No Prep RC Drag Car Gearing Test! | How to Select RC Drag Car Gearing

Ойын-сауық

After finally getting my RC No Prep car launching straight and making consistent passes, its obviously time to start trying to go faster! Adding boost and turbo in the Tekin RS Pro ESC is one way of getting faster, but I have a lot of turbo and boost in the car already and want to try a few other things. One of those things is gearing. Gearing changes are an easy way to pick up some speed but you also have to watch out for temperature changes with gearing changes.
Today, I'm testing some different pinion gears on my car. Starting with the 20 tooth pinion that I normally run and the 81 tooth spur gear, I want to work my way up and see what kind of speeds I can get with a larger pinion. To test this, I'm not changing anything else. Leaving everything in the radio, in the esc, and the motor itself the same. I'm pretty happy with the results and what I learned and I hope you learned some stuff as well!
