YOU Asked... RONNIE Answered!
Спорт
We received hundreds of questions for Ronnie O'Sullivan, so we took the best 20 and put them to him in this extended Quick Questions video. We covered the likes of Conor McGregor, Michael Jordan, Bugattis and the characteristics of a good cue. A real variety! Ronnie was on terrific form and this made for one of our favourite videos so far. Make sure you watch until the end to see the best of Ronnie!

Anyone else realised how good Stephen Hendry is as an interviewer? He's chilled and asks the questions very naturally. It's a different side to him that I think we all like. Even when he's playing a frame during an interview, he asks the right questions at the right time. Bravo

Players are also much more relaxed around him because it’s Stephen. A legend of their sport so they have a lot of respect towards him and know that he’s not a nobody basically. And defo right.. never knew Stephen was actually quite nice and fun to listen to. Always thought him and Steve Davis would be boring but I ended up liking them 2 the most.

We only really know Stephen as a fierce competitor who never gave anything away. Years of dominance made him seem very arrogant to us all but now he’s opened up and lightened up he’s shown his true self. A truly decent man and the finest pundit / commentator snooker has ever had. He’s also very funny and easy to like
Hendry quickly making one of the best youtube channels there is. Dude is a legend.

Unreal time
8:46 THIS is why he is calm and relatively sane now. He has trained himself to not get worked up about snooker, to not listen to the negtive thoughts in his head when he plays. If he doesn’t have quite the edge he used to, I’d rather he be happy. (He talks a lot about this in “Running.” It’s not well-edited but it’s fascinating.)
Yet another absolute gem of a video , Stephen the way you keep these videos so natural it makes them a joy to watch.

Stephen has the most important quality in an interviewer: genuine interest in the other persons answers.

the accolade of "being the greatest" can only be given to someone by others ( others like rivals who are or were also at the very top), not by oneself. claiming oneself to be the greatest has no actual merits. otherwise i could say that i am greatest snooker player ever and youd just have to accept it. the problem is to find others that strenghten my claim. even if ronnie had one more WC he still would say stephen is the greatest, because he cannot nominate himself.

I just love the dynamic between these 2 absolute legends of the game now. You can tell they have the utmost respect, admiration and genuine friendship between them. They just get on so well together and it’s obvious they really understand each other because they can share their experiences of winning so many world championships (14 between them so far) and understanding what drives them both on to achieve the heights in the game that they both have.

Love this channel, good job Stephen!
These two are brilliant. More please.
This is so good, thank you. It is such a good idea to have user questions and then to hear the two men who have been at the very top of the game is really interesting. Obviously most people will never be number 1 in the world at anything so to have an insight into what goes on in the mind and life of a world champion is interesting, and inspiring. I hope there are more of these kinds of interviews.
Simply amazing, thank you Stephen and Ron.
The chemistry is so good! We all know Ronnie and could have predicted many of his answers i guess but the way Stephen plays along with it and how relaxed he seems is just pure joy to watch!

just about the most repeatable action ever. Never twitched or sped up, whatever the pressure, and had amazing cue ball control. But he still missed, and chose some poor break building options.
so glad this channel is growing, gives me hope for the game
Wow- would love to see more sit down interviews not just on this channel but also on BBC coverage of the big tournaments. A really skilled interviewer, not patronising, doesnt take things too seriously. a great mix of snooker questions and snooker anecdotes but also random questions about life and things that fans at home like to find out about players. would be great to see more of these kind of interviews done by yourself, you have a knack for it
Would be great if this could be a regular thing, absolutely brilliant 👏

These two and Davis. I could listen to that for hours. The three of them discussing the game and all the nuances of it. I’d love that
can these 2 do a podcast together already. i'd listen to them chat on a daily. & they're right about what they say about snooker clubs. i loved going in my local one as a kid

Really like how these two get on and to see Ronnie just be Ronnie and look relaxed adds to the interview to gain a real insight into what he is really like away from the table 👍
As always enjoyed it Cheers
I just love the rapport between these you two lads, genuine champs with genuine respect.
Ronnie and Stephen are gonna have to work together more. They get on so well and Ronnie has nothing but respect and enthusiasm when talking to him which is not always the case. Brilliant again 👏
Ronnie is the most understated and down-to-Earth GOAT of a sport ever
one of the greatest excluding the obvious question from the list and the other greatest acknowledging this by replying at the last moment was awesome
I actually agree with Ronnie, Hendry is the GOAT. He DOMINATED the sport for an entire decade. Ronnie has equal/more wins centuries etc, but his career is also twice as long so...
Quality of the content, simply amazing
Brilliant pair of cue men
Awesome....could watch these two talk for hours

excellent. Lovethese candid interviews.
The respect for each other is beautiful, what a brilliant watch
Love listening to both of you G.O.A.T. 👊
I don't think Ronnie would do this for any other person in snooker. Shows me how much he respects hendry to do it, he doesn't do much else apart from sitting in the studio on Eurosport. Famously never involved in other stuff in snooker. 👍
love your channel, stephen.

Ronnie the best natural talent no doubt but 7 world championships in 10 years. Don't think that's going to be repeated in my lifetime. Absolutely love these 2 and it's a privilege to listen to both😀😀😀😀😀
Good to see you both
love these guys just can't get enough.
Only 9 minutes 😢😢😢 It's so good and thank you gents🙏
Equal amount of respect for both players!👏🏽 They have "both" done so much for the game of snooker & given us all so many memories over the years. A lot of people dont get Ronnie but having gone through mental health struggles myself i can relate therefore i understand. He is really a great guy just largely misunderstood. His running has helped with this in recent years just as cycling had helped me. If theres anybody out there really struggling with mental health then ide suggest you start excersise. Start off slow and build your way up. In running you get a thing called "runners high" the same for cycling. Its a feeling of great calm and peace after your workout. Not only that but your regulating all sorts of hormones in your body when you get fit. It just makes you a much more placid happier healthier person with a much better life expectancy Ciao👋🏼🤓👋🏼

When I was badly depressed in my teens and early twenties doctors always asked me if I exercised and I used to wonder what the hell they were asking me that for. It's only since I made the effort to try I realised the benefit. You genuinely feel better about yourself and more at peace with everything somehow. I try to swim and hike as much as I can now, it's better than any antidepressant out there. Anyone struggling I really recommend it, it might be hard to drag yourself out to do it but the feeling during and afterwards is so therapeutic and worth it 🤘

@@TheJayLordx exactly! The doctors are encouraged to put people on medication 💊 as they're pushed by big pharma when really our bodies can heal themselves. During exercise your body released dopamine which is the feel good chemical that is released when taking certain "party" drugs. It releases and regulates all sorts of endorphins and hormones around the body. It is important to remember that you can have too much of a good thing and some people end up over training. Everything in life is about balance. As one gets older you figure this out. I have fallen off the wagon a bit myself. I fell very ill during covid in 2021 and the last two years has been hell. Its time I started to look after myself with a little more intent. It's never easy to drag oneself out of that dark place but once u do things drastically change for the better. Hope your doing well.👍🏼

Love them both but at their very best I’d have to give it to Hendry if they played each other in their pomp purely because of his long potting and relentless break building machine like play which is unmatched since and I doubt it will ever be done again what he did in the 90s but as for natural talent and outrageousness then that goes to Ronnie, either way they’re both the greatest in their own right!
We all dream to be even a quarter as good as these lads
This is brilliant channel. I can't think of what else to say to defend that statement and not denigrate the official snooker channels. But, this format, Stephen. It's top.
I don’t watch snooker these days but I love Stephen Hendry, such a nice guy. Netflix need to do a documentary on him.
Ronnie at his absolute brilliant best vs Stephen when he was in his pomp, an unbeatable machine. What a match that would have been, i can't call it
