 2003 bikes, as those can be removed easily to work on the brakes without needing to remove the tire. I'll try it soon as the front is getting closer to thin in about 2 more years. The tire removal was easier too, as this time the brake packs are set up really easy to remove 2 bolts, loosen the brake bolt and it pulls right off the disc and goes almost just as easy back on when the tire is reinstalled. A video on that process for a newer '20 to '2024 Ninja 650 I haven't found yet. Just older models or brief glimpses of the process. A 14 mm Hex Bolt attaches to a socket wrench, and then making sure that bolt is loosened before attempting to loosen the main Tire Bolt holding the tire in place, then it'll begin to de-thread from the opposite threading of the bolt screw. Once that's done, and with the brake assemblies already removed, the tire is removed for work to install the new tire. For the tires, I don't use any machine other than a manual C-Clamp Vice and the Tire Spoons (3 are helpful), the clamp which was under $10 new. I can't believe I spent all those years trying to use screw drivers to loosen the tire off the rim, which took about an hour that old way, but now only takes 10 minutes. Then putting the new tire on is easy till the very last section. That requires a bit of gripping and brawn, keeping the sides pressed in over the rim, while trying to small step by step, pry over the tire edge over the final lip of the rim. Then hit it again with liquid soap all around both sides so when filling with air (A heavy duty air pressure filler works great), waiting for both sides to "POP" one time each side. Then to the proper pressure and it's done other than balancing if needed. Balancing is easy with those sticky weights if needed. It's kind of a fun process now that it's going much smoother and easier with that C-Clamp and the Tire Spoons most of all. Thanks. That garage you have would be great if you have the time. Finding the right socket sizes with a couple handy socket wrench sets really helped. I had to order the 14 mm hex bolt attachment socket online. No walk-in store had it that I visited.

i enjoy listening to your videos in the background, maybe drink some coffee, or whilest commuting to work and just listening. its kind of like you're that one friend that talks about their hobbies while you dont really have to say anything. keep doing what youre doing, youre awesome ✌Also what you talked about in the video, i kind of disagree. i don't think they do it, only to trick your brain. i think it also has to do with that sponsors and give-aways attract a wider audiance. Lets say that you have a discord server and now 'you as someone who wants to stay safe and be able to be part of a helpful comunity', now will have to pay a service fee to enter. so they can help you with questions, give away bikes, and all that. I think it's going full circle to make the most money out of it. If people want to feel connected they have to be part of it. do you want a new bike, heres a chance to get one. want more info we got you covered. And with give-aways it attracts new people to the channel, that are future customers. whist keeping them there, for as long as possible. to get money out of the video. So i think its more thought-out than just the attention span. but i 100% agree that we there for the bike. i always skip as much of it as possible. because the beginner that i am, actually appreciates the info they give. And while, yes.. that is a marketing sceme.. i also think its not neciserily bad to a full degree. it can also inspire others into the motorcycle comunity. But i totally understand if you can't watch their videos because of it. that's totally valid point you're making. i'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just more or less thinking of why they might be doing it that way. and it totally fitted with the theme of this video to talk about it. And yeah you just said it as i was typing.. the algorithm, yes that also. give-aways and jokes are more likely to get promoted, as its seen as as a plus, when it attracts people on a wider scale of things.

You do bring up good points about that. If there are a lot of cut aways promote something I don’t mind as much. It’s when it’s random trying to be funny stuff where it gets to me. (If there is a lot) like with Yam there was so much that I honestly forgot what the topic was and lost interest because I forgot what the video was about. It’s when it comes to that when I fall off. But like I said it’s art so what I don’t like doesn’t mean others will follow suit. I really appreciate the longer comment explaining things. I don’t know it all nor do I want to act like i do. I really like getting other peoples perspectives so I can better direct my channel. So for that I do thank you. And honestly I think you’re right. I was very hesitant on posting this video because I felt I sounded like an ass lol. Video did terrible lol. Im excited to be back on track in the next ones. Got the Eclipse one next week and might post a second to make up for this one lol.

@CityNinja650 you are very correct, it is art. and I 100% agree. I am not behind it either. but from a business perspective, I do get what's going on. and I'm sorry to hear about your video not doing as well as you wanted it too. I always enjoy your videos. keep posting videos you enjoy making. I think that's the most important part. keep being awesome and I hope I can see you in the next one. and nahhh I don't care about any of that either just another youtuber, I don't even think you sounded like an ass anyhow. you good bro, just enjoy riding and stay safe ✌🏻
