That low still camera shot as the trucks spread I to formation is one of the best shots in my opinion, just beautiful camera placement.

Pretty damn sure I've seen this movie since before I could even properly talk or walk, but even after two decades the scene where the trucks spread up around Snowman still gives me goosebumps.

I still love seeing this movie when it is on TV as my step dad was a stunt driver in the big chicken fight. He was the canadian cop with his ass on fire "For Real" and they left it on film

@@dariusthedmirconsolidation3494 Don't know how you came to that conclusion, I know for a fact my 6NZ550 Twin turbo Caterpillar is allot more powerful than just 3 times of a conventional motor vehicle I'm only pushing 631 HP to the wheels but torque has alot more to do with power than horses.

2:17 They didn't even try to hide the way they did the stunt. Both the little wheel and cable were in the frame/picture. haha They could of at least hung a muffler or something in front of that little third wheel but they knew it was funny and actually it does make it even funnier that you can see that wheel and cable. They didn't bother to hide anything. A lot of the cars didn't even match at 5:31 Then 4:55 you can see the camera in the reflection of his eyes. Jeebers it looks like they had a lot of fun shooting and doing this part of the movie. This and the Blues Brothers. Two of the all time best. Oh wait one more, Vanishing Point was another good one and for all the young guys out there. There is one scene in the movie you will love in Vanishing. :) ha-ha

the first one was great the second one was ok the third was terrable I have to say this was the best scene in all of the movies

killer 360​​​ In the very end when Jerry playing Bandit has the new style Trans Am flooded and it won't start Jackie walks up says I gotcha ya..and it is Burt in seat as Bandit Jackievthinks he caught him..But then Burt says OK fair is fair I guess chase over now go home to wife Willamena Ooof and Junior can be with Daddy Double Oof Jackie cringes and chase on and gives him15 min head start...Burt did it as a favor to the late stuntman/ writer director Hal Needham..He was making other movies but agreed to cameo. They were together 10 yrs off and on making movies with car stunts W.W. & The Dixie Dance Kings, White Lightning, Gator, Hooper and the 2 Smokey movies. And Cannonball Run the 2nd came after Smokey III.

FunkyDPL. Speaking of the Blues Brothers check out 4:05. The only Dodge Monaco in amongst all the Pontiacs! I guess the Pontiacs were not up to the job when it came to the car transporter jump.

This is my favorite scene 🎬 from Smokey and the Bandit 2. I was only 11 years old when the movie 🎥 came out and I loved the movie since then.

if you pause the video at 1:25 mark...as Cleatus is talking I see a face reflection on the roof of the cab just above the window.... must be the camera man or a Ghost in the cab with Cleatus because it's not his reflection. and the face is looking at him.

I saw this movie in my child hood, I remembered all the movie but this clip was the most favorite and printed on my heart still .... A master piece for all time ever green movie..... Respect from Lahore Pakistan....

being honest i think a fair few cars that were squashed by the trucks probably were remote controlled but the scene where the cop cars were in the heap at the end looks like scrap heap challenge

Back in 1998, Universal gave us Black Dog, which is a trucker movie starring the late Patrick Swayze. Fun Fact: Patrick Swayze actually was a trucker in real life.

and on this day in history not one single fuck was given.

yeah, two days ago i saw a Peterbilt 283 *the big boxy truck* but i only saw it for like a quick second after passing by but i did not catch it ;( i begged my dad to go back but he was like "HELL NO" i have been hunting for that truck for over 1.5 years! #DreamsCrushed

One of the few movies that was just as good as the first!!! It was hilarious and snowman just made it that much better with this scene!!!
