    I’ve been running a slipper eliminator and a spool with good result. Things got difficult when I switched to a VXL system. Not being able to dial down your punch off the line puts a lot of responsibility on your trigger finger. It’s tricky, but worthwhile. You get less drivetrain loss and it teaches you to be a better driver.

    Did first run down a prepped track today in ocala. Cars ran straight for first time ever, but slow takeoff and lower top speeds. Gonna lock up slippers, turn up start power and grip and rip. 2.8s for all three cars. Not bad, but some guys are really fast.

    Hey Chad. Most races I been in the regular set up was the only way to race. I have a few and would love to try this set up when I get my new radio. Cool the numbers look better for ET times.

    Hey Chad. Good video. May i know what is the weight for your diff oil running with eliminator on? Seems that my car launches to the left when using eliminator with 500k oil.

  • @Dorkyand40

    @Dorkyand40

    I just run 200. Like mark vyne said he didn’t notice much after going that thick. Do you have an eliminator on there? Regardless I’d say you may be hitting to hard. Get that baby going out of the hole. Work on your 60ft and then worry about the rest. Also check your wheelie bar is not hitting if it’s not a shocked wheelie bar. Lots of little things to check :)

    @@Dorkyand40 okay. I guess i need to let the system compensate the inability to slip thru the clutch by putting a thinner shock oil. Ill test again by running with slipper clutch to test this theory. I use the non-shocked wheelie bar from DRC. Its kind of frustrating to be honest but ive seen someone having the same issue of the car moving to the left. On the other hand, do u play also with the toe of the rear wheel?

  • @Dorkyand40

    @Dorkyand40

    2 жыл бұрын

    No. Just run factory toe. Raise the bar and see if it keeps doing it. And just do a slow run and make sure your steering is trimmed. First thing i do when I show up.
