Yes, it's been two weeks since my last video.... more on that in another video. But here you go. I am starting a new sketchbook because isn't that what artists do?

Q:What pencil, paper, pen (etc) do you use?
A: I generally use a 2b drawing pencil and artist sketch paper, sometimes Bristol. Check out my Art Supplies video for more information. • Drawing Supplies
Q: How do you record your videos?
A: I use a Sony Handycam HD to record my videos and Adobe Elements Premier for editing
Q: Can I send you mail?
A: Yes! Make sure you check that the correct postage is on the envelope or it won't make it to me.
Q: Will you write me back?
A: If you include a self-addressed stamped envelope, I will reply back to you! :)
Q: Can you draw a picture of my dog. horse, cat, Mother (Etc)
A: Unfortunately, I am unable to take personal requests. If you are interested in purchasing a commissioned drawing from me, send me a message for more information.
Q: How can I get better at drawing?
A: The biggest thing you can do is keep drawing! Never give up.

I absolutely would love to see a honey badger and an opossum. Either in the same picture or separated.
Oh yeah that sketchbook! Forgot about that one. It would be great for a Nature Journal. There's a channel a lady has where she's got chipmunks living near her and she films them, names them, feeds them. So cute. One comes in her house, I think they all eat out of her hand. I tried the link for the book and it did not work. Might be my device.

the squirrel is so cute! I have so many ideas, but my favorite are a fox and butterfly.

I was so disappointed in the new refill size 🥲 they’re so much smaller for the same price. I’m going to see if I can get similar colors of the block studio brush marker refills and opt for those. As for the sketchbook, how about some squirrels since you did chipmunks. Honestly anything with a cottage core vibe would fit the sketchbook well
I've spent probably 5 hours feeling like I want to draw and not knowing what I want to draw so this wholesome and cute video really feeds the inspiration! Also kind of mini snaps me out of the white page syndrome mini panic feeling after such a long time of no progress. I wish I knew if I wanted to practice fundamentals or draw within my comfort zone or practice something I've been postponing in learning or if I should just doodle for the sake of warmup but it would be fun with a specific direction. One of those days. :/

@@ArtalaCarte I've created 3 boards today 🙈 I did realize I didn't eat since breakfast because I was too focused on deciding so maybe some fuel to my brain will do wonders. 😅 Your video made me think that maybe rats or mice or chinchillas or rabbits might be the good choice today with simple shapes (less frustration) yet the practice of capturing cuteness. I always forget that rodents and rabbits exist during days like this! Or koi fish? Fish shapes are "those days" friendly too. Argh, decisions. 😂

@@ArtalaCarte the gnome comment reminded me of a channel called Where The Gnomes Live. She makes Gnomes and mice and little and big dollhouses for them to live in, mushroom homes, tree houses, pumpkin homes, tiny homes in walnut shells, she makes lots of mushrooms. Visual inspiration is abundant
