I highly recommend going down the OK Go music video rabbit hole. Look up "OK Go on Treadmills." Choreographed and directed by a sister of one of the singers. She eventually directed Pitch Perfect 3. OK Go is solid pop rock, but they have the most incredible videos.

She caught the melting sky It burned but still the winter passes by and by To the other side A slow parade of wind That blows through trees That wilted with the season's children Are we saved by the words of bastard saints? Do we live in fear or faith? Tell me now who's behind the rain A maze of tangled grace The symptoms of for real Are crumbling from embrace But still we chase The shadows of belief And new religion clouds our visions of the roots Of our souls Are we ashamed of our own fate? Or play the fool for our own sake? Tell me who's behind the rain What do we need? Where do we go? When we get where we don't know Why should we doubt the virgin white of fallen snow? When faith's our shelter from the cold What do we need? Where do we go? When we get where we don't know Why should we doubt the virgin white of fallen snow? When faith's our shelter from the cold Quicksand Jesus I'm so far away without you Quicksand Jesus I'm so far away without you Quicksand Jesus I'm so far away, away Quicksand Jesus I'm so far away Quicksand Jesus I need you Quicksand Jesus I believe you Quicksand I'm so far away Take me away

I was in college when Skid Row came out and have loved them ever since. Yes, I still listen to my hair metal, I love it! It's my youth! While most of the "glam bands" at the time were mostly focused on the "party" aspect, shallow lyrics, questionable topics, etc., Skid Row was different. Very talented, Bas' vocals were always outstanding, and their songs contained stories with a message. Slave To The Grind, the album this song was from, didn't get the love it deserved. It never got as popular as their first album, but in my opinion, every song on it is outstanding. There's not a bad one in the bunch. Thanks for showing this group the love they deserve!

This was a time when really good music was being made. I actually saw sabatian bach play at a local venue a few years ago. He was still awesome and seems like a generally good dude.

OMG!! I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT YOU PICKED UP ON HERE, AND IT'S BRILLIANT. I am sure it was obvious to others, but I was just so wrapped up in the vocals, the message for on if the first times; it was just out of reach. Until right now!!!! Thank You so much for your time here, and the fact that you are not in your comfort zone with this topic , it was extremely appreciated on my end!! this was my first intro to you, and I am hooked! Be well and Thank you!

This is such a deep and truthful song I think we've all been at that point in our lives. This is by by far my favorite Skid Row song and probably my favorite 80's metal song. Thank you for doing this reaction

Bolan and Sabo were brilliant lyricists. I don't think Skid Row ever got enough credit for their writing talent. It just got better as time went on.

Thanks for reacting to my favourite song from the summer of 1991. I was at the beginning of a long, difficult 7 year stretch but I always loved music, and it kept me going. I’m not religious though it’s just words to me.
