Sledgehammer Apocalypse - Full Body, No Gym Workout

Burn Fat Around The Clock With Blue Star Nutraceuticals BLADE™ ➞ bit.ly/3O6d1FV
___________________________________________________________________
Away from the gym? Looking to mix things up? You can get a killer fat burning, muscle building full body workout without any fancy gym equipment.
A hardcore blitz with nothing more than a couple sledgehammers and an old tire - something we named "Sledgehammer Apocalypse".
This workout is designed to test your aerobic conditioning, muscle endurance, core stability, agility and strength.
A sledgehammer can be one of the meanest tools available for developing explosive power, functional strength, wrist stability and grip strength. And It also doubles as a wall smasher or even a zombie basher. Every man can take advantage of this functional training.
This workout is going to keep your heart rate elevated, burn through your muscle glycogen and start burning your fat stores AND create a huge oxygen deficit for your muscles. Which will produce an “afterburn effect” where your metabolism stays revved up, melting fat at an accelerated rate for up to 38 hours after you finish this workout.
You don’t need a ton of equipment and big heavy weight to build a chiseled physique, you just need the mental toughness to put in the sweat equity with full intensity and some hard work!
This workout uses 10 exercises. Each exercise is performed in superset fashion. Perform each resistance exercise for 1 minute and follow it up with 1 minute of sledgehammer conditioning. Take up to 1 minute to recover - and then move on to the next exercise. That’s 10 big super sets, and the entire workout should last 30 minutes.
Exercises:
1. Sledge Push-up + Shoulder Lateral Raise + (Right Side Overhead Sledges)
2. Sledge Top-Bottom Lever Curls + (Right Side Over-Under Sledges)
3. Sledge Straight Arm Pullover + (Right Side Top of Tire Sledges)
4. Sledge Side to Rear Lateral Raise + (Left Side Overhead Sledges)
5. Sledge Walking Lunge + Triceps Extension + (Left Side Over-Under Sledges)
6. Sledge Forearm Windshield Wipers + (Left Side Top of Tire Sledges)
7. Sledgehammer Flyes + (Right Side Under Sledges)
8. Sledgehammer Core Twists + (Left Side Under Sledges)
9. Sledgehammer Tire Split Squats + (Right Side Overhead Sledges)
10. Sledgehammer Skullcrushers + (Left Side Overhead Sledges)
By the end, you should be gasping for air, your whole body should feel like it’s just been torched and soaked in sweat. But you know, that pool of sweat under you is just all your fat cells crying as they melt away.
This is what it takes to force your body to get stronger. You may feel weaker now, but eat right, sleep and recover tonight and tomorrow you’ll be stronger from it!
If you dug this badass workout, smash that Thumbs Up button and Subscribe for more killer workouts and videos just like this. Be sure to let Jordan know how this workout goes in the comments below.
Until next time, keep training hard!

So, if you work in construction and your job is to knock down walls for 8h a day....what kinda body will you have after 1 year? A destroyed body, or will this really slim you down and build a lot of muscle? With this kind of job, I don't see how you'd need any gym workout?

@@karstenvonfjellheim5321 with that amount of volume you may build some muscle but only in the specific movements on the job. You should still train the rest of your body for even development. And with that amount of volume you will really need to pay attention to nutrition and sleep in order to recover - you'll certainly slim down from that amount of work, but you don't just want to be depleted, you want preserve lean muscle mass and build a proportioned, balanced physique.

So basicly, I had the tires on the little Ford Fiesta changed recently and told the guys to give me the old ones. Then I went to lowes at got myself a 10lb Sledge hammer. Not sure how long the little tire will last me, but chasing it as it bounces around the yard adds to my Cardio and with the tire so low I end up doing a squat to hit the tire evenly and with some control. When I started I could barly go maybe 5 minutes. few weeks later with some gloves I can hit it on and off again for over an hour

Perform each resistance exercise for 1 minute and follow it up with 1 minute of sledgehammer conditioning. Take up to 1 minute to recover - and then move on to the next exercise. That’s 10 big super sets, and the entire workout should last 30 minutes." Hope this helps! Let us know how you make out. :)

If I went out and swung a sledgehammer for 30 minutes a day for 3 days and the other three days I lifted weights for 30 minutes a day and took a rest day on Sunday....... What would happen? I'm in college in the day and I have a job at night, but I still want to get in good shape so I'm trying to find a 30 minute workout for each day.

That will be different for every person and depend on what you're doing for 1000 reps. You'll burn way more calories from 1000 squats than 1000 crunches for example.
