🍓🍇 I love just about all fruits but grapes and strawberries are my fav...I was once homeless so I totally get the emotions that take over when you're blessed to have an abundance...every time I thought pops in my head that "I don't feel like cleaning" I immediately start giving thanks for having a place to clean and the same with food...I give thanks for it all because there was a time when I didn't have...your voice is so soothing and I just love you and Derek ( not sure of the spelling lol) for sharing your lives with us...you have been a huge inspiration to me and I have gotten my home organized following you...please continue to share your content with us and know that if anyone has a problem with how you are doing things the real issue is within themselves and not with you...Megan you are amazing!!!! 🥰

I was recently homeless with my daughters living in a DV shelter. We absolutely feel blessed and happy to be in our own apartment now and love our life! ❤️ blessings to you!

I love grocery restocks. It's honestly one of my favorite kind of videos. I love seeing how everyone stores their food and organizes things in their kitchens. I've been getting more from Target myself. It makes it so much easier when I need something to just get it there with pick up. 🍎

I feel the same way when I see a full fridge and pantry. I struggled at one time too, to have a home and provide for my children. It is a blessing to be able to feed my family now, to have our own home and not struggle. For those that are struggling, my prayers are with you and better days will come. I don't think that you were bragging at all Megan, nor am I. It's just We've been there. Love your videos!!! My favorite fruit is watermelon and my favorite vegetable is broccoli with cheese.

Fun fact: when I was younger I used to suck my thumb, and adults would think they’re funny constantly commenting “that thumb must taste good.” So I would say “yes, it tastes like broccoli with cheese.” 😂

🍓🍋🍍 couldn’t choose just one 😂. I just adore you. I love that you don’t take anything for granted. We struggled with money when I was a kid as well but I luckily didn’t know my parents did EVERYTHING to make sure we were blissfully unaware, which I am so grateful for. I know not everyone has the ability to stock their homes with food like this and we have to count our blessings more often. Thank you for point that out, and the encouragement to those that are struggling, especially now, things are ridiculously expensive and it’s hard. ♥️

Hi Megan, yes I always feel good when my shelves & frig are restocked even at 72yrs my children & grandkids all grown & not close by. I wasn't homeless but had few scares, so I appreciate all that we have now. Magan I love how you shelves are organized. I just started using the cereal containers I really like them. My husband does too! Back when I had my 4 kids it wouldn't of worked. With the 4 of them eating 2& 3 bowles of cereal a day it just didn't make sense then. But now it works fine. Thanks for letting us into your home & showing even the dirty dishes in the sink. I have done that too! Go shopping & not clean the kitchen before! Have a great week! ♥️

🍇Growing up on a grape farm, I learned that grapes were the most delicious. Right now it smells like grapes (Concord & Niagara) throughout the whole area. Since moving away I miss harvest time so much - working with my family on the grape picker & tractors to get everything to Welch's!

Nobody should be judging your grocery choices! Shame on them if they do. We do a mix of convenience snacks for school and then fresh produce at home during dinner, night snacks, etc. Mommas need some grace sometimes! Love the grocery videos. Fun to see new items and get ideas!

My twin boys are going to be Jack from Nightmare before Christmas and the other will be a ninja . They are twins but their personalities are totally different hence the totally opposite costume choices LOL! 🍒

There is just something satisfying about a stocked pantry & fridge. With the uncertainty of the world now, and people's past lives, it always seems to make me happy, and others as well. Something simple, but gives a lot of joy! We were at a place when our kids were little that we did not know week to week if we would be able to buy any groceries!! It's the worst feeling ever! Now that they are all adults and have babies of their own, I still grocery shop like they live with me, and they know if they are ever hungry, all they have to do is come home!! ❤️❤️. Of course we have family dinner nights 1-2 nights a week so nothing goes to waste, but this is definitely my love language!🥑🍋🥦🥔🍉🥒🍌🍓🍎

Yes! Sometimes it’s all about convenience

As long as Sawyer is eating something, I wouldn't worry about it. My nephew was only eating peanut butter and crackers for two months, morning noon and night. We did take him to the pediatrician and were told not to worry. It's like us only wanting to eat fried rice for example.

When my nest was full, prepackaged snacks for lunches were a staple as I was a full time working mom who worked night shift at our local hospital. No shame in the game of convenience because, like the majority of moms, we make sure to balance those items with healthy and nutrient dense foods at home. And as a grandmother of 12, when the hoard invaded, you bet your bottom dollar that there are capri suns and junk snacks to help stretch out the fruits and veggies while they are all visiting! It’s about balance both in food and life in general. So be you Megan and ignore the judgements that will most likely show up. And FYI- my kids and grandkids are and have always been healthy even eating some junk because of the balance and also because they have and we’re kicked outside year round to get a healthy dose of sun and dirt vs sitting in front of a screen all day 😉

I was thinking the same think… it’s sad she needs to put that… I have a very picky eater and he eats lots of that stuff it’s better than him not eating at all and I’m not going to force him to eat something he doesn’t like… when he gets older I’m sure he will want to try other things

Nope, I don’t have a Costco membership. ☺️ we don’t really have the storage space necessary to shop in bulk

I love watching restocks so much! I'm dealing with a bit of food insecurity due to inflation and having to be on a medically necessary gluten free lifestyle (a loaf of bread that maybe makes 5 sandwiches that are half the size of a normal sandwich costs $10.00 and half the time the bread is so holey its not usable for a sandwich. My son and I both have celiac disease so we both have to eat gf which was already expensive before inflation but way worse recently. I'm only able to eat once a day so my son can eat 3 meals and 2 snacks. I still enjoy seeing what other people buy for their families despite my own struggles. I've been through this once before but its still frustrating and scary. We already know we can't afford Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, so for Thanksgiving if we can find stew meat at an affordable price we will be making a stew for our holiday dinner, probably do the same at Christmas too. His best friend spends the holidays with us because he has a bad situation with his family but a stew should feed both boys and myself. My birthday is coming up in a few weeks but we can't afford to make a cake this year or the chicken for our traditional fried chicken bday dinners but at least we will spend the day together which is the most important part for me. Anyway, despite these problems I am grateful for what we do have and I do enjoy watching food restocks because its so satisfying to see a full fridge even if its not mine. 🍓💛

Apparently there is some disease that has been killing chickens & affecting the egg supply for the last year…so that’s the cause of the astronomical prices & store shortages.

My children are grown but I would shop for the things they liked for school lunches and snacks at home, just like you. Never apologize for what you do for your family. I love to grocery shop ( by myself) so watching a haul is fun for me

We used to all shop together on Saturday mornings, but lately Derek & I have been making a date of it while the kids are at school. It’s much more fun to surprise them with their favorite things, rather than being bombarded in every aisle with a “can we get…xyz!” 🤗

We love taquitos ! Which is your favorite ? I love the southwestern chicken one.

We usually just get the chicken & cheese because it’s not too spicy & the kids will eat them ☺️

🍍🍑 I feel the same exact way when we get to fill our home with food. We struggle most the time so it’s a huge weight off my shoulders & brings me so much joy to have a full fridge, freezer, & pantry 🥹
