They have been a total GAME CHANGER! Both the storage bins & ButcherBox 🤗

You did an amazing job. Our kitchen looks nice, but the space design inside is a nightmare. We only have three drawers - one for utensils, one for flatware, and one under the wall oven for towels. Add to this a husband who buys a lot of stuff, from food to cookware, and it's a nightmare to fit things inside. Your freezer organization is wonderful. We had one of the French door fridges until it died and I bought a side-by-side because I find it easier to store food, but I still use freezer bins. Organizing containers make a huge difference.

💛 I’m just so thankful to longer be in that position.

I am in the process of sorting out my 2 large chest freezers. During lockdowns in Melbourne Australia I cooked and froze food and bought meat non stop. For the past 5 weeks we have just been working our way down one meal and one meat pack at a time. I have re invented some meals and just thawed and cooked others. I’ve only just started because we were out of the country for 5 months. Most of the cooked meals were rice dishes that needed thawing and then further cooked in the oven so I haven’t done much cooking from scratch unless I put chicken wings or thighs in the oven. I have maybe two more weeks of this and then I will use your tips and methods going forward. I label and date the cooked dishes and some were dated April 2020 😂 and they were ok. Thank you for this video. Oh, I also saw one KZreadr used a small scoop and brush for her kitchen counters so that should be handy in freezers.

This kind of organization definitely doesn’t allow for too much stockpiling, but it’s so much easier & less stressful to keep up with 🤗 I think it’s a fair trade-off.

@@lovinglifeasmegan I’ve learned my lesson, though my freezers are big. But I will definitely use your basket method because you are right, things get lost. That’s why I had cooked food that was so old because I forgot they were there.

I recently did the same thing with my cupboards and drawers, was hard work but soooooo satisfying in the end! One thing I'll add is that if you can try to use the same containers for each section, it'd look more neat and uniformed. 💖💖

I also have very little cabinet space, and VERY small drawers, my measuring cups and spoons would just be all over the place, so I added some command hooks to the inside door one of my cabinets( I used a bottom cabinet door that my pots and pans are in) and hung them there, worked out great! I did the same for my collander( I have a collapsible one)

It looks so good! I need to go through my drawers. I only have two, I have a tiny galley kitchen and they replaced my original cabinets with 3 drawers when they put in a dishwasher, but the one is just stuffed full of utensils. I might get a stacking organizer for my pantry to put some stuff in.

It is absolutely worth every single penny for us! In our local stores the cost of meat has been through the roof! We’ve also been seeing a lot of meat scarcity/shortages, especially with chicken. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to the store with a certain cut of meat on the list and can’t find it, so I have to substitute with something that ends up being more expensive. ButcherBox is worth it just for the peace of mind for me. I know I can get exactly what I want for a fair price.

Nice video but for my spices i used the lazy susan it works so much better just one spin and i can see and reach everything

Everything except the bottles in the middle 😅 I’ve tried a lazy susan before and it just made a mess, knocking bottles over to get to the middle, or letting the middle expire because it was too much of a hassle to get to.

I can also relate to your struggles we are stronger together

I struggle to keep my freezer organized also. I have the same style fridge. This was absolutely inspiring. Food prices are horrible. I buy groceries every other week and it seems as though everytime I open my app to order, prices have gone up. I was going to buy crisco Oil and from 3.97 a month ago, to now 8.86. Ridiculous! I'm like sorry honey you're getting generic veggie oil lol. Thank you for today's video!

This system has been working out great for us so far! As long as we don’t overbuy it’s super easy to keep up with. & I know what you mean about grocery prices! Chicken, eggs, and produce I’ve especially noticed has gone up like 500% compared to this time last year!

The kitchen came out great so did your frezzer. Thanks for the code but i have way to many allergies with food I don't think I'll try it. If you know someone that can take that drawer out of your cabinet and just take a half inch off of each side or less it will open easier without hitting the stove. 🤗

Shaving down the sides would not look right for the drawer. We’re just waiting until we can renovate and then we’ll tweak the layout and get new cabinets.

I love butcherbox we have been ordering over a year and it's awesome. I love the sales. I make a list of everything we have in our inventory and cross it off when item is used. I am due for a cabinet maintenance you video definitely motivated me to get it down. Have you tried the Siete taco seasoning in mild? I also wanted to say if I didn’t already in a comment- that it really hit home when you said you have a lot of anxiety about financial survival and food. I do too and it was just reassuring to me that I’m not the only one. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately and although it’s a sad subject, it made me feel better that it’s not just me.

None of these “small kitchen” organization videos ever have a truly small kitchen 😢
