Higgins at 4:40 needed that red to keep a possible 147 break going, that's why the crowd and other player reacted so well to it.

i dont understand why people say balls along the coussion are nearly impossible, theyre my favorite and if the angle is below like 88 degrees its doable. my mate fumes when i make them but its just simple down-side effect place it just next to the ball you're hitting against the coussion first and they're pretty doable, maybe i just have a nack for them but the moment at 2:11 is almost a sure thing on a pool table ( yea i said it )

If I am not mistaken, the red that Murphy potted which was just past the centre pocket from baulk off the opposite cushion with RHS is a mirror image of one that the late Alex Higgins potted into the opposite centre pocket with LHS in a match some thirty odd years ago.

Actually most high ranking players can make Judd's deep screw shots. They don't because their balls are significantly smaller than Judd's...... But most people love watching snooker because of players who dare, not because of players who play safe!

Don't think you've been watching snooker for long enough. Quite inappropriately overconfident to call it "definitely" a fluke. In fact, it definitely was not, but then again that doesn't mean he would get it even 5/10.
