One of my fave Sleigh Bells songs...

I just heard of sleigh bells because a friend had won two free concert tickets to a popular location nearby, and invited me to a Concert of theirs last night. Before the concert I listened to some music of theirs and this was the first track I heard. I love it... and when I looked closer at the lyrics, they apply so well to a situation I'm currently going through. The concert was amazing... I feel like I was destined to find this band, and I'm so happy I did. :)

This song would be perfect for the soundtrack of the Carrie remake. The lyrics are fitting especially when the vocals get ghostly/eerie and the melody could be mistaken for prom material. I love this song and want to loop it 3 times before moving on to more Sleigh Bells.

The first time I actually SAW this video, I wanted to cry. I watched the "cool", "big" kids ride those BMX bikes down tree-lined streets in N.J., until we moved in 1988...

I'm seeing them tonight (: I haven't heard much of their new stuff, I'm still kind of stuck on Treats and Reign of Terror but this is so GOOD! Sleigh Bells never registered as "chill" in my mind but this just makes me all the happier, they're growing in their sound. lurve

Sleigh bells perfect mix of gentle beautiful music and their hard and heavy music makes them my vote for my favorite under appreciated band. Sadly they don't do pop music so relatively no one has heard of them

Sleigh Bells only toured Florida before the official release of this album and Florida is close to Miller's heart, I found this: Quote Wiki: "The music video for "Comeback Kid" was filmed in Derek Miller's home town of Jupiter, Florida. Scenes were shot in Miller's old neighborhood, his mom's room and the local grocery store" If you look at the quality of the light in the video, it could be true, it could be Florida....
