Matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed, therefore no matter nor energy would’ve existed to do the causing. Consequently, whatever did cause the universe to exist, would need to be immaterial and exist beyond time and space! Genesis 1: 1 God creates time space and matter! Entropy is somewhat opposite of evolution and why did this come into the universe if everything’s getting better. Genesis 2:17 says death came into the universe through the first sin! First two chapters of the Bible not the 500th chapter or the thousandth chapter; explain what evolutionists have not explained;, The first two laws of thermodynamics! DNA does not auto encrypt, it did not write itself the code writer is outside of the code. 3300 billion lines of computer code in 1 humans DNA, would fill the Grand Canyon 50 times of Books, let alone plant and animal DNA and it did not write itself! John 21:25 “I suppose everything Jesus did the world will not have enough room for the Books, telling of it“ Job 38:35 “were you there when I created the lightnings and they say ‘here we are!”’ This is God talking to Job! 3300 years later, James Maxwell discovers that light rays and electricity are two forms of the same thing! Bill Nye made a mistake my letting Ken continually steamroll over him every time he would try to make a point. Ken keeps making up some divide in science called observational science and historical science which has been directly refuted on numerous times. Because he wants to continue decieving people with this and we know this. I shouldn't bother even trying to convince him but maybe I can get to some of his followers. Its not just evolution that refutes the bible, its mountains of evidence in every major field of study. Its why despite what ken ham says, droves of people are leaving the faith the more they understand science. Our knowledge of evolution is litterally the foundation for our knowledge of biology. This is why we have vaccines for viruses that used to kill many people each year. Science did that. Not praying to god. Viruses arent technically alive so they dont technically undergo evolution in the common sense, but the same mechanics apply. Mutations in the DNA of the virus cause changes in the virus. Thats why we need to renew our shots every so often because the virus chsnges enough to where our body doesnt recognise it anymore. Surely anyone looking can accept this right? The same things happen with bacteria which are alive. The reason antibiotic resistant superbacteria exist is because when people dont take their full prescription of a certain antibiotic, and just stop when they feel better, they leave alive the bacteria that were more resistant to that antibiotic Which lets them proliferate and now you have stronger bacteria that are more resistant to a particular drug. Now you have evidence of evolution by natural selection. Because life changes. Ive also seen ken ham make up some arbitrary divide between evolution called micro and macro evolution. Evolution is just evolution. Change is just change. The only difference is time span. Many small changes compiled atop generations leads to more differences between the parent and daughter generations. And yet he continues to put some invisible limit on how much change can occur. Dont you see thats ridiculous?

  • @alexanderdenney6255

Bill nye like every other scientist starts with a question. Which is then turned into an experiment to answer the question. If this, then this, because this. His belief system is built by evidence from experiments. Whereas Kens belief system is built off "the bible told me so" which every Christian somehow conciders a 2000 year old book written by numerous people that never actually contains any timeless wisdom other that obvious ones like killing is bad. Duh killing is bad. No-one needs god to say that. The fact that god chose a book of words to communicate to people rather than a mass transmission of understanding is prove against itself alone. Written words are flawed being they're so up for interpretation. Just think about how Catholics, jews, Baptists, Mormons and jehovah witnesses all read the same book and yet if you were to put them in a conference room they would argue calling eachother wrong and claiming to have knowledge of the one true god. Words are limited in their ability to communicate, and an omniscient being could surely think of a better way. Even I can. If I had a message I wanted to convey to people, like god to the world of sinners, I would use my powers to share my understanding, my feelings, my rationale and my emotions directly to the people so they know my thought process directly. This will allow them to directly understand my entire rationale on any particular subject. Rather than a book that can be so wildly interpreted.

@@osmosis321 your so called evidence, is made up evidence and it's made up in order to build up an anti creator agenda. As in the case of Bill's example of Pluto. For decades Pluto was thought of as a planet. New discoveries, through better observation systems, and better measuring equipment, have forced scientists to change their minds to the point where now Pluto is no longer considered a planet. However, before the new discoveries, for decades there was evidence that Pluto was a planet, and it was taught in schools that it was. So your so called evidence, is only evidence, until new discoveries turn your evidence into lies. Science is a perpetual lie based on constant manufacturing of evidence. All because some people just really hate God, and do not want to recognize Him. If they were to recognize Him, that would mean they have a master. That they cannot do, because that means they can be held accountable for their sin. Regardless of what you or they think, everyone will have to give an account for their actions, and God's justice will have the ultimate say so. Putting your head in the sand for the entirety of your life, does not erase the being of God. It merely just makes you regret all of your decisions when God tells you, sorry, you cannot enter my kingdom. You wanted separation from me, now you will have it for eternity, and your quarantine quarters will be in the lake of fire and brimstone.

That difference is that IF THEY'RE correct, then it makes no difference WHAT you believe. We'll all end up in the same place, doing the same thing REGARDLESS of what we believe.....6 feet under turning into worm food. So why do they fight our beliefs so hard? What harm does our beliefs do? Absolutely NONE whatsoever. But if WE'RE the ones that are right, those who DON'T believe are SCREWED! I DON'T think I'm wrong that God is real, and there are a LOT of science based reasons why I believe that. But taking scientific theories at face value requires every bit as much faith as believing in God. And after all is said and done, since BOTH require faith, I'd rather believe in GOD and be wrong, than believe in the current scientific theories and be wrong. If I'M wrong I loose NOTHING, but if I'm RIGHT, anyone that DIDN'T make the right choice is HOSED! And they have no excuse, THEY'RE the ones that CHOSE to ignore the warnings.🤔🤷

    Жыл бұрын

@@henrylivingstone2971 I have proof for myself because I know God is real because he changed my life. God's word is the Bible, so knowing these two facts for myself at least... evolution cannot be true. Evolution was literally designed to explain Creation without the need of a Creator, because the modern world is growing to hate God more and more every single day. But the way I put it is simple, you will never be able to explain the origins of the universe through a "natural" or "scientific" route. For example, what came first? Time, Space and Matter or the Big Bang? One must have started the other, right? If you had a Big Bang, what allowed for that to exist if there is no Time Space or Matter? If there's Space and Matter but no Time, *when* did you put the Matter in the Space for the Big Bang to occur? If there's Time and Matter but no Space, *where* do you put the Matter? All three things must exist at the exact same moment, in order for a universe to exist. But what caused that to exist? How did the Big Bang happen if these things never existed? If they existed, how? So I ask again: What came first? The Big Bang, or Time, Space and Matter? It's paradoxical. Both are invalid. Not only that, our universe runs on the laws of physics as a whole. We can also use mathematics to interpret physics, if you've ever been to a physics class before you'll know this is true. Yet, 0+0=0. Isn't that strange? Nothing can't come from nothing, and yet it did somehow. How is this so? Also, Einstein said, "Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another". Where did that first ounce of energy come from? It must have been created. I assume you'll need lots of energy for a big bang! So what came first, the Energy to create the Big Bang, or the Big Bang to create the energy? Once again, it's paradoxical. No matter what, our universe must have been created by a supernatural means. There is absolutely no other way to spin this. Energy being created as stated above, would be supernatural. It just doesn't happen naturally! You don't have to believe my story about my life being changed by God, since I am merely a stranger on the internet. But that is my proof. Otherwise, no. I cannot prove it any better than any other person in the universe.

  • @henrylivingstone2971

@@CrownedCow Well….that’s not really proof, that’s a justification for your beliefs. The Bible is gods word because YOU believe it to be so, it is not an objective truth. And it takes as much faith to believe in the Bible as it does to place faith in evolution. However evolution is based in inherent truths, facts buttressed by the paleontological record and by micro models of evolution. And the purpose of evolution wasn’t to outright prove the non existence of god, it was to explain the natural world in a way religion couldn’t. There were so many connections that did not make sense in the context of religion and evolution was a means of proving an origin of species outside the influence of religion. It isn’t because people hate god, it’s because the Bible is now understood not to be a literal interpretation of the world and it’s processes.

I liked reading Creation magazine as a kid, (I was even featured in one of their cartoons once after my mother contacted them telling them that all I would read was their magazines. I believe it was a picture of me -- a generic teenage looking boy, sitting in a beanbag with headphones on, reading creation magazine, and I was saying something like, "Hey mum! Creation Magazine is the most educational thing you've ever invested in!") because it was full of interesting science, albeit with an agenda appended. Having never heard science be presented by anyone other than people affiliated with Answers in Genisis, I was struck with how open-minded and factual Bill Nye was. It is no coincidence that now, years later, I have left the church behind me, and am studying to be a physicist. Thank you Bill Nye, I'm sure I'm not the only one whose mind was changed that day.

@@jfs7327 A soul is not matter or energy. It’s a concept. A soul, or more realistically consciousness, is a byproduct of conscious living. Living is dependent on energy which derives from the consumption of food matter. That food matter is processed by the body to fuel chemical reactions in our bodies to fuel brain activity which can be interested as a “soul”. When we die the byproduct of that energy consumption, the consciousness or the “soul” is deprived of energy due to the failure of bodily functions. The body itself is still a store of energy due to the bodily functions still holding energy in the form of nutrients etc despite the lack of function as a result of being deceased. That energy is then transformed via decomposition and recycled back into the environment. The soul or the concept of a soul is a byproduct of consciousness and consciousness is a byproduct of energy consumption. There is no inherent energy in a soul so it is not subject to the rules of thermodynamics.

I love how Bill Nye says how there are far fewer christian scientists as opposed to secular ones. How does that qualify the secular ones as being correct? Science was often changed by a single person discovering things that contradicted what the rest of scholars believed at the time. The point is that science is not established by consensus or popular vote, so the fact that most scientists claim to be athiest doesn't really prove anything. Science is very political, and anyone even entertaining the possibility of an intelligent designer of the universe is ostracized from the community right away, so that may be a factor.

In a time where religion was heavily present, people came up with a new way to think of the world. A way of questioning things through rigorous testing and proof. This was the scientific method. Galileo, the inventor of one of the first telescopes, was one of the first to challenge these beliefs. He proved that the Earth and other planets were the ones actually rotating around the sun, not the other way around. This man was way ahead of time, so far that the people of his time could not understand. As a result, he was punished; confined to his house until he died. The more we learn about the world through a logical and objective lens, the less we are inclined to blindly follow set traditions. Science in not a tradition or a religion. Its a way of thinking; method/test. Its used to prove things, explore questions, explain phenomena. Religion has failed that test. We have even gone to the moon. There is no existence of a moon god. Another problem is that what we know in science is factual. There are a lot of things we don't know and we aren't afraid to admit it. You can challenge the ideas in science, and if proven right, you will be awarded a Nobel Prize and your name will forever be embedded in history. If you want another reason to prove science's validity, then look around. The cars you drive, the houses you live in, phones, etc. I'm currently in mechanical engineering technologies and we learn about statics, strength of materials, and materials science. These are vital topics in civil engineering as well and especially in building houses/bridges. We study and analyze the forces and stresses that may be on certain structures, which are invisible entities. We don't see forces, we don't see gravity, but we have made a system that works. It has worked time and time again. You living in a safe home is the result of this. Everything around you that has been synthetically produced was the result of science. Even medicine.

Eye opening video. Ken asked Bill, “Why does it (life) matter, ultimately?” According to Bill, our purpose includes passing on genes, having feelings and the possibility of understanding Jupiter at its core. Bill also said, “The meaning of life is to live.” Sadly, in the U.S., we’re seeing homicides at an alarming rate. As of mid-February 2023, there have been over 70 mass shootings. If someone doesn’t believe in a God given purpose, they can’t truly value their life or the life of anyone else. Abortion, homicide, gender reassignment and many other societal ills are the consequences of having a hollow secular perspective like Bill‘s.

@goodmicrophone1254 How on earth is that circular reasoning? The Gosples are historically verified events. Romans made reports about Jesus and that he was condemned to a cross dated around 50AD. The only part that's not historically verified is his resurrection. That's impossible to prove. All we have are eye witnesses. They scattered after his death. Why all of a sudden, they turn around later and die for him? Seems kinda odd they would steal a body to get killed for it. They knew telling people Jesus is alive again they'd be martyred for it. They lost literally everything for it, money/social status/power. All they got was their head cut off or crucified upside down, stoned, thrown to wild animals. All because they said Jesus is Lord. Is it circular reasoning to say how math works with a calculator? Or to say a scientific process is real by pulling out a science textbook? Is it circular reasoning to say the iPhone 16 isn't out yet by showing you the Apple website and showing you the newest model is the 15? The only possible way to know what really happened in history is to have an eye witness testify it. People around George Washington were witnesses to him being the first US president and wrote it down around the time he and others around him were alive. That information has been preserved throughout time. Same thing with the Gosples. We have over 5,000 Greek manuscripts or pieces dated from the 2nd to the 10th century, all agreeing on the same thing. Letters outside the bible dated in the first century mention Matthew Mark Luke and John and a man named Jesus. You can't reference a book that doesn't exist. Trust Jesus, dude, I've doubted. I've talked with friends who don't believe, and it got me to question the faith. I found that we can ensure that the events in the New Testament are true. There are far fewer hurtles you have to jump to believe than not to believe. You only have to believe in miracles. Either way, miracles have happened. No God, then life came from non life. If that's not miraculous to you, then I don't know what is. That's never happened in the history of mankind. I apologize for the long message. You can't explain this in 1 or 2 sentences.

Ken Ham on the other hand comes at this from a creationist standpoint, a model that defies all scientific understanding. Bill Nye rejects the notion of creation because science demonstrates that it did not happen; Ken Ham rejects the notion of evolution because he wants to cling on to his belief in creation. The difference between them is that Bill Nye has a mountain of scientific evidence to support hs position, Ken Ham has a 2,000 year old book written by scientific illiterates. You only have to watch the formal debate between them where the question was asked, 'What, if anything would make you change your mind'? Bill Nye's answer was, evidence. Ken Ham's answer was that, as a Christian it would not matter what evidence or facts he was presented with, he would not change his position. In a nutshell, Ken Ham is not remotely interested in the truth, he just wants to believe in creation regardless of reality. You are of the opinion tht Bill Nye was being a jackass, you are entitled to that opinion.
