Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve read some of those before and the people who write them seem to think that constant twists = good writing

I love how in the Julia story, the wife doesn't re-record her voicemail to cover her tracks, and the people that made it don't even try to change up the audio between the wife and the employee, so it sounds like they're both trying to make sure they're heard on the voicemail which is just a hilarious image and makes me think that the wife gave it away deliberately

...you can tell I used to work in finance because my first thought was, "wow, I wonder why the kidnapper chose the exact amount that requires reporting the transfer to the government"?

Always waited for someone to call out the bullshit that happens on snap stories cause not only are they stupid they often just spread lies and misinformation that young kids will actually believe. There’s nowhere to contest this or let people know and comment or report either

Snap is also dangerous on even more levels. There are apps out there that let you see and text private accounts, and one of my friends was targeted by some guy who tried to catfish her, and when that didn't work, he made threats to her. She got scared and deleted her Snap. It's crazy that Snapchat has barely any kind of security at all, and that even private accounts can end up being harassed in this manner.

Edit: I know that it's a fake story, guys. It very obviously is a fake story. I was trying to point out another stupid thing about the writing, by asking leading questions. I am also aware that parents can kidnap their children, but they don't usually tie them up in their car trunk when that happens? The kid likely trusts their parent, they don't have be tied up.

Yeah I’m pretty sure that this still counts as kidnapping. I think there’s a statistic out there that says that a majority of child kidnappings in the US are done by one parent to remove them from the custody of the other. Legally what’s happening in the short is very real kidnapping, just ask for a divorce ma’am and don’t commit a felony.

This is the one app i always found redundant and wondered why people used it and refused to use it even in the initial days.

I tried watching their show “transformed” cuz I like seeing makeup before and after videos. It was 3 minutes long but took 10 minutes to watch because of all the ads every 20 seconds.
