Snow Leopard incredible flight, fall and fight - rare footage from the Himalaya

Don't take off at us for the watermark. That is the sole reason we can carry this footage here for it would otherwise be IPR purloined and placed onto multiple other platforms, ruining our opportunity to bring you an exclusive on this rare occurrence from nature!
Please see the 16 minute long film on the Snow Leopard at this link, for the full story of this incident: kzread.info?search_query=...
Surely one of the most fantastic natural history sequences ever recorded in the annals of wildlife filmmaking! This is the FIRST EVER sequence of a wild Snow Leopard actually making a kill on camera, and what fabulous gymnastics and callisthenics to boot!
Do note the behaviour that you might otherwise miss. It allows us to do even more justice to this fascinating footage, especially as it’s been shot in 4K. There is a lot going on here that we don’t notice on first glance - for example, the way the Bharal still has the strength to attempt to pull itself away from the Snow Leopard, just after the first stage of the fall, and the manner in which the dexterous big cat is able to maneuver its body to help it survive. This footage tells us a lot about the two animals in terms of behaviour and physiology. What drama from the Himalaya!
Not exactly another day in the life of a Snow Leopard, but this young female Snow Leopard, while bruised and battered a tad, returned to feed on the Bharal kill and fully recovered to move on, and continue its unique way of life in the high Himalaya. Hopefully, she will have cubs this year, too. We will follow her and let you know of developments in her life...

Thank you for uploading. I saw this this morning on NatGeo and it is possibly the most amazing thing I have ever seen an animal do. Initially I thought the cat must have broken 6 ribs and a leg. He was limping after he ate, but the program showed him a few days later out hunting and leaping gracefully as if the fall never happened. Jaw dropping.

Both goats and snow leopards are exceptionally adapted for living in such high altitudes and have no fear of heights or falling which must be common. It is amazing that even while the leopard is cartwheeling with the prey it is successful in changing its grip from the back to the throat. It means it wasn't worried about the fall or even where it would land but was constantly thinking of maneuvering to get the proper grip. A flexible spine, dense fur and exceptional reflexes allow the cat to through these extremely dangerous falls. With that kind of terrain, most hunts will be like this. Extraordinary cat.

Impressive! No other mammal of that weight (ca. 30-40kg. and more) is as adept as surviving falls on rocks as the beautiful Snow Leopard. What's also rather impressive - is that the mountain goat (a Bharal, I take?) also survived the fall until subdued by the Snow Leopard. Also, the readiness to take on the prey mid-flight - is equally remarkable.

for those of you who think the leopard could be severely injured, the answer is no. Leopards have the most flexible spine in the animal world, it can bend or stretch or shorten in a split second like a rubber, plus an impact with the snow even when this is a 15m jump mean nothing for an animal who has a natural dumper in the sole of the leg and a natural armour in the form of a dense fur which, apart from protecting him from the cold of his environment, helps him to prevent any concusive damage. You can see, at the end, how the leopard has a good grip on the neck of his prey, in fact, as predator and prey were falling down you can see the leopard looking for the neck of his prey, that is how the big cats hunt.
