I like practicing horses, wolves, and hair? I find hair soothing to draw. Just the depth and shading is what I enjoy when drawing.

The horse head that took 2 mins was better than a head I could do in an hour

Your instructions are great! I have a horrible time with the body, heads I can do. Actually I'm working on the rotation of the heads in different poses. My favorite thing to do are the eyes, or just the muzzle, or half a face.. So thanks for doing to body poses. Also I love that your left handed! Me to!! God bless!

I draw horses too but mine are 100% references free. Free handed and off my head. Wish I could show you one of mine. Been drawing horses since '02 and still going strong My fisrt drawings were scary as heck though if I had an older one and a newer one youd see the HUGE differences and progress that was made from the first drawing to drawings now

ooo I would love to see a timed sketch for like 5 minutes or something where you draw something out of a set theme, like mermaids, fairys, kittens or whatever :) and the challange is to draw one in regular pencils or colored pencils vs watercolor vs markers vs something else you havent used in a while. This will help you see for yourself what you can do in 5 minutes in different mediums and since all are the same subject in different styles you will get pretty cool comparison pieces. Interested? :)

+Glacia The Wolf Wow, that's cool. I also like creating animal hybrids, but they are ideas for a fursuit. It would be nice to learn the body structure of some big cats, too

I didn't have time to watch this yesterday because I went to a tulip festival (pretty pictures, yay!) but I'm watching now! :) Obviously! I'm also needing a little advice. There's a Western State art contest that I'm currently working on my entry to, but I know I'm not going to win. I've never even won the teen contests for the local library system, so how could I be chosen as a finalist for an entire state? I'm crying and I don't know what to do besides pray for comfort, but I really want to win.

Also can you maybe make a video about how to not get envious of another artists' work? And how to not compare yourself to other better artists...? It's quite an embarrassing thing for me to talk about and I don't know if you've ever had that problem but I hate that inside myself, getting envious of other artists and comparing yourself to them and all that...
