When I heard “floating coffin” in 2014 it slapped me in the face in a way I haven’t felt since nirvana’s LIVE album “from the muddy banks of the wishkah”. Super raw sound but tight playing too. Loved everything they’ve put out since. The most recent album “face stabber” is really out there but enjoyable if you’re an oh sees head, so maybe not the place to start. Cheers.

first impressions.. amazing
It's like if a 70's Steve Hillage's band got a peyote session in Arizona with Kyuss and then figure out they're French

@@nicolaspetit6718well ok. you imagine.. i see.. but did they put in the work?? would they confidentally reply after two years and be sure about nothinbg ever being close to fractured personalities in their respective tribe as the ones they saw in "germany"? Well, anyone to go out there...in astralbodies... and... anyone else??
Thank you KEXP! 10/10 would listen again! SLIFT just straight up rock...like a three piece King Gizzard the Lizard Wizard.
I took a trip to the Galapagos islands in February of this past year. Ummon was the only album that I had downloaded. I absolutely fell in love with it and now every time I hear it, I am reminded of feeling like a pirate while holding onto the side of a boat island hopping in the pacific.

Saw them live, this friday, in Brussels. First live gig since Covid. As good as here!!!
Come for the music. Stay for the sick chops.
Great to see bands like this still exist - tremendous
The hook was *the attitude* they put in the first 30 seconds of the video.

Did could not possibly be cooler. These guys are just so inspiring and creative. This performance is instantly legendary.
who gives a shit what other bands Slift might sound like. they sound great on their own merit.
Holy crap. Why haven't I heard of these guys before? They're kicking some serious butt here.
had the chance to open for them in Brussels a few months ago. They're the sweetest people on earth. Actually like their guitar color, in french : des crèmes. So happy to see them buzzing atm

Their energy is so contagious. It's always awesome to see a bad that will go that extra mile, or at least show how much they love to play.
