Hey, Jamel, thanks for all the listens. "Roll with the Changes" from REO is a good one, "Take It on the Run," and "Time for Me to Fly." So, getting back to the Andrews Sisters era and a bit beyond, you have to check out the Benny Goodman version of "Sing, Sing, Sing" and Louis Prima's "Jump, Jive, and Wail." If you've never heard the Staples Singers, "I'll Take You There" is iconic, and "Let's Do It Again." You might like Bachman Turner Overdrive "Takin' Care of Business" and "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet." Check out some Cream "White Room," "Tales of Brave Ulysses," "I Feel Free," "I'm So Glad." I'll stop there for now. Don't mean to overwhelm; it's just hard to get your ear when you've become popular.

Wow, the memories! This was “our song”, I was 10 years older than my boyfriend... after hearing the words in this song I’m sure you can guess why it meant something to us. In 1984, it was unheard of for a female to be that much older than the man, you know the “double standard “ thing. Well anyway, we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary this year, we fooled everyone & have never regretted it for one minute! By the way, this was a crappy video, lol!

This is one of my favorite REO songs. I saw them in concert at Astroworld in Houston back in 1984-85, along with Cheap Trick. Awesome Concert. I am finally catching up on your reactions due to not feeling too well from a year ago. I am back to normal now. REO Speedwagon is an iconic group from my youth i had the opportunity to bring my son to see them when they came back to our area a couple years ago. He just loved seeing them . The last time they were in our area was way back when they first started out with the group Canned Heat. My brother who was 2 years older than me got to see them then and now my son had the honor of seeing them first hand. Great music from a great group also a great reaction. PEACE OUT.

REO played at one of my high school dances back in 1971. My brother was in the AV club and did the lighting for them. They were just big enough to play regional (we lived in South Central Wisconsin). 4 years later they played an actual concert at my University.

I knew they were named after a truck I always thought it was a Drag racer built on a truck chassis, but found that REO was the initial for the designer. Something new every day.

R.E.O. stands for Ransom E. Olds, founder of Oldsmobile. The REO Speedwagon was a light delivery truck back in the early 20th century, an ancestor to the pick-up truck.

I met my friend Dave in high school when I was 15.. I really loved him. When I was 20 years old I gave him this song it was a 45 record to finally tell him how I felt. We remained just friends and are still friends 42 years later. I knew I wanted him in my life no matter what. Thanks for the reaction and memories.

One of the very best songs by REO Speedwagon back in the day...In my humble opinion, the 1980's was the absolute peak of musical expression that will stand the test of time, and will entertain future generations, long after we are gone...
To feel this song you must be a teenager, hot and sweaty at a school dance, slow dancing with that girl you had a crush on for a year or more. Then you feel it. Yes that was me and it was wonderful...

Hey, Jamel, thanks for all the listens. "Roll with the Changes" from REO is a good one, "Take It on the Run," and "Time for Me to Fly." So, getting back to the Andrews Sisters era and a bit beyond, you have to check out the Benny Goodman version of "Sing, Sing, Sing" and Louis Prima's "Jump, Jive, and Wail." If you've never heard the Staples Singers, "I'll Take You There" is iconic, and "Let's Do It Again." You might like Bachman Turner Overdrive "Takin' Care of Business" and "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet." Check out some Cream "White Room," "Tales of Brave Ulysses," "I Feel Free," "I'm So Glad." I'll stop there for now. Don't mean to overwhelm; it's just hard to get your ear when you've become popular.

Wow, the memories! This was “our song”, I was 10 years older than my boyfriend... after hearing the words in this song I’m sure you can guess why it meant something to us. In 1984, it was unheard of for a female to be that much older than the man, you know the “double standard “ thing. Well anyway, we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary this year, we fooled everyone & have never regretted it for one minute! By the way, this was a crappy video, lol!

This is one of my favorite REO songs. I saw them in concert at Astroworld in Houston back in 1984-85, along with Cheap Trick. Awesome Concert. R E O Speedwagon's music is so great they really didn't need videos. I have been a fan since I can remember (born 1980), but it was after 2010 that I saw what they even looked like.
Forget the video. The video is someone's fevered dream.

I am finally catching up on your reactions due to not feeling too well from a year ago. I am back to normal now. REO Speedwagon is an iconic group from my youth i had the opportunity to bring my son to see them when they came back to our area a couple years ago. He just loved seeing them . The last time they were in our area was way back when they first started out with the group Canned Heat. My brother who was 2 years older than me got to see them then and now my son had the honor of seeing them first hand. Great music from a great group also a great reaction. PEACE OUT.

My uncle beat friend growing up was Gary Richrath from Reo. So I used to see these guys at family events as a child 😂 he passed a couple years ago and my uncle and him had stayed best friends for around 70 years
This is one band I absolutely love live! Have seen them many times over the yrs! First time in the 80s. Can't believe its possible but his voice gets higher as he ages! Awesome live show!

They have some songs that are really rockin! Check out "Riding The Storm Out ", "Golden Country ", and "Keep Pushing" from their live album " You Get What You Play For". They will blow you away!

That concept video idea got on my nerves at times. It distracted from the song. I'd be sitting there going, "WTH?! That has NOTHING to do with the song!"
REO played at one of my high school dances back in 1971. My brother was in the AV club and did the lighting for them. They were just big enough to play regional (we lived in South Central Wisconsin). 4 years later they played an actual concert at my University.

I knew they were named after a truck I always thought it was a Drag racer built on a truck chassis, but found that REO was the initial for the designer. Something new every day.

REO are the initials of Ransom Eli Olds, who would later get bought up by GM with the Oldsmobile brand. The speedwagon was the first incarnation of the pickup truck, also used as fire trucks. Started in 1915. Peace & Love!

I met my friend Dave in high school when I was 15.. I really loved him. When I was 20 years old I gave him this song it was a 45 record to finally tell him how I felt.
