Keith David and the actual design got so wasted A detective obsessing over an urban legend with his broken psychology making him question whether he’s real could be a fun Slasher with psychological elements

I don't understand why Shane did and said some extremely twisted, gross and incriminating things, made one fake apology with nothing really proving him innocent and everyone with smashed together makeup for brains (the beauty community) just forgave him and brushed it off somehow

The fact that this movie unironcially thought you could make the phrase "I did it for the lulz" sound creepy and ominous kind of makes me fall in love with it.

I can, Tobuscus seems like a pretty solid guy with a lot of demons (I.E. potential issues with drug abuse) but I really don’t think he’s ever hurt anyone, I mean the allegations don’t really add up, it’s weird.

The bit about the useless, fake deep convos and the “did it for the lulz” had me losing my breath

They chose, out everyone, shane dawson to be the moral guy who doesn't like edgy humor. Even without the allegations against him now, he was still making those sorts of jokes back then.

It really doesn't make sense, either. The DMs are the ones in charge of the game, they're like Gods that design the environment, other people the characters interact with,, monsters, etc. Realistically, Binder (Sweet Jesus, that name is terrible) could just join a campaign and that DM can make a Princess NPC for his character. But I know he's actually referring to not being able to get a real girlfriend, which is where this scripted line falls apart.

I still lean towards him just having super edgy taste in humor back in the day (a lot of us did) and making jokes that went too far/didn’t hold up. I still remember watching the “I checked my analytics and I have a lot of sex offenders so eat a cocktail weenie please” bit, and it was pretty funny at the time, still a pretty solid joke when delivered well, but having her eat one on camera is a bit much. I don’t know the whole context of the “she was sexy” line, so I could be completely wrong, but could he have meant that she was *sexualized* instead of *sexy*? Could’ve been a Freudian slip

Asking a 15 year old to twerk on camera, kissing an underage girl, those creepy videos with his 12 year old cousin, those all happened too. He doesn't deserve any more chances at all. And I'm not even going to get into it about the terrible racism and dehumanizing of black people, or his conduct towards animals.
