    I remember when I was a child playing chess someone once said to me that if you can play really well, even though there are distractions around us, then when it comes to competitions you will be so used to the slightest distraction that you can ignore it and continue playing as if nothing has happened. The same goes for snooker

    @@marrs1013 Tbf, Kyren was talking of his own volition through that last shot he missed. Stephen was being quiet and Kyren kept chatting away while on the shot.

    Loved Stuart's performance here, his shot selection and execution. Kyren's was awesome too, was sure he was gonna miss a couple but I was surprised!

    Guess you denied them a second attempt or it was nothing to write home about? Si Jiahui would be great on this. Won't be able to understand Stephen so he can just concentrate on potting.

    I am totally in awe of this channel. It’s improved my understanding of the game, no end. So, I’m thinking, yeah I get it.     How about we incorporate this in all the matches: just two blokes bantering all the way through the frames. Distraction and all allowed. What a blast it’d be! Great series Stephen and you’re still King on Top. But I think it’ll become a great quest for all your colleagues to beat you at it, then to make a century and ultimately score that first 147 on the ttc. Who’s it gonna be?

    7:08 - Kyren states that John Higgins is the toughest player he's ever played. 9 months later he (12th seed) meets Higgins (13th seed) in the 2024 World Championships quarter final. Kryen won 13 - 8 and looks like he will win it. As I write this, he is 7 - 1 up to the world number 44 Jak Jones after the first session of the final.

    Cloths don’t last long 😂 In the Bar Billiards world, the cloth on a competition table will go for a couple of years or more; until the nap is all gone and it’s virtually bald!
