I don't see the point of having a big house with 11 bedrooms. I'd legit just be scared of all the emptiness. Smaller, cozier houses are WAY better.

It'd be more understandable for a very old mansion or estate or villa or what-have-you, the kind where live-in servants were expected and necessary. Or if you were planning on housing a large, extended family, or a bunch of your friends. But for just a nuclear family? Nah. Unless you have some other plans for that space, it's really excessive. I'd have connected some of them up and built some big rooms which you could do something cool with, like building massive train-sets or LEGO creations with your kids, or something equally fun and space-consuming.

I’m so confused how someone with a home gym, who seems to regularly use it, can complain about stairs. Like, hitting the gym every day is fine, but *walking up stairs* is too much effort? My building doesn’t have a gym, the stairs ARE my gym!

After working non-stop on the like, 15 tiles to do the floor in my tiny bathroom, I had to pull two consecutive all-nighters to finish in time for the realtor valuation and photos at the end of the two weeks I allocated to get it done by. On the plus side, I no longer felt annoyed at myself for previously just paying to get the rest of the house done at what I'd thought was probably too much to justify when I should have done it myself. Think about it, if someone is a centipede, then "not that many shoes" could mean 100 shoes. Only a centipede would complain about the SMALL things. Because centipedes are small! And the reason he's disconnected from his fanbase is because a centipede wouldn't know how to connect to humans.

omg I'm 20 y/o, also in college and I just moved to a two bedroom apartment (with a friend of mine, no way I would be able to afford it alone, yikes) and I didn't remember how nice it is to have a bedroom since I lived in a studio apartment before this. It isn't huge BUT it is cozy and just enough space for two people. It's actually almost 150e/month cheaper for me to live in this place with a friend than it was living alone in the tiny one room studio. Also, I would like to mention we split the costs 50/50 and I don't technically pay any rent from the money I make at work since the government supports students very well in my country (I get around 570e per month from the government in the form of financial aid and housing benefit, slightly more than I make at work usually. My half of rent is around 350e.) I'm aware I am very priviledged. Moral of the story is, if you have a friend you can survive wíth and you both have jobs, finesse that relationship and live good, because two paychecks is more than one Sorry for any spelling mistakes, English isn't my native language.

My family moved once when I was 6, and that was really traumatic for me and my 8-year-old brother (he'd also been through an different move when he was about 2). Ive moved around a lot as a child, already from I was 4 and never thought it was traumatic. Although I was sad that my parents divorced for a while and wanted the whole family gathered (but realize later that wouldn't be the best). You sorta just get used to moving in my opinion, but the circumstances around it can matter. But maybe it happening earlier first time for me made it easier to adapt. Another issue is maybe do they actually have the main focus in life or raising their children and give them a good upbringing, or does it turn superficial focusing mainly on their internet fame and luxury?

It's sad really. The house looks like every other 'rich modern house' on the planet. Bland white with granite and wood finishes. Houses are supposed to feel welcoming, not like a museum where you would be berated for accidentally touching a painting hanging on the wall.

Was just thinking the same. Actually wouldn't want to live there and could feel much more comfortable with a house 1 tenth of the size that have more color and decor, soft surfaces and not as wide open. Very large house sizes are just for bragging rights (I get not wanting to live outright cramped and having some space for your stuff), not needed for actual life quality. But getting to choose your house exactly as you want it, that is definitely a luxury

The thing that annoys me the most is that rainforests in Brazil are being burned down, most likely illegally started by farmers so that they can get more farmland, glaciers in Greenland are melting, and rich people everywhere are still wasting their time and money on every conceivable trivial thing while the poor and normal people out here have to deal with the encroaching apocalypse.
