I've seen so many videos of atheists marveling over the Egyptian pyramids and how advanced their civilization must have been to build them, but those same people say it's ridiculous to believe Noah could have built the ark.

@@bluebucket822 The argument is as follows: "People marvel over how the pyramids were built by ancients but refuse to believe Noah built an ark." My reply is: We can go to Egypt and see the pyramids and as we see them, we can marvel over how such a massive edifice could have been built. Can we go somewhere to see an ark and perhaps marvel over it? No. The OP also brings in a red herring and says, "Atheists marvel over ancient things like the pyramids." By saying that, he is equating something tangible (the pyramids) with something that does not have a shred of evidence for it ever having existed. Disbelieving in Noah having built an ark does not depend on faith, as if "atheists would believe if only they had enough faith." No, disbelieving in Noah and his boat depends on there being zero evidence for their existence, unlike the pyramids.

Hey dax, if every proto Greek civilization was wiped out in the flood, then why do we use the Greek names for the Tigris and Euphrates rivers? The Hebrews already had named them: the Tigris was called the Hiddekel, the Euphrates was called the Perat. How the hell can you get Greek names for anything if Noah and his ilk didn't speak Greek? @daxconnell7661, Yes that's a good argument. In fact, the Middle East does seem to be the general area of Eden going simply by the genetic markers of how humankind spread across the Earth from that general area. Check out the book "Traced" by Dr. N.Jeanson. Also it was not merely rain that caused the flood but, the great fountains or water reservoirs of the deep, underground were broken up and spewed forth into the atmosphere. Rain cannot occur without a tiny drop of dust for the water molecules to form around. There was volcanic activity and dirt/smoke released into the air, possibly produced by meteors or a huge earthwide earthquake. The resulting dust and heavy tropical vapor in the air turned into rain. Between the underground water and the water coming down from the sky every hill was covered. The mountains such as the Alps or the Rockies formed as a result of tectonic upheaval and magma spread. If you look at the topography under the oceans you can see where the earth literally was split apart. It was a truly cataclysmic event. Amazing the human race and the animal ancestors survived at all. The Ark was massive and masterfully engineered by God.

THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "is a great last day that He will save man" (God clarity about, "Not everyone who calls me, Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who obey the will of my Father in heaven." Mat. 7:21-23) Almighty God said TRUE ACCEPTANCE of GOD REQUIRES your DEVOTION and TESTIMONY, YOU have in your THOUGHTS, EXPRESSIONS and ACTIONS the REALITY of the TRUTH and YOU LIVE IT. Let's look at what the Lord Jesus said, "MANY WILL SAY to ME in that DAY, LORD, LORD, DID WE NOT PROPHESY in YOUR NAME, and in YOUR NAME CAST OUT DEMONS, and in YOUR NAME WE DID MANY MIGHTY WORKS? and IF SO I WILL TELL THEM, WHEN I DON'T KNOW YOU. GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU WORKERS on INJUSTICE, " The true acceptance of God, God's scrutiny is that He CORRECTS YOUR HEART. 🙏 THOSE who are CAPABLE of PRACTICING the TRUTH and CAN ACCEPT GOD'S SCRUTINY of DOING THINGS. When you ACCEPT GOD'S SCRUTINY, YOU are CORRECTED YOUR HEART. ☀️ If you only do things for others to see and do not accept God's scrutiny, then do you still have God in your heart? A PERSON LIKE THIS HAS NO RESPECT TO GOD. DON'T DO THINGS FOR YOURSELF AND NEVER CONSIDER YOUR OWN INTERESTS, DON'T THINK OF YOUR OWN CONDITION, FAME, OR REPUTATION. Don't even consider people's interests. You have to think of the interests of God's house first, and put those first. ☀️ YOU must CONSIDER the WILL of GOD and BEGIN by MEDITATING WHETHER you have been PURE or NOT in FULFILLING your DUTY, whether YOU have DONE your BEST to be HONEST, done your BEST to FULFILL your RESPONSIBILITIES, and GIVEN your ALL, as well as whether or not you have been MINDFUL of your DUTY and the WORK of GOD'S HOUSE . YOU NEED to CONSIDER these THINGS. THINK of THESE THINGS, and IT WILL BE MORE EASY to PERFORM YOUR DUTY WHEN YOUR DUTY is in ORDER. ☀️ If your ability is weak, your experience is shallow, or you are not skilled in your professional tasks, then there may be some mistakes or deficiencies in your work, and the results may not be very good----but you have poured that is your full effort. WHEN YOU DON'T THINK of YOUR SELFISH DESIRES CONSIDER YOUR SELF-INTEREST in THINGS that YOU DO, and INSTEAD GIVE CONSTANT CONSIDERATION to the WORK of the HOUSE of GOD, HAVING its INTERESTS in MIND, and PERFORMING YOUR DUTY WELL, YOU WILL EARN, THEN, of GOOD WORKS before GOD. The PEOPLE who PERFORM these GOOD WORKS are THOSE WHO own TRUE REALITY, THEREFORE, THEY HAVE TESTIMONY, if YOU ALWAYS LIVE ACCORDING to the FLESH, YOU are ALWAYS GIVEN---SATISFY YOUR SELFISH DESIRES, then YOU HAVE NO REALITY LIFE such PEOPLE, this is the MARK THAT WILL BRING SHAME to GOD. ☀️ You say, "I'm not doing anything, how can I bring shame to God?" In your THOUGHTS and IDEAS, in the INTENTIONS, GOALS and MOTIVES BEHIND your ACTIONS, and in the CONSEQUENCES of what you HAVE DONE----in EVERY WAY you GIVE--you SATISFY SATAN, his HUMOR, and LETTING it get BAD INFORMATION ABOUT YOU. 😪 YOU ARE FAR FROM THE TESTIMONY YOU SHOULD HAVE AS A CHRISTIAN. YOU are BLASPHEMING GOD'S NAME in EVERY THING and YOU HAVE NO TRUE TESTIMONY. ☀️ DOES GOD REMEMBER THINGS YOU HAVE DONE? FINALLY, WHAT CONCLUSION is FORMED of GOD ABOUT YOUR ACTIONS and ROLE YOU HAVE PLAYED? SHOULDN'T that HAVE an OUTPUT, SOME KIND of STATEMENT? In the BIBLE, the LORD JESUS says, "Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your name do we many mighty works? And then I will reveal to them, When did I not recognize you? Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity, " 😪 WHY SAID the LORD JESUS? WHY BECAME a DOOR of EVIL those WHO HEAL the SICK and CAST OUT DEMONS in the NAME of the LORD, those WHO TRAVEL to PREACH in the NAME of the LORD? Are they the ones who don't believe in God? THEY ALL BELIEVE and OBEY GOD. They ALSO AVOID THINGS for GOD, SPEND THEMSELVES for GOD, and FULFILL THEIR DUTY. ☀️ HOWEVER, in the PERFORMANCE of their DUTY, they LACKED DEVOTION and TESTIMONY, so it ENDED up DOING EVIL. THIS is WHY the LORD JESUS says, "GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU WRITER OF INJURY." What is the standard by which a person's actions are judged as good or bad? It DEPENDS on WHETHER or NOT YOU HAVE, in YOUR THOUGHTS, EXPRESSIONS, and ACTIONS, the TESTIMONY of the PERFORMANCE of TRUTH and LIVING TRUE REALITY. If you don't have this reality or you don't live it, no doubt you are a bad person. WHAT DOES GOD THINK of BAD PEOPLE? YOUR THOUGHTS and ACTIONS do NOT BEAR WITNESS to GOD, nor DO they HUMILIATE or DEFEAT SATAN, INSTEAD, they HUMILIATE GOD, and FULL of MARKS that DISHONOR GOD. YOU are NOT WITNESSING for GOD, YOU are NOT SPENDING YOURSELF for GOD, NOR are YOU FULFILLING YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES and OBLIGATIONS to GOD, INSTEAD, YOU are ACTING for YOUR OWN WELLNESS. What does the " FOR YOUR OWN SANE?" for SATAN. 😪 THEREFORE, at the LATEST, GOD WILL SAY, "Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity." In the EYES of GOD, YOU HAVE NOT DONE GOOD WORKS, INSTEAD, YOUR BEHAVIOR has BEEN BAD. 😪 GOD WILL NOT REWARD YOU and WILL NOT REMEMBER YOU. Isn't it completely pointless? 😪 For EACH ONE of YOU WHO is FULFILLING your DUTY, NO MATTER how DEEPLY you UNDERSTAND the TRUTH, IF you WANT to ENTER the TRUE REALITY, the SIMPLEST WAY to DO it is to THINK of the INTERESTS of GOD'S HOUSEHOLD in EVERYTHING you DO, and LET GO of your SELFISH DESIRES, INDIVIDUAL GOALS, MOTIVES, HONOR, and STATUS. PUT the INTERESTS of the HOUSE of GOD FIRST---this is the LEAST YOU SHOULD DO. ☀️🙏 If a person performing his duty cannot do this, how can it be said that he has performed his duty? It is NOT PERFORMANCE of the PERSON in HIS DUTIES. YOU MUST FIRST CONSIDER the INTERESTS of GOD'S LIFE, CONSIDER His WORK, and PUT these THINGS FIRST, AFTER that, ONLY then YOU can THINK ABOUT the STABILITY of YOUR STATUS or WHAT OTHERS THINK of YOU. Don't you feel a little more rushed when you break it down into these steps and make some compromises. If you do this for a while, you will feel that it is not difficult to please God. In addition to that, if you are able to fulfill responsibilities, fulfill your obligations and duties, put aside your selfish desires, put aside your own goals and motives, you have consideration for God's will, and you put the interests and of His household, then after experiencing it for a while, you will feel that this lifestyle is good. It is LIVING FRANKLY and HONESTLY, WITHOUT BECOMING a MEAN and USELESS PERSON, and LIVING JUSTLY and HONORABLY RATHER than BEING NARROW-MINDED or SAVAGE. You FEEL this is HOW a PERSON SHOULD LIVE and ACT. ☀️ GRADUALLY, the DESIRE in YOUR HEART to SATISFY YOUR OWN INTERESTS WILL BE REDUCED. "give your true heart to God, and you will attain the truth." 🙏☀️ From "The WORD Appears in the Flesh". holy book Fulfilled in "In the beginning He was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). ... and "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. @@ort8410 It's only "not even a mildly tough question" if you are too incredibly lazy to think about the logistics. I suggest you think just a LITTLE harder, then come back and reassess your opinion. Here's a couple of facts to help you along: 1. There were a maximum of 8 people on the ark for an entire year. 2. Every single species of animal was also on the ark, many with very specific dietary/care requirements if they were to survive the conditions on board. 3. According to the bible, the ark had ONE window. 4. One pair of elephants (male and female) produces roughly 100 tonnes of excrement per year. So do some maths, and let me know how difficult the task would be based on your calculations. Or of course you could simply admit you're too lazy to bother with actual facts and would rather entertain a fantasy that is not remotely concordant with reality.

I always wonder about Jesus simply saying "Follow Me", and then the apostles one by one would drop everything and followed him. I found this amazing article and I was balling my eyes out, because it gave me a whole new appreciation for His love for us. 😥😇😥💕 It's called: "MAY YOU BE COVERED WITH THE DUST OF YOUR RABBI" In the New Testament a Rabbi would call a new disciple by saying, “Follow Me,” it meant from that time forward their life would change drastically as they would be dead to their old life and alive to their new life. They would literally leave everything they knew and begin to follow their new teacher. ~If you were called to follow a Rabbi, you would be taking their set of rules and their teaching upon you, with the idea that one day you would perpetuate their ideas to future generations. A Rabbi’s set of teachings in that day was called their “yoke.” This is what Jesus was talking about when he said, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for … For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). The Rabbis of Jesus’ day put a heavy yoke loaded with burdens on men and did not help to lift them. ~Around the age of 14 or 15 years old, the young men would finish their schooling and the Rabbis would go to these schools and question these young men. They would then choose the best of the best to be their disciples and would call them using the same phrase that Jesus used, “Follow Me.” The Rabbi wanted to find out if you had what it takes to spread his yoke. The new disciple would then leave his hometown and everything he knew, and would follow him everywhere, giving his life to be exactly like his Rabbi. The student would follow the Rabbi and literally imitate him in every way, especially his teaching and mannerisms. ~As one would leave and begin to follow, others would say to him, “May you be covered with the dust of your Rabbi.” The students followed him so closely that the dust from the road that came from the feet of the Rabbi would cover the disciple. That should be the desire of every disciple of Christ, to walk so close to him that we would be covered with his dust. ~If a young man was rejected by the Rabbi, he would say to him, “Go home, have children, and pray that they may become a Rabbi. Go home and ply your trade (go home and learn the family business).” ~Matthew 4:18-22 describes Jesus calling four of his disciples to follow him, “And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. ~(Why were these men fisherman, because they were not chosen to be a potential Rabbi; they were plying their trade.) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him. ~Jesus calling these young men was just the same as saying, “I believe you can be like me and I believe you have potential, you have what it takes. I believe God can use you.” This was one of the greatest privileges in their culture. ~Imagine you were on the shore when this scene unfolds. Jesus walks by and calls James and John, the sons of Zebedee, they drop everything and immediately begin to follow Jesus. I would have thought that their father would have said, “… you kids now a days, running off, leaving me with all this work, where do you think you’re going.” Nothing like that was spoken. I imagine that Zebedee ran home and said something like this, “The boys aren’t with me mom, a Rabbi, Jesus of Nazareth, came along and called our boys, and he thinks that they have what it takes to be a Rabbi someday.” Maybe the next morning, he sees the usual men preparing for the day’s work that is ahead of them and he can’t wait to brag on his sons. I assure you that this became the talk of the town, Zebedee’s family stock soared that day, and this is what every father dreamed of for his son. ~I often wondered why Peter would get out of a perfectly good boat in the middle of a storm. His Teacher was not in the boat and he wanted to be just like him, so he stepped out and walked on the water. Peter would rather be surrounded by the waves and be with Jesus than to be in a safe boat without him. Peter wanted to be covered with the dust of his Rabbi, to follow Him. What Jesus did, Peter wanted to do, where Jesus was, Peter wanted to be. May you be covered with the dust of your Rabbi! ~I was just thinking about how Jesus washed His dust off of the feet of his disciples. They were dirty, because they followed so closely behind Him. It was now time for them to step up, and have the world follow what they have to say about Jesus! Yet Judas was covered in that same dust, but he decided to betray him like billions of so-called Christians today that do not obey Jesus, but are still choosing to obey their flesh! Written by Pastor Tim Bartee in Sidney. I was in church for 50 years and I never read my Bible and then 5.5 years ago I almost killed myself, and then Lord reminded me that it only takes 1 Day to Listen to the dramatized New Testament Bible. Ever since then I've been reading/listening to my Bible cover to cover every single month.. While I drive, walk, work, clean, bathe... So who needs TV or social media when we've got The Word of God that sets us free. I suddenly had a radical conversion and surrendered my ENTIRE life to Christ...after I read 1st JOHN 3:9-10, it Absolutely scared me too the core and I stopped making excuses for my sin. I was kidnapped for sex trafficking the very day that I ran away from home after my mom had murdered my twin baby sisters she said she was going to murder me. After God saved my soul that day, Now I truly love God with all my heart, all my mind, all my sou, andl all my strength. He healed my Mind Body Soul and Spirit.. Ever since then I've never experienced anger, fear, unforgiveness, guilt, shame, rejection, bitter, lustful thoughts, loneliness, worry/stress, lying, gossip, etc 🎉 I can't believe that I used to think I was Born Again, not even close, but more like a Foolish Virgin. When I go out and evangelist I just ask people to Push Play and let the TRUTH set you free!!! The area I live in is filled with so many lukewarm Christians it's heartbreaking, but Jesus said it would be this way in the last days.

I got the chance to see the Grand Canyon in person and pictures do not do it justice. It was a very humbling experience as it threw my depth perception out the window. But after watching this with the great flood makes me wonder how powerful the water must have been carve out the Grand Canyon. And then it reminds me yet again we serve a mighty God!

Or during the flood event there were massive electrical discharges that tore out huge sections of the earth. Look at the GC from satellite images and compare them to electrical discharge images. This effect was created in a lab with astonishing results. The erosion theory falls apart rather quickly when you look at the observable facts. There is a river that flows through my home town. While hiking along the river bank you can see rock formations, they are perpendicular to the flow of the water. This river is depicted in ancient maps so its not something man made. So its been flowing for a very very very long time yet the rock formations are sharped edge stone with no indication of erosion. There is another area, the ridge road. It has a body of water on each side with a 100ft ridge in the middle. They say the glaciers carved it out. Yet on each end it stops, so where did the glacier go. It was most likely during the event the electrical winds blew sediment over the earth and the oppsosing electrical field attracted the charged particles collecting on this ridge. Thing of sand and gravel pits. They tell you glaciers ground up the material. Thats bull. It was the charged wind and sediment that collected in these areas. In many places you can see the sediment layers as the material was blown around during these biblical storms.

He said it was 500 plus feet by 85 ft by 51 ft? Or somewhere around there. How many animals can fit in that, and what did the carnivores eat? You know, like the lions and the T-Rex? Where did the animals go to the bathroom during this year? Also, with a pair of every single creature or species sitting inside, did they not move for a year? He said the Ark was about the size of a midsized cargo ship, but a midsized cargo ship is filled up with cargo from one small place transporting to another. During the year journey, did the animals not reproduce? If every living thing on land died, then there was no vegetation. What did the plant eating animals eat when they got off the boat? When the meat eaters got hungry and ate a cow or a chicken, wouldn't they be effectively wiping out an entire species? I'm confused. Can you please answer these questions I have? Not that many life forms were on the arc and the really big ones were small juveniles. These would have been the prehistoric ancestors of all animals today. For example a pair of grey wolves from which all dogs descended from. The many species around today were not around then. Back then people and animals were vegetarians so a significant part of the arc was for storing hay, grasses, etc for the animals. A smaller area was for the human food like beans, lentils, grains, dried vegetables and fruits. In cold countries cows don't leave the barn for half the year but they still survive. Noah and the seven others were very busy taking care of all the animals. This all is common sense and faith isn't required to figure things out.

Married to a worldview that only supports material, natural, scientific explanations for biblical history the scoffer cannot imagine a world that operates outside of their limited knowledge and experience - what they can see and touch. A Sovereign Transcendent God authored the natural, physical laws. The physical, natural law is subject to Him, He is not subject to the physical, natural law. He can step into human history any time and in any manner He deems necessary or appropriate. We are, however, subject to the physical, natural limitations within our finite universe. From our limited vantage point it is foolish to declare that we possess the knowledge that denies God. The scoffer cannot countenance that because the physical natural world is what is transcendent and unalterable to the materialist. The materialist worldview that nothing begot everything is as foolish to the believer as the “fairy tale” of the ark is to the scoffer. One of them is right. The other is a fool.

The New Testament has demons everywhere that we do not see today. We know that the ancient world was full of magical thinking. The major problem with the ark story is that God hid all of the evidence that it happened and managed to fool all of the geologists, archaeologists, paleontologists, biologists, dendrochronologists, marine engineers and many more researchers. That is the real miracle. I don't think that materialists think that nothing begot everything, at least that is not what cosmologists propose.

The Ark of the Covenant is a Chest. And it’s built 52’ x 31’ x 31’, or the cubit equivalent, depending upon Royal, Commoner, or Arm Length. To build a Boat you need a Main Beam then Ribs, with which, to attach the outer hull. People didn’t build Ark’s, they built boats and used Hope Chests, (also called Ark Chests) to carry their most precious items safely across water, protected by Ribs. They used these Boats, and Chests to Circle the World upon Water, or at least part of the Circle, sometimes only managing the 180’ Arc of the Full Circle. Why would it take Noah 7 years to work upon his part of the 360’ Arc of Circular Cycle.

Some scholars teach that it took Noah 120 years to build the ark, based on Genesis 6:3. Others say that it took 100 years, based on Noah’s age in Genesis 5:32 and his age in Genesis 7:6.

This is truly one of the best videos I have seen on KZread in a long time. I would love to sit and debate with yourself, fairly and professionally with respect shown for both sides, as this 18 minute video raised so many contentions that outright show that the ark is nothing more than a man building a big boat thousands of years ago (if it happened at all). Due to the primitive mindset back then, a huge boat would have seemed almost supernatural, and this is to not even involve the sheer space required for these "kinds" of animals. Lastly the term "kind" is so vague as to be irrelevant as most theologians cannot even agree what it means and cannot reliably apply it to life today... so yeah, genuinely any time I would jump at the chance to visit, bathe in the culture that you have built where you are; and to hopefully video debate about this contentious issue. Warm regards either way, T

Fortunately, I had an uncle, a minister who read Hebrew, and he explained the translation of "days". I also had a pastor with a Ph.D. in Geology, and who was an old Earth creationist. Then I also ask, the Bible is clear on the Flood, but not clear on the Moon/Earth collision event. Add in the absence of information on the Chicxulub impact crater and then the Deliquin impact crater, which is much older and more eroded... Both of these would have led to a years long darkness and winter that would have prevented Photosynthesis, therefore all plant growth would have ceased. Please need some help in understanding why the Earth records these events, but the Bible does not?

Another thought; If the fountains of the deep expelled huge quantities of superheated water, when the pressure was released this super-heated water would flash into steam. Water vapor is an even more powerful greenhouse gas as compared to carbon dioxide. The enormous quantities of water vapor into the atmosphere would lead to runaway greenhouse conditions, raising the atmospheric temperatures by several tens of degrees. Also all of the dead and rotting animal and plant material would release methane gas, another very potent greenhouse gas. Taken together, the water vapor and methane would make for a very hellish Earth.

A cubit is an ancient unit of measurement based on the length from one's elbow to the tip of the middle finger - due to the lack of a standard measurement, it is not possible to accurately convert ancient specifications with confidence. However, in modern times, a cubit is generally taken to be 18 inches, or 46 centimeters. Using this conversion, the ark would measure approximately 450 x 75 x 45 in feet, or 135 x 23 x 14 in meters.

Great video. I agree with you 100%. You’re so right. The problem for most people not believing is that they have no knowledge who the GOD of The Bible really is. If you are the type of person who says to yourself “that’s a lie because there’s no GOD”. So, of course; you’re going to doubt everything you hear about GOD, but for those that believe it is the power of GOD. Just because an animal was huge (like the host said), he could’ve brought aboard young ones or the eggs. For all of us that believe, there’s nothing impossible for GOD. Yes, The Bible is full of silly and unbelievable stories, and GOD knew this; but HE made them like that to confound the wise. For those who read this comment I’m going to write down a Chapter and verse in The Bible so you can read it, because my time is limited, but read it so you can understand GOD better. The Apostle Paul wrote this in - 1 Corinthians 1: 27-29. This is for those who question GOD. I know the young man (host) that posted this, does believe in The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). May THE LORD GOD and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST bless you, your family, and all your viewers. I’m asking GOD for a very special blessing for those that still don’t believe in THE LORD. My friends, time is running out, and whether you believe GOD or not; HIS SON JESUS will be coming very soon to take to Heaven those that do believe. You don’t want to be left behind. I’m pleading with you. If you would only put down your skepticism and your pride, you can also meet HIM, and not be left behind. I don’t know who you are, but if you’re human; JESUS came and die for you on the cross, so you could be saved and not be sent to hell for eternity. Sounds hard right? But GOD is HOLY my friend, and nothing around HIM can be dirty or sinful. This war with ISRAEL was prophesied a long time ago and it signals the beginning of the end. You still have time. May JESUS open your heart. Amen!!! 🙏🕊️❤️

I think you're doing a great job for the most part but that in some cases you're reading your own ideas into the text. It says cubits, not royal cubits, so we should assume normal cubits making the ark 450 feet by 75 feet and 45 feet high. It doesn't mention a rudder or a bow, so we should assume that it was shaped like a box. Noah had 120 years to build the ark, plenty of time for him and his sons to build it by themselves. There's nothing it the text to indicate that he used hired help. What? he found people to help him and then he let them drown? People would have either mocked him or believed in the project and want to be part of it- and then would they not want to get on the ark themselves?

Where does it say Noah had 120 years to build the ark? I don’t see that in my Bible. Genesis 5:32 says, “after Noah was 500 years old he became the father of Ham, Shem, and Japheth.” Then in Genesis 6:14 God tells him to build the ark. Then, Genesis 7:6 tells us that Noah was 600 years old when the flood came. So, it sounds to me like he had less than 100 years to build it.

It's been 40 years and my questions still go unanswered... The amount of food along, would require several boats of similar size, not including the amount of daily fresh water needed for each pair of animal.... Then we need to think about the fish that only live in fresh water or salt water.... Either all fresh water was saved or they perished or visa vera..... The amount of water alone would create a brackish water that a very select few of creatures could live in... Please think about this.... Yes, the explanation that "the animals came to him" solves the problem of how Noah got animals from around the world onto the ark. Now we have a whole new set of problems as a result. It is 1000 miles of ocean from Australia to mainland Asia. Koalas can't swim. And from there another 7000 miles over land to the Middle East. How did they navigate? We know they had no compasses. The overland trek would have taken 6 or 7 years. Koalas would have died before completing the trip. And then there is the matter of food. Koalas eat eucalyptus leaves exclusively. There are no eucalyptus trees on the way. And any 9 year old koala that happened to make it to the Middle East and survived the flood had another 8000 mile, 7 year journey return trip back.

You are making up the point about Australia not existing. There is no proof of that and lots of proof that it has existed for millions of years. So now explain how Australia came about in the last 4000 years. - The aboriginal people have lived there continuously for at least 40,000 years. Explain this anomaly. - There are rock wall paintings that are 35,000 years old. Explain this anomaly. - Animals like marsupial tigers, kangaroos, koalas and quokkas have not spread out from Australia to mainland Asia, which they would be expected to do if Australia was attached to Asia, but which is expected if they were separated from Asia for millions of years and evolved independently. The same thing happens in islands all over the world like Madagascar. Explain this anomaly. - Plate tectonics does not support Australia being joined to Asia any time in the recent past. To separate that quickly would have caused enormous volcanism, tsunamis and earthquakes, none of which is in the bible record or the natural record. Explain this anomaly.

@@mmaimmortals To assume that a koala could make it to the Middle East and back would require logic underpinned by unwarranted assumptions, such as that the koala would live long enough, that it could physically accomplish the feat, and that it would be able to eat along the way. Here are the things you consider "unwarranted assumptions " but which you did not research yourself before saying that: 1. Sea distance: Koalas live in northern Australia. From Somerset on the northern tip of Queensland to the nearest part of the Asian mainland (Singapore) is 4400 km or 2732 miles (I was being very generous saying it was 1000 miles). Wildcare Australia says this regarding koalas’ swimming ability: “Although koalas can swim, if there are no assisted ways for a koala to climb out they will drown.” Koalas sometimes die when they fall into swimming pools because "if there are no assisted ways for a koala to climb out they will drown.” 2. Land distance: I said there was another 7000 miles to the Middle East. The distance from Singapore to Jerusalem is 7761 miles. 3. Time to take to get to the Middle East: Koalas are slow. From the Queensland Department of Environment and Science: “When koalas are on the ground, they walk slowly as they are poorly adapted to walking on the ground.” In addition, koalas sleep 20 hours a day. If a koala were to walk for 2 hours at 2 miles per hour and spend the other 2 hours looking for food and eating, then they would travel 4 miles per day. It would take 2000 days for a koala to walk 7700 miles, or 5.5 years, close enough to my figure of 6 years. 4. The matter of food. Koalas eat eucalyptus, and very occasionally, when eucalyptus is not available, will eat lophostemon, melaleuca, or corymbia. - Eucalyptus are found in Australia, with a very few in New Guinea and Indonesia. There are none on the Asian mainland. - Lophostemon are limited to a small area in Western and Northern Australia. There are none on the Asian mainland. - Melaleuca are found on the east coast of Australia and New Guinea. There are none on the Asian mainland. - Corymbia is found in Australia and a few surrounding islands. There are none on the Asian mainland. A koala would starve on the way. 5. Making the trip out and back. I said “...any 9 year old koala that happened to make it to the Middle East and survived the flood…” A koala would not be able to make it to the Near East as a newborn joey, as it takes one year to mature. So if one started out as a one-year old, it would be 7 years old when it got there. After a year on an ark, it would be 8 years old. Koalas live to be 10 to 12 years old. With the return trip taking about six years, the 8-year-old koala would be 14 by the time it returned. It would die before getting back. That is just koalas. Ringtail possums, quokkas and tasmanian devils live shorter lives, and tasmanian devils would have an even longer trek than koalas. Please, please, please consider thinking critically about things like this.

@@donlimoncelli6108 Those details are not what I was referring to as unwarranted assumptions. Calvin already pointed this out, but you’re mixing IC’s from your world view with the IC’s of the creation position. That is not how to make a valid argument against a model. People have been moving animals all over the planet for thousands of years. Will you tell me I have no evidence for this? The reasons are quite varied. Domestication, agriculture, food supply, commercial trade, gifts, hunting, war, study, clothing, tools, medicine, accidental passenger, and on and on. Your unwarranted assumption is that Australia was 4400 years ago where it is today. The secularists have the continents all together at some point in the past, and so do many (not all) creationists. You’re also assuming the Ark started in the ME. But there is no Biblical text or any other line of evidence to indicate this is true. The Bible doesn’t say where the Ark started, only (approximately) where it ended. If the continents were all together pre-Flood, and people moved animals all over the planet pre-Flood like they do today, then there is no way to know how far any particular kind of animal had to travel to get to the Ark. Post Flood is a different story. But, by actually reading the Genesis text, you might find that it implies that people were instructed to assist the animals in their dispersal. By all means, think critically. And avoid the unwarranted assumptions.
