Your mastery of composition is veryyy apparent in this video, from your thumbnails themselves to the layout of the whole page to your video camera setups throughout the entire video. Very very well done, its always a treat to go on a date with you and peek into your process and how you go about into the world with nothing and end the day with so much. The editing was fantastic, and I love your loose paintings the most :)

Another wonderful date, and just what I needed to have with my cup of tea at the end of a long day. You really captured the spirit of Singer Sargent with you watercolour of the fountain! The studio painting of the quick sketch of the workman was just delightful. I'm surprised you had the energy to do that in the evening after such a busy day of sketching and filming. Just lovely.

Oh wow! Thank you so much for watching I hope you enjoyed :)
I'm impressed with how you captured the worker rolling the cart so quickly since it was such a fleeting moment...& the gouache painting of it is fantastic! I love scenes of every day life - it's stuff we take for granted, but in the end, it's how we live each day - those "regular" moments that compose how we exist, and we're surprised when things evolve or change over the years & forget how it used to be ... ex/ the days before cell phones ... you'd have to use a pay phone or a call box if you were stuck on the road & needed help. I also adore water fountains - especially the kind you see in Europe. I remember when i was 6, during a visit, how the children used to sail little wooden toy boats on them & wanting to do that so much myself. I'd love to see a gouache painting of the fountain. TFS!

The way you captured each drawing was amazing! We usually don't take to much time to look around, but the way you made a beautiful painting of a person doing their daily job it's so admiring. Thank you Jess for giving this oportunity to take us on what are your thoughts are while drawing, how you get inspired and the editing of your videos! Good morning/afternoon, Jessica. I enjoyed watching the video and thank you for the date as well. I also enjoyed watching you sketch out the 10 drawings filled with contrast, detail, the color and texture. The last drawing of the waterfall was my favorite, and maybe you could paint a mural of your adventure there with the waterfall being the main picture with you sitting in one of the seats in front of it. And with the name of the park as a logo underneath the chair and having those pictures in the background of you. Just an idea! Thank you for posting and hope to go on another date with you. I'm also an artist and doing Inktober this year and will post my drawings in November. Happy Labor Day and enjoy your Sunday.
