Here in the US, with a plethora of firearms, people dont even think of this as the extremely lethal weapon that it is. It's also fast, silent and you dont run out of "ammo". You made a great video and thank you for taking the time to create and upload it for us. You are awesome.

Well this is something you can shoot inside city limits. I will always prefer a firearm for home self defence over something like this but this might be something a felon would probably want to use since they can no longer own a firearm. Just a thought....

@@LordHolley Yes, a sling will be more like additional skills and use it for small game. As far as felons are concerned, they are too dumb to know how to read or write. I doubt they will have the patience to learn how to use a slingshot. But they do complain for getting shot by the cops when they commit crimes because... racism!

I used one of these while squirrel hunting, managed to smack a squirrel at the base of a tree right in the chest, pinned him to the tree and he lasted maybe 5 seconds. I live in Ontario and you're allowed to hunt small game with literally anything minus a high powered rifle. I could go rabbit hunting with a throwing club if I wanted.

Love the channel and subscribed. From Canada. Cheers. I am relatively new to catapults but have a bit of an archery background. I'm looking forward to rediscovering the simplicity of the "catty." Very informative. I wouldn't touch the darts until I have brushed up a bit. Just waiting on my frame. Cheers from a Canadian of Irish extraction, born on March 17th. I'm not joking. Have you seen walking dead? There was an episode where Eugene sabotaged all the ammo which cause all the guns to explode. It is extremely rare to have a damage bullet explode a gun irl, but the point is is that any weapon will have risk. A regular slingshot and BB is the same risk, you can shoot into your hand. When making wood arrow for classic archery, they say make sure the grain goes a certain direction, because if the arrow breaks while shooting you can send splitters into hand, again very rare, but the point is still the same, there are risks. But being mindful lessons risks greatly. So practice!

@@MrOrigami yeah but with these one little slip up and it's in your hand vrs an arrow breaking. I'm am avid archery enthusiast I even make my own arrows I've never had one break coming off of the bow only when hitting a target or an object and I shoot heavy weight war bows 100lbs draw and up.

@@jrhamilton4448 A modern gun enthusiast can say the same thing. With the exception of the militaries new bullet in a polymer jacket. Any metal jacket bullet has a risk of exploding improperly in chamber, yet it is so rare, many would've never seen a failure like you with bow. But I'm positive at one point (after shooting over thousands of arrows) you may look at an arrow and say I don't think I should shoot this one safely. In my experience I've has a few arrows where I felt something off and discarded the arrow. And likely a shooter who has hand loaded a bullet must've thought at least once there's something wrong with this one after thousands. Also if you go the website listed in link the original sling limbs is you thumb and first finger knuckle even closer to your hand but its linked in a projective glove. The youtuber attached it to traditional Y sling, which I feel is safer than the original shown on the product website.

I just recently ordered a ten-pack tin of the sharp tipped darts from the nice bloke in China who makes and ships these. I live in the U.S., and they arrived rather quickly. Free shipping. Ten darts for $50 USD which included three latex rubber sling bands already pre-strung and a few paper practice targets along with it too. Not a bad deal. I've seen the all-steel fishing sling darts before many times, but never anything quite like Snipersling mini arrow darts. These are absolutely unique - and lethal looking. I look forward to trying them out soon. I will, however, be wearing some type of heavy-duty hand protection. I could easily see one of these beauties doing some real 'damage' to your hand if one should accidentally slip mid-flight.

The darts that this gentleman is using I would definitely not classify as any type of lawn dart. Is a hunting dart it just surprises me but you would not be allowed to use those to hunt. In America as long as you pay for a permit you can hunt pretty much with anything. From a rock, to a fully automatic silenced machine gun. If you pay for the permit and you are not a felon, you can do it... Just the way God intended. Lol

If I was about to starve to death, I'd do it anyway and damn the law! But in my opinion, the laws against hunting with arrows etc. are not in place to punish the hunter, but to protect the wildlife from "feral urban types" who have no respect for it. There are a depressing number of cases here of waterfowl (or people's pets!) turning up at vet clinics with wounds from crossbow bolts or slingshot balls inflicted by people who have no idea what they're doing and have no intention of butchering and eating the animal. Shoot safe, shoot legal, practice regularly, and then if the need to feed yourself becomes more important than the rule of law, you already have the skills you need instead of trying to learn them on an empty stomach. I'm crap with a slingshot but I'd love a set of these to play with - it might actually encourage me to put down the air pistols and practice more!

That's what I'm saying, it only takes but once. If the pointy dangerous part is in front of my hand game on, if it's behind my hand oh hell no!

Those practice tips don't sink as far into the targets. They're easier to pull out. Edit: for the inexperienced, it could save a trip to the emergency room and may only require a Band-aid™ until you get the practice they need to shoot more comfortably.

Great idea I was wanting to get into this but terrified ima mess myself up I’ll start with the metal balls first maybe then move on to the blunt one of these then the sharp ones but I think I’ll also invest in that little hand guard they have for it just for some peace of mind

@@dylanthompson869 I've seen. My toes curl up when I think about a dart getting lodged behind my thumb. Maybe get a built in quiver with that guard.or a magnet...

I don't feel safe with these even though I have the urge to try them, make my own from nails. Shooting your own hand is a risk, another risk is the notch getting snagged after release and flings back at me! This does happen when you flip with light bands + too heavy ammo. Someone shot himself in the middle of his chest with a heavy lead ball. Scary shit! Don't use flipping motion with these, just hold the slingshot steady
