This bassist is a monster. That moment when they let her out of the box at the 8:00 minute mark. Oh man. I had to go back and listen to it 3 or 4 times. The whole crew is fun, but that rhythm section is next level.

@@DioHard They intially had Tripping Party, by which I discovered them, on Spotify. Then I noticed it was removed. I asked them through Instagram why I can't find it on Spotify and this is exactly how they replied: "Hey! It's not on Spotify at the moment but it will be again when our album comes out. You can still find that version via our bandcamp". I received this message on March 8, 2020 though :/ So most likely same applies to other missing songs. But hey! It's been a year! I assume they could not release the album due to the difficulties caused by this Covid-19 shit!

Saw them live a few months ago supporting Mac DeMarco. Walked into the venue and remember seeing 3 or 4 of them all stand towards the front of the stage, all with fringes, all without bras, all smiling. Lots of 60s vibes, was kinda hypnotic,

I love how the band is clearly serious (execution) and loose (evidently having fun), all at the same time. And that rhythm change at ~ 13:54!!

They had me when the supremely talented guitarist started playing the bong drums.

All of the band members are solid but that bassist reallyyyyy stands out, such tight grooves and such sick lines and riffs! Lead guitarist has a wonderful sense of melody too, it can't be easy to create engaging instrumentals like this. Wish the keys were higher in the mix though.

Raw, unpolished art - no headphones, no stress, girls just play for fun, seems to me. I like it.

That sound! Kudos to sound engineers at KEXP. This is eargasm. Their recordings almost always sound better than the bands studio albums and any other live concerts. And thanks for aiding me in discovering a great band for the thousandth time!

@@f_r_e_d Yeah Warpaint is good, Fred. My son got hooked on them and showed me some of their videos. Just one big problem and it's unusual for an all-girl band, they suck when they're trying to harmonize on vocals. I'm not totally sure why, but even though they've put a lot of work into their playing...especially the drummer, the vocals are terrible!

Jesus that bass. The engineering on this is top notch.

There are a LOT of young musicians like Los Bitchos coming up who are keeping the art of REAL rock music alive... they have the technical skills but focus on the only thing that matters... songs and musicality. And it is the young ladies who are really becoming leaders in this regard. L'égalité est ce qu'il y a de mieux pour l'humanité...

Thanks KEXP for those bands you supply through years, this band is cool and audio engineer is top man!

I can't stop listening to this session, it's amazing. This is my 8th day in a row listening to it.

I remember seeing them at a gig in a pub in London a few years ago and now they're on kexp. Absolutly mad that. It's nice seeing a band you've seen by chance grow especially over the last few years and how tough things have been on the music industry

I found this amazing band after the strict lockdown in Spain. A nice melodic latin surf trip that makes you fly. I'd be nice to watch them play live.

We just got out 3 year old her first little guitar and she is obsessed with this video. She mimics all the lead guitars hand motions, the bass players little shoulder shuffles, and now she’s asking for drums. Thanks guys! Ready to take a 3 year old Latina baby in your band?
