@@VancityAudi what have you found to be most effective? As you are building boost to get a good launch, the tires eventually start to spin. I usually try to prevent that and let go of the brake just before the tires spin. Is it simply a matter of continuing to hold the brake and gas to spin the tires more just before you actually attempt to hook up? Should traction control be completely off for the burnout as well as the actual launch attempt? I guess my question really is what did to say to @Need 4Built? Thanks for your help and willingness to share your expertise.

Need custom tuning and a full E85 (but the good race E85 you order in a 5gal can) option. Could easily beat that record again.

These SUV's can not run straight E85 on the current fueling options with a TTE810. Custom tuning has also not been proven to go any quicker or any faster.

Custom tuning unfortunately hasnt proven to be better on the B9 Platform. However with some fueling upgrades, better track prep, and better weather temps... it's all possible.

How often you need to replace Motor and transmission mounts ?

I’ve upgraded those to solid 65 durometer rubber mounts. They will never tear or break. But I’m working on getting some billet mounts.

Congrats!!! I have few questions: 1. how do you do a burnout on them? If I simply launch my car while on DR2s they just dont slip enough to make a "burnout" 2. how much PSI did you use on the dr2s?

@@sergius1298 easy to test on a road one night to practice, just get a buddy or u can do it ur self poor half a bottle of watter on one side where the tires will go thru and the other half in the other and pull up past the water a few feet and floor it or build a lil boost and floor it, easy to test it out

Not a dumb question. Probably not at all but I like your idea of finding weight reduction even where it might not matter. But i believe every single pound counts. I’m already running lightweight studs that are lighter than the oem lug nuts to answer your question. 👍🏻

It was. Ac was on, fuel cut in first gear, 80F… could’ve used a little more weight reduction. Just insane that I even went that fast 😂

I agree. Time to dump more money and add more power plus figure out a way to lose more weight. Lol. Taking off the hood would be great I’m sure but that would cause more drag. I think the something is a carbon fiber hood but nothing on the market yet.

What was the reason for switching from IE to 034 tuning?

Possibly more aggressive then, IE is very conservative.

Good question! 034 is promising built motor support with hardware and tuning. IE hasn't leaned that way yet. Also 034's B9 tcu tune has amax in 4th and 5th gear resulting in a quicker 60-130 time and ET.

How'd you do the burnouts?

Drive through the burnout box. Get your rear wheels lined up with the water line. Launch the car and then slam on the brakes. That’s the basics.

@@Need4Built I’m only stage one, walking your direction, you’re already beyond my 3 yr build plans. I’m planning to rock the 5W/20 HPS RP, not as good yours but royal purple hopefully cleans it out.z 5W 20 still better than water 0W/20 that’s for sure Northern Europe weather oil.

Might pick up a hundredth or two if u turn the AC off

Not a 9 yet. Gained an extra 2mph in the 1/4. 60-130 went from 7.1s to 6.7s. Oh well. Hopefully you still enjoyed the video. 😀

034 ..LMAO .that's a ticking Time Bomb ..I'd rather be a second slower and stick with a company that don't lie about " Just Put your car back to Stock and Audi Can't mess with your powertrain warranty .... Been W Audi for Oh 26 years , and I have seen people in tears thinking they can just re flash back to stock Meanwhile Audi can see every parameter Ever exceeded date and time ; fuel, timing, top speed, Rpm , boost and on and on .. they should seriously delete or re word that video its a disgrace ... I'll stick W APR .

You do realize that if anything goes wrong with your powertrain while using an APR tune you're just as f$cked right? Unless of course you're using their APR Plus tuning solutions in which you'll have to use their limited warranty to have something repaired.... Also a second slower in an SQ5? Sick! Do you have a KZread video or social media post of your SQ5 running an 11.1 on APR software? I'd love to see that!
