My name is Chris, I'm a Catapult shooter and enthusiast. I enjoy competitive catapult shooting here in Ireland as well as travelling to England a few times each year to compete.
I also enjoy slingshot hunting but for good reason. All animals are eaten and nothing is wasted, I understand that not everyone will share or understand my view on this and I respect that, so please respect that it's a passion of mine and it isn't just for the fun of it. All animals are hunted for a good free range meal.
Please note I am very experienced with a catapult and it takes a lot of practice before you are proficient enough to hunt, the last thing anyone wants is to be wounding animals and hunting unethically. I hope you enjoy my channel if you do then please hit that like button, drop me a comment and subscribe. People often ask me where they can buy good catapults so I've listed some links below of my top recommendations.

Ive been shooting OTT with the wasp enzo, my ankerpoint is under my cheekbone, but i notice that when i shoot, it above the bullseye every time i aim with the corner of the fork, but i shoot center tho, but i need to aim a bit lower, is there something wrong with my stance or anker point? Hope to hear from you soon
Thank you. I learned a lot!
green all day long
My dad made me one but it’s made in wood and it is kind of confusing but I will see if this helps
Your advice could even be translated into regular life
Hi Chris, I've enjoyed watching your tutorials. Found the one on improving your aim particularly useful. I've been shooting for only a couple of weeks, and already I see an improvement. So far I've only shot 9.5mm clay, but now that I'm consistently hitting targets from 10m, I've bought 500 9.5mm steel. The bands that came with slingshot seem fine with the clay, but seem to just lob the steel ammo, as it travels at a much slower pace. It's too soon to start making my own bands, but watching this tutorial, I will have a look for the ready made .72 green band.
Beautiful
where did you buy the mould
Your anchor should be lower so you don't lose yer eye in case something fails on your setup for whatever reason. This way your bands snap back and hit your face/mouth area instead of your eye/nose/upper cheek area. 😵

When I was a kid, living in the country, we used to carry slingshots all the time, and hunt birds, we used to hunt fish in the sea with steel shot,* sometimes five or six boys all together shooting for a morning . . . Never even HEARD of anyone hitting their hand with a pellet. How could you?. It would seem like you would have to set the pellet in the cup off center by a large amount . . . which why would you ever do that, being perfectly centered is essential for accuracy. * We had access to some really cool pellets that were machine punchings from ten mil mild steel, so you ended up with a disk that was slightly curved, and about 15 mil around, we would fire four at once into the surface of the sea when there was a school of bait fish by the wharf. The shock would sometimes knock a couple of fish out, and you could dive in and get them. Not the most efficient way of catching bait.
Do this on a frameless sling shot
maybe you changed your manufacturing process now, but tumbling with stones or ceramic media would make for a smooth rounded finish with no work.
Tell me what machine I need to buy
@@CatapultCarnage search for "vibratory tumbler" or "rock polishing machine". since slingshot frame are pretty big item you need to find a big one. i am no specialist so i cannot help you more. i wish you great sucess!
Has anyone had any experience with the tuffty bands

Thank you sir God Bless
I'm left handed but my dominant eye is my right eye. I didn't know that was rare though. I probably do 75 percent of everything right handed. Except for writing, fishing and boxing. Thanks for the lesson man.
Thank You
I need one of those things 😂❤😊

Hi Chris. One of your videos from a few months ago, you were asking if new shooters were watching you, I am. Although I was shooting tube slings about 45-50 years ago, I am new to modern shooting. You were actually a random popup suggestion a few years back, but had a job and life change, never fully picked it up. So I have 2 questions. For OTT, are the bands supposed to roll outwards, inwards or does it matter. The slings I ordered from simple shot, came with .7 black for 3/8. Would it make sense to use a 3x ratio to start training, and then increase as I become proficient or should I just start with thinner bands? Thanks in advance, really enjoying your IQ video, keep up the great work🍻 Edit: Just happened to see one of gamekeeper John's band videos, and it looks like his ties to his pouch, are different for OTT and TTF so the bands are always flat. My pre-made set, is the way he ties for TTF, but I have them on for OTT. Does this make any difference?
very Cool bro. 😁👍
