Le secret de la crème glacée syrienne, c'est une fécule extraite de tubercules de petites orchidées sauvages que l'on trouve en Turquie et en Syrie. Cette fécule s'appelle salep et on peut en hiver déguster du salep chaud (lait épaissi avec du salep et sucré) accompagné souvent d'une sorte de brioche. C'est excellent et très nourrissant.

Hi Helene. I love your videos. I'm new to Quebec and notice that they use the expresion ĺà a lot. For example I've heard people answering in conversations: pas là (poh loh) What does it mean?

Hi! I'm happy you like my videos! "Pas là" can mean "not here" or "not now". In conversation, I think it's usually "not now". I hope that helps! :)
