Subscribe! Maybe one of the last powder days of the season? Elena and I have loved skiing in Mill-D in Big Cottonwood this year. We've summited Little Water Peak so many times, and each time we've skipped over this massive aspen forest, but today we finally skied it. It was great! Backcountry tree skiing always reminds me a lot of where we learned about ski touring, in Vermont. Sometimes I actually like skiing trees better than open powder fields.

Great video and your others are awesome too! Just came back from a hike in the fall colors near the guardsman pass, so beautiful up there but cannot wait for winter. Watching your videos getting stoked! Hopefully we don't get multiple weeks of a PWL, can't wait to see you and Elena shred the big stuff although I do love your low angle stuff.

Sick video! Loved it. Looks like a beautiful spot! Just did our last tour here in Quebec yesterday and looking forward to getting out on the trails biking and running soon! Feels good to change it up at the end of the season.

Great video thanks for posting. I am wondering if the packs you are wearing are avalanche packs? It does not look like there was much risk where you were skiing but I am not an expert.

Thanks! Do you mean avalanche airbag backpacks? The ones we're wearing in the video aren't airbag backpacks. I'm wearing a Norrona Lyngen 45L and she's wearing the Osprey Kresta 30L. I don't own an airbag backpack currently but I would probably be open to it in the future. I don't ski avalanche terrain that much, I have more fun on the mellow slopes!
