Tuning my RC Drag Car to its Fastest Pass EVER!! | Maclan DRK Tuning Tips

Ойын-сауық

After making the first passes with the new Associated DR10M and getting the car going straight, it's time to start going faster!! I've gotten so many tips and tricks from you guys in RC No Prep Racing over the past couple years and I love passing them on to help others. Today we're tuning the Maclan DRK, going over my tune, and seeing how to tune.
I use a couple things to help me with tuning. Data is key and we can get it from the DRK itself using the data logs, as well as the GNSS Performance Analyzer. I'll go over how I use all of that information to tune the car to accelerate as quick as possible! I'm seeing some promising numbers, hopefully soon I'll be right with the rest of the pack!
Hope you enjoy the Video!

speed zone has a 1.5t motor. I’m sure the mmx8s could handle it. I think the drk and the 3.5t motor could prob go in the old car if you wanted to do a massive power upgrade. just a thought

  • @FullThrottleRC

I haven't had any experience with the Losi so I can't really compare them. I will say I don't believe they are completely comparable cause the Losi is a ready to run car, sort of aimed at helping people get started in drag racing. While the DR10M is more like a racers kit. Think Traxxas Bandit vs Associated B6 kit. Two nice cars but aimed at different markets.

I honestly think the car is heading right just because of the inconsistencies in the road. It's not the perfect place to test but it's the easiest I can get. The rpms nor the gs are varying around that point. One day I'll find a nice flat spot to test on for real
