I totally agree that Michael Holt is a brilliant potter. He's shown that in both videos. That long red at 09:44 was top-class. A clue as to why he hasn't done better is in his long video where he admits getting nervous. So, as well as being a coach himself, he'd benefit from one himself who could help him with that part of his game. I think it'd make a huge difference. Ding is another player who should've won more. Once players get to a similar level, it's things like mental resilience and control that differentiate them. Probably why White never beat Hendry in the finals.

Both brilliant efforts. No "two goes"? Or were those the best of the two. Either way, really thought Barry had it, and Michael's long red was sublime.

Barry was really close. If he hadn't have twitched he'd have probably cleared up. Hitman had been preparing for that by talking all the way through his frames with Stephen before. He knows Hendry's tactic of putting people off.

I don't think Stephen is a fan of the channel. Stephen suggested that in an earlier video with Holt: that there are lots of snooker channels that over-coach, put too much thought into unimportant stuff, like stance.. Putting tape on the ground to know where and how to stand, and putting marks on the table to set up shots the same every time... I think Break from life is one of such channels.

When he did the tough-table he had the reds about a foot out from the cushions, I’m not sure he’d cope with Steve’s set-up where they are actually pretty tight.

Hi Stephen, I know this might sound controversial to some, but could you get the man with the rolls royce cue action to attempt the tough table challenge? I would love to see one of the class of 92 that never gets mentioned attempt it. 👍

On the surface, Hendry might sound supportive but he is willing every shot to stay out of the pocket! He's going to cling to the record for dear life. If some player gets to 83, Hendry will probably start battle rapping.
