Snooker World Champion VS Tough Table Challenge | Luca Brecel
Спорт
The current World Champion Luca Brecel takes on the Tough Table Challenge from his club in Belgium. How do you think he's going to get on?
We also ask Luca 10 Quick Questions where we find out if he's nervous playing Ronnie, how many World titles he thinks he can win and why Mark Williams is like Kevin De Bruyne! We hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed travelling to film it. Let us know in the comments who you want to see next up on the Tough Table Challenge.

Humbled but often feels the need to point out what he did to whom just to make an impression (like the left handed shot on the yellow story in this clip). Can't help it not being a fan. Don't see him on top foe long just because he isn't dedicated enough.

thank you Mr. Hendry. would love to see the Spaceman on the show one day, the panache level will be thru the roof
Watching Brecel miss easy shots really made me feel a lot better about my own game lol. Happens to the best of us.
Luca, Ronnie, Judd, Selby, Hendry, Higgins, Robertson, Ding has made snooker worth watching for me through my grown up life. Ty for this channel❤
Get "Break from life" on please, Stephen!
When we getting a john higgins frame video
This is one of the best channels I know of. It makes me realize that my love for snooker isn't as much about the actual sport as it is about the personalities and the history - the drama of it all. Listening to Stephen having conversations with these legends of the game while playing a casual round builds such a fantastic web of context around this sport and its history. It makes me appreciate the sport even more. Thanks!
I always say I’ll try this challenge next time in the club. I would probably end up getting one!😂😂 I like Luca’s carefree attitude

I miss so many easy shots after playing for years. When I see the world champion miss some easy ones here, I feel a bit better about myself 😂😂
Great lads Luca & Stephen
Looking forward to this!
Love watching the tough table challenge, but what I would really like to see is the return of Make or Break from that certain snooker game show, In fact cant we just please petition to get the show back and have you host it would make my day to see it return.

I love he doesn’t care about everything and just gets on with it. I agree with him about films. Most films just bore me to tears.
Four attempts😂
Stephen, I love your channel, groundbreaking and so great for the promotion of snooker! I’m fae Dunblane! Let me offer my some respectful humble advice - I think the tough table challenge will have more value if you don’t speak to them for the few minutes they try. You have plenty of opportunity to interview them outside of those few mins. It will give us the viewers the opportunity to possibly see them fall into the ‘zone’ and maybe even beat your score! I know you likely can’t bear the thought of any of them beating your score (hence the competitive legend that you are), but I think the chance of seeing some real impressive (undistracted) snooker, outweighs that surely!
Absolutly Love this Challenge its Not Easy to.Clear this Table Set Up, lot of working the Cue Ball.
That was fun to watch. Thanks Luca and as always thanks Stephen.
Luca is a fantastic player but with zero pressure on his mind to win. Which is the best thing to have to play freely like he does. Best of luck Luca. A fan from Pakistan

The.professionals make themselves have easy shots. Positioning is all that matters.
Ronnie needs to have another go at this! I honestly think he’s the only person who could clear the table
Loving this channel 👍👍👍
I feel like giving 3 goes suits the challenge more. There's a phrase in Chinese literally meaning no more than 3 times, which is the same as the 3 miss rule. Plus, the length of the part would be a few more minutes longer, which could be more satisfying as the channel only uploads one time during the weekend, which is really a long wait for us fans. So hoping it could be a bit longer since it's really tough even for professionals, but still excellent and pleasure to watch the interaction between the legend Stephen and other players.
We all get obsessed about tip, size, brand soft medium etc etc the world champion doesn’t give a 💩 and knows what’s on the end of his cue, that’s hilarious and shows we shouldn’t too

I love how Stephen always throws shade on Steve Davis!
Late notification for me 😂
6:51 my favorite player, too!
You've got to have Jason Shaw on the show!
Hendry's next book title "If I Was In Commentary"
I think the key to beat Hendry's record is to try to clear up the topside of the table first, the most difficult ones are the 4 reds on long side of the tb, so i think starting with the only 2 red in the open is a mistake. Those two balls should be use as a back up when u try to cannon out the 2 reds closest to the blue. That way u always have a shot on the 2 open reds with different angles to manoeuvre the cueball. The 3 reds shouldn't be a problem for these pro's since it's a big target to cannon into.
@captainrocket7187
7 ай бұрын
exactly my thought. maybe the pros are too accustomed to the habit of leaving the top side reds at last before clearing up the colour.
@PsychedeliKompot
5 ай бұрын
Same thought here as well, from a pool player mentality (altho also used to play Snooker). You'll wanna leave some easier spare reds on the table in a situation like this, since potting the reds is difficult and then getting onto more reds from the colours may not always be possible. Cannon the triple reds in the middle early, then leave any remaining center reds on there as long as possible.
The fact Luca world Snooker champion misses that first red shows you how hard this game really is.
I have no doubt that Luca will join the long list of one time only World Champions.

My feeling too. He absolutely deserved to win it but he was on the verge of going out at least 3 times. It depends on how he deals with the pressure of being a WC in the future. Its a different expectation. We all know the talent is there but winning multiple WCs is actually incredibly hard. Just ask Judd.

@@jackbuff_I Even if we assume that he is, indeed, "furthest away from being full of himself" (which many, not just myself, contest) ...the second part of your comment that me being glad he's failed means I'm full of myself is just illogical and lame. trouble with these guys, and Sean Murphy can be a bit similar, is they go into denial mode when they lose. "I wasn't even trying, I can't be arsed, it doesn't bother me" is how they defend losing, and it ruins their appetite. Losing becomes a habit as it's more comfortable than getting annoyed at yourself.
What a change and a relief it is to hear an interview with a world champion, who just plays the game without the usual neuroses of professional sports.
Not having Mark Selby on the board is a big shame🙏🏻
I would imagine that it's not that easy to wear the "World Champion" -robe. You need to win one tournament for the trophy and the title - which is obviously extremely hard. But for the next year at least most people will assume that since you are the World Champion you must be the best player in the world all the time - which is obviously almost impossible nowadays.
Lucky Brecel not so lucky today XD
